Welcome! Have a seat on my outdoor lanai, perched on the 10th floor of the Whaler Condominiums on Maui’s Kaanapali Beach. This spot brings you a panoramic vantage point for the sparkling sea and beckoning beach in front of you, the lush green mountain range and golf course to your left, and the island of Lanai and the old whaling port of Lahaina in the distance.

These views are the reason I bought this place over 20 years ago and never looked back. Guests love it, too, and tell me they spend hours on the lanai, relaxing in our chairs and watching the changing light, from sunrise to sunset.

At the outdoor dining table on the lanai, sample a Hawaiian pupu (an appetizer plate of local goodies like tempura vegetables and skewers of chicken and fish), and watch the lights of the old Lahaina whaling port glimmer in the distance as the sun sinks into the Pacific.

This is paradise--and one example of what awaits you at Whaler 1063.

Our studio condo with king-sized bed is intimate, comfortable, and keeps everything you need close at hand, including kitchen supplies and a collection of beach goodies like lounge chairs, a beach umbrella, and a picnic cooler.

We also provide a television and DVD player, wireless Internet, an étagère with Hawaiian artifacts and a small library of books. The kitchen and bathroom are newly remodeled.

The Whaler, where the unit is housed, provides many resort-style amenities for an active couple, including direct access to the beach, a heated pool and Jacuzzi, tennis courts, a sauna and exercise facility, a concierge, and ocean-side barbeques for beachfront dining.

And, for adventurers ready to explore, there are dozens of options nearby, including some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving on Maui, helicopter tours, golf courses, ferry, bicycle trips down Haleakala, horseback riding in the upcountry, wineries, luaus, the Ulalena evening theater show, and moonlight dinner cruises leaving from Kaanapali Beach. You won’t want to leave.

We visit Maui each year and were delighted to find this studio rental. Bill was a pleasure to work with, made the process easy and the condo had all amenities you could ask for. The location, on the 10th floor, in tower 2 overlooked the Whaler Village and had a nice view of local activity, music and beaches. Beautiful.

Centrally located spacious apartment overlooking beautiful Kaanapali Beach

My wife and I just wrapped up our first trip to Maui where we stayed at the Whaler 1063, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The place is extremely quiet at night, the beach isn't overly crowded, and the condo comes stocked with everything you need. This includes beach umbrellas, lounge chairs, coolers, an ice maker, anything you can think that you might need for a comfortable stay. The Whaler resort sits along a line of resorts on Kaanapali Beach and faces the mountains, with its rear to the beach. On multiple nights, my wife and I packed a cooler with champagne and a couple of chairs to watch the beautiful sunset. You will not be disappointed by staying here--we fully plan to return!

Great Condo

My wife and I spent 14 wonderful days here and enjoyed it immensely. What you see on Bill's web site is exactly what you will walk into. The unit was well maintained, clean, and hospitable. It has everything you could possibly want. Bill has thought of all the things that make this Condo special for all his guest. I could run down a long list of amenities but I'd just be repeating what other guests reviews have said. The location is perfectly situated close to restaurants, golf, shopping, parasailing, snorkeling and all other kinds of beach activities (All within a very short walk). The views from the lanai are fantastic from waking up to a beautiful sunrise coming over the mountains to a day ending magnificent sunset over the ocean. You will be able to hear music from the Hula Grill and Leilani's from happy hour into the evening, but not to worry the music ends at approximately 9 P.M. You will see catamaran's coming and going for daily activities and evening sunset sails, just too many things to mention them all here.

The whalers staff was friendly and always eager to help. Their facilities are well maintained and things like free towel exchanges for the beach, and pool along with free beverages (non-alcoholic) morning, noon, and night are very nice touches. With parking coming at a premium on Maui the under ground parking garage is also a great part of the property.

Would we stay in Bill's unit again on our next trip to the beautiful island of Maui you bet we will!

Great unit with beautiful view

We spent 4 nights in this unit. It is in great shape, clean and well stocked, and had no issues that needed attention during our stay. Bathroom clean and in great condition, shower enclosure especially nice. We appreciated that there were a variety of spices, oil etc leftover from previous visitors that meant we did not need to do a lot of shopping for the small incidentals. Plus beach umbrellas and more. Wifi worked well. We loved having breakfast on the deck in the mornings. Unit is on the 10th floor, high enough so that we did not have any issues with noise from the nearby Whalers Village. The view from the unit takes in a sweeping view of Kaanapali Beach and Lanai. It was especially entertaining to watch the snorkel cruise catamarans land on the beach to pick up passengers! Free washer/dryer nearby next to the elevator was always available when we needed it. Whaler facilities - pool, hot tub, gym, parking, lobby were all in great shape. Owner was easy to work with, responsive on communications, and interested in us enjoying our stay. I recommend this unit!

Great Location, easy parking, also lots to do without a car & can walk to restaurants & the beach,.

Checking in at the desk was efficient & speedy. Unit is very comfortable and clean with adequate

kitchen facilities, TV, sleeping arrangements and closet space. Balcony is a wonderful place

to sit & sunbathe, read, eat or watch the whales & boats on the water. Have actually stayed here

several times.

Everything about it was perfect!

Everything about this property was perfect. The unit was immaculate, well appointed, a great view of both sunrise and sunset, and on the non-windy side of the Whaler property. Dealing with the owner and payment were seamless. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The property is adjacent to a small shopping center as well as a number of restaurants from fast food to elegant. The pool and spa are great and the beach, with swimming, wading, snorkeling, body boarding, etc. were only steps away. The waves were large enough to attempt to learn to surf but small enough for children to be safe. We look forward to returning.

Great location, condo and booking process.

Excellent staff and services. Great location next to shopping, golf, beach and other resorts. Condo has all you need and a deck to enjoy sunsets. The booking process and clear communication with the Owner made the whole experience stress free.
