Unit 3906 at Seaside Beach and Racquet Club, is sure to please with its great location and beautiful views. This is a 3 bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms includes a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and beautiful Gulf front balcony and gulf views.

This is a new unit to the rental program and is very clean! The unit has a fully stocked kitchen. The Living room features a queen pull out sofa. It also has a new flat screen TV. You can enjoy the beautiful DIRECT GULF FRONT VIEWS to the EAST and WEST from the spacious living room.

The master bedroom has direct GULF FRONT VIEWS and access to the GULF FRONT balcony. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed with attached master bathroom and jacuzzi bath tub and shower. The 2nd bedroom includes a queen bed, with an attached bathroom. The third bedroom is perfect for the kiddos featuring 2 Twin sized beds and GULF FRONT VIEWS. The stacked washer/dryer combo is located in the hallway adjacent the kitchen area.

Seaside Beach & Racquet Club is ideally located just across the street from stores, restaurants, and a family amusement center. There are also golf courses, water parks, mini golf, paved nature trails, marinas, and theaters nearby.

Repairs are being done to the buildings. It was loud. Concrete dust was everywhere. Construction started at 7:30am. Would not have stayed there if we had known there was work going on. It was so loud you could hear the grinding at the beach.

They were doing renovations around the resort and we were not made aware of that . Had to find out on our own . The balcony rails were covered with plastic so you couldn’t see through to the beach and this was a very big thing for us ! My handicapped son was unable to be on his hospital bed and see the beach so this was very disappointing . The master bed on one side you about fell off and we had to put towels under it to be able to hold the mattress up . It also was not cleaned well at all , socks were black on the first night so the floors definitely were not cleaned as they should’ve been .

Nice place

Enjoyed our stay. Only two things I could suggest is the place needs new doors/ handles they are rusted and it could also use a new couch, it’s very hard to sit on. The condo has a beautiful view from every window. Plenty of room for my family. Two outdoor pools that were clean and my kids enjoyed. Check in and out was very easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view!

The view. Just oh my gosh. I don’t think I could’ve picked a condo with a better view! Watching the sun rise was just breathtaking. My little loved the pool. I loved that the beach was just steps away from us. Check in and check out was super easy. I highly recommend this condo!

Great Condo!!!

Overall, the trip was great!!! A couple things in the room were broken. The recliner needs a couple of screws and one of the patio chairs were broken. Other than that, the view was amazing! I look forward to booking this room next summer assuming it’s available!!!!

Best unit in the entire complex

We've stayed at Seaside many times and in many 8 or 9 different condo units. This particular top floor, front corner unit has, without a doubt, the best views of any property in all of Orange Beach. This particular building sticks out toward the Gulf further than most other condo buildings so you quite literally have an unobstructed view that seems to stretch from Pensacola to Mobile! The unit is very nicely laid out, is very clean, has adequate seating inside and on the balcony, comfortable beds, and is just simply a very nice unit in every way. Next time we head to Orange Beach, we're booking this unit again!

Good vacation

VRBO was good to work with and communicated good with me. The location and view of the beach was amazing. The big negative for me was not being very clean. As I unpacked there was still crumbs of food on the floor and more sand than normal if it had been swept. My kids did comment that the condo needs a new couch because it was super saggy and stained. I’m usually not one to leave a negative but spot sweeping doesn’t cut it with me. So overall we had a blast on our vacation.

View amazing. Property was outdated, sheets and bathrooms linens in desperate need of replacing. Sofa worn basically sitting on springs. Only had one small intermittent working elevator to access 9th floor. Would not stay in this property again.

Poor upkeep

Bedroom ceiling was falling in and drywall was on the bed and floor. Front door damaged as if someone broke into the door. And dryer did not work. It was a smaller space than we anticipated but the proximity to the beach was great. It being a corner unit has great potential, however it is very important to keep up that older unit.

I was unfortunately disappointed with our condo. It had broken and stained furniture, a glass table that wasn't connected to the base, so it kept tipping on us. There was no table or chairs set up on the balcony. The sliding doors were very hard to open/close and the inside of the bathroom door had shed all over our towels. The washer/dryer was pretty gross as well. It was not updated at all except for the shower in the main bathroom. It worked for our family, but I was not impressed and will not be booking this unit again.

Friends and family Spring Break 2024

Overall our stay was great. The views from the 9th floor were spectacular. The unit felt open, light and airy. The kitchen was fully stocked and worked great. Beds were comfortable. Management company was great to work with. A few things to be aware of when booking. You will have to go pick up keys for the unit which is 20 minutes away at the management office. Elevators are hit or miss at the complex. Sometimes they didn’t work properly. Unit definitely had a weird smell to it when we arrived but went away when we opened things up. The living room furniture & couch were very uncomfortable and old. Other than that our time with friends and family at the resort & beach was wonderful.

Could use some updates

The worst thing was the door lock. This internet has keys, and they don’t unlock the door easily. The lock is old and worn out, so you have to manipulate the key to the right spot in order to lock or unlock the door. If you cook, make sure you bring your own baking pan for biscuits. The dryer continues to run when you open the door unless you hit the stop button. This seems like a safety concern potentially. The unit was clean. I would rather stay in a unit that has the keypad for entry. This would also alleviate the need to return back to the rental company before you leave to check out.

