White sands, emerald-green waters, blue skies: That’s the view from the balcony of Boardwalk 805, an 8th-floor condo overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Not only can you admire the beachfront view from your condo, but you can also stroll to the beach in a flash. No need to load up your car with a day’s worth of gear, contend with traffic, and hunt for a parking spot before you can feel the sand beneath your feet; here, the beach is practically your backyard.
A 1-bedroom unit that sleeps 4, Boardwalk 805 is as well suited for a family vacation as it is for a romantic getaway. The master bedroom is a restful retreat, with a luxurious king-size bed, a flat-panel TV, and ample storage. If you bring the kids along, they’ll love sleeping in the bunk beds built into an alcove; they’ll feel as if they’re at a very exclusive summer camp.
The balcony is furnished with chairs and a side table. Start your day with coffee and toast while watching dolphins frolic in the waves; end your evening with a nightcap in the silvery moonlight. And at least once during your stay be sure to catch the sunset over the gulf—the sight of the fiery hues reflected in the sparkling waters is one you’ll long remember.
The sliding glass doors that connect the balcony to the living area allow you to partake of the view even as you sprawl out indoors on the sectional sofa. Sunny and beautifully furnished, the living area has its own flat-panel TV with cable, and its tiled floors will feel fabulously cool underfoot when you return from the beach. The room includes a dining table that seats 4. The upholstered chairs are so comfortable, you’ll want to linger long after the meal is over.
For less formal meals, Boardwalk 805 has a breakfast bar that seats 3. The gleaming counter can also serve as a place to set up your laptop and check email via the condo’s free WiFi. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the kitchen. Equipped with cookware, tableware, and a full gamut of appliances, from refrigerator/freezer to dishwasher, the kitchen can handle everything from coffee and toast to a multicourse feast.
The Boardwalk Beach Resort in which the condo is located has its own gulf-front pool, surrounded by a large deck dotted with palm trees. After your swim you can laze on a poolside chaise while watching seabirds swoop and soar over the gulf. There’s a gated kiddie pool for the little ones, complete with splash pads and a waterfall, plus 2 hot tubs. And between March and November the poolside Under the Boardwalk Bar & Grill is open so that you can slake your thirst and sate your appetite without leaving the patio area.
Other amenities include a complimentary parking pass during your stay. And thanks to Boardwalk 805’s stellar location, you can park your car and forget about it—there’s so much to see and do within walking distance. There’s the beach, of course. When you stay from March to October, 2 beach chairs and an umbrellas will be set up for you on the sand free of charge. When not lounging on your chair you can swim, paddleboard, parasail, surf-fish, canoe, kayak, race jet skis, collect seashells, and build sandcastles.
Beyond the beach, numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are within walking distance. So are WonderWorks educational amusement park, Coconut Creek Family Fun Park, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Signal Hill Golf Course.
The primary guest of Boardwalk 805 must be at least 25 years old. Between late May and early August, in keeping with many other Panama Beach City condos, weekly rentals with a Saturday arrival are required. Regardless of when you stay, however, you’re sure to have a wonderfully memorable time. See for yourself; make your reservation today!
