Breathtaking and Amazing Ocean View!

I have been to Maui many times but this property and rental was my very favorite! Absolutely beautiful unit with an unobstructed long ocean view that is absolutely amazing. The one bedroom has two separate sliders that walk out to a huge deck with unobstructed views! There is snorkel equipment, boogie boards, umbrellas and everything you could possibly need along with a huge make-up mirror, hair dryer, etc. The bed is magnificent and the unit is gorgeous! This is my new favorite spot as I've stayed at the Sheraton and the ocean views are even better at this location! The Sheraton is one hotel away but now I only want to stay here...

Comfortable well-appointed condo in great location

We highly recommend this condo and we wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

The unit is spacious and well appointed. Plenty of room and storage areas, comfortable bed, and nice décor. The 4K TV is a very nice plus. The lanai is its best feature. It is very long and wide, covering the whole width of the unit. The views of the ocean and the mountains are spectacular. We appreciated having the air conditioner. The quaint kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and has lots of counter space. The bathroom is small but more than adequate with toilet and bathtub. Outside the bathroom door is a vanity area with a long counter with sink so that one person can be brushing teeth or putting on make-up even if the bathroom is occupied. The washer and dryer can be found in a small laundry room next to the elevators. We used it three times and never had a problem.

We understand that there is a plan to make some updates starting with the kitchen. We think that this, including a carpeting refresh, would make this already comfortable and accommodating environment even better!

The Whaler is a very nice property and is a mix between a resort and a condo. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The concierge station by the pool has friendly and helpful staff. Especially Michael who helped us book several excursions and restaurant reservations.

We could not have chosen a better place to stay at. The Whaler is in the middle of Kaanapali Beach, south of Black Rock. The beach is long and wide, all sand, no stones, no algae. Very nice waves for swimming at any time of the day. Snorkeling in Black Rock was incredible, lots of very colorful fish and even two sea turtles! There is a nice beach walk that goes the whole length of the beach. Next door is the Whaler Village, and outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants

Last but not least, we wanted to thank Julie, the condo owner. Weeks before our trip, Julie started sending us a lot of information about the island, suggestions for activities, getting to and from the airport, etc. We knew who to contact at any time in case of problems and when we reported a minor issue, the property manager handled the repair very quickly without any inconvenience to us. Julie and her family care about your accommodations and comfort as this is also their paradise home. This care and connection really came through from the moment we contacted her and throughout our stay.

Everything you can want for a perfect vacation. Very fast owner customer service. Everything is close by. Perfect condition. Lots of extra goodies for the beach. Would highly recommend!!!

Good position. Lovely entrance/welcoming area.

The second time we have stayed in this apartment and I know it won't be the last. It is a perfect spot on Kaanapali Beach. Great afternoon sun. Walking distance to great restaurants. Golf course also. The Whalers village is right next door. The apartment is very clean, well looked after and the owner is very accessible and very pleasant to deal with.

Perfect Getaway

The condo is perfect for a getaway. The condo itself is very comfortable with everything you could want. The view is beautiful and in a perfect location. Highly recommend this condo.

Beautiful View and great location!

My boyfriend and I had the best time! Julie was so helpful with recommendations of the area prior to our stay and made getting there and checking in so easy. We ate breakfast on the patio every morning and took in the beautiful view. We had a great Parasailing experience with UFO parasailing right in front of the hotel. The next town over, Lahaina, was our favorite for small town shopping and to grab a quick happy hour drink. All in all, a wonderful trip. The only downside was that we didn't stay longer!