DIRTY

Upon checking in there was an odor, 1 tv in the queen room had a broken cord so was not usable the entire stay, the dryer does not work, there is mold in the master bathroom there was an old stiff brown (supposed to be white) towel hanging on the back of the door form previous people. The 3 glass doors did not lock we had our 3 littles with us which was a huge problem. It looked as if the locks where drilled out. The front door locked looked as if it had been kicked in at one point and would not hold closed if dead bolt was unlocked. You could not contact the host via phone at all we called several times with no success. On the other hand vrbo was great they viewed all of our puctures we sent in and agreed with us on it not being up to standards. The view and location was great!

Sand in my Boots weekend.

We booked months in advance, followed all the email requests for payment and photo ID, but somewhere imbedded in the several emails was a unusual request to pick up keys for the unit several miles away at a real estate office. We did not know this until we received a call from the agent asking where we were and that they wanted to close up and go home for the day. We have rented several properties over the years and assumed a multi unit property like this would have onsite office or like many other VRBO’s a code would be provided to gain access the the unit. We ended up spending another 40 minutes driving to get the keys and then figured out they would need to be returned. The last thing anyone wants to do when on vacation is spend additional time checking in. For the cost of the unit I’m confused as to why they can’t invest in a coded key lock like so many of the other units had. I was also told that we didn’t need to be out at the 10am check out time and that we could drop off the keys when ever we decided to leave town. I assumed they didn’t have it rented for the next day and were being nice. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool as our flight didn’t leave till 7:15pm that afternoon. As we were getting ready to catch our uber to the airport, the cleaning crew came and we were told to get out in 10 minutes. The unit was in ok shape, definitely in need of some updating and cleaning, we had two large bugs that appeared to be cockroaches during our stay.

Lost opportunity

There’s plenty of good to talk about with this property, but I’ll start with the bad. The check in location is 20 minutes away from the property where you need to go to obtain physical keys. There is no reason other than the will of the property manager that there isn’t a keypad on the door. The front door frame looks like it’s been broken into multiple times. Again this is in the condition that it’s in simply because the property manager doesn’t want to fix it. You get inside and there were only partial rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, no paper towels, two dishwasher pods and a random hodge podge of pots and pans. No cookie sheets, the can opener doesn’t work… just very bare bones. It seems like if the management cuts corners like this, what else are they cutting corners on? The building is very dated, the elevator works very sporadically. There is NO HOT TUB on property even though that is advertised in this listing and the pools don’t seem to be heated. With all that said, this is the top floor of a building with a very large deck. The view is amazing. Beach access is simple and easy. The beds and furniture are comfortable. There are plenty of stores around for groceries. If the owner spent a couple grand to put on a key pad, change the door frame, buy some new pots and pans and give some extra hygiene products this would be a must stay in the summer when a hot tub isn’t needed, I would avoid for spring break though.

Vacation cut short

I have never left any type of negative review but feel obligated. Upon opening the door that looked like it had been crashed open before there was very strong musty/ moldy smell to the point we discussed if should go in. Thought maybe airing out or running air would help. Air did not work Called agent and they said they would send someone out , which they did but asked me if I could be there to let serviceman in so spent first morning of vacation waiting in condo for repairman. I can do that at home. He did repair promptly. Tried to make the best of it and stay but with prolonged exposure wife became increasing ill with all symptoms of mold. Got to point we had to leave during the night to get her out. Agent was courteous and said they would look into it. I was remiss that mold in bedroom had been mentioned on a previous review that I did not see until after experiencing the problem and researching to see if anyone else had noticed it. Overall facility is older and in need of some care Regret posting any disparaging remarks but these were just the facts. Poor overall experience and had to leave and cut vacation short. Disappointed and loose some faith in VRBO that they do not indicate this is a subpar unit compared to what they advertise and what you expect when paying there fees to vet property’s and provide administrative support Hopefully White Shores is providing necessary cleaning and upgrades

Great view, unit needs refresh, property management not truthful

Let me start with the good- this unit is top floor corner unit and has a great view. The beds are clean and comfortable and the unit has great water pressure in the showers. The property/complex could use some updates but is otherwise ok. This unit is in need of a refresh, the furniture is old, stained and not very comfortable. Balcony furniture is cheap plastic chairs and wood benches which are again not very comfortable. The kitchen is appointed minimally, ie no keurig. My two biggest issues are 1) the need for a physical key for the door. I bet I haven’t had to have an actual key for a rental in over a decade and goes along with the need for a refresh. Also, the office where you pick up the key is a good 40 minute drive in Saturday afternoon traffic, plan accordingly. 2) In the time between booking and arrival I read a couple very disturbing reviews specifically around mold in the unit. I contacted the property mgt company and was assured the ac ducts were cleaned and the issue resolved. This turned out to be untrue, the mold smell about knocks you over when you open the door. I live in the humid south so I’m familiar with the issue and was able to make some accommodation to relieve the smell making it tolerable. My issue is the blatant lie that the issue was resolved. Would I rent this unit again? No! I cannot recommend this unit to anyone until they refresh it. Would I stay at this property again, probably.
