About this property

ZC2 Home Base for Zion With Two Masters

A two bedroom, two bath home with full kitchen makes this an ideal place to set up headquarters for your tour of the National Parks located here in Utah.

This modest 1,000 sq. ft. home has everything you need with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and space to sleep 6.

Each bedroom has a king bed as well as a single daybed and an on-suite bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities including a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, dishes and a variety of small appliances. 

The unit is also equipped with a propane BBQ, washer and dryer, A/C and Heater, Wi-Fi and a Roku TV- so be sure to bring your logins with you!  We also have an antenna that gives you about 18 local channels.

Guests have access to the entire property, washer and dryer, barbecue, our cottonwood grove and other amenities found in the back portion of our project.

Your host is available by Airbnb chat, live chat text, phone and the caretaker is always close by.

La Verkin is a small town located about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. We have a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and an excellent coffee shop. We are located next to Hurricane, which has a Walmart, movie theater, restaurants and more. If you need more than that, St. George is about 25 minutes away.

You will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking.

This was an excellent property for our adventures to Zion. I would have rated it 5 stars except that the shower broke. That said they owner was on it right away and had it fixed as soon as the could. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Perfect place to stay near Zion

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we love the location because it's in between Zion and St. George, the 2 main places we like to hike and visit. It is a quiet area and near to everything you need - stores, restaurants, plenty of hiking.

Lovely home located not too far from Zion. It was so nice to have two masters with the day beds. Definitely recommend staying here. It was clean and quiet but we did sleep in the back bedroom. The front room could be a little noisy for those not used to being near a road. We loved the local coffee shop! Delicious for dinner! Thanks so much

Lovely fully equipped house near Zion NP.

We spent two nights in this very clean fully equipped home while we explored Zion NP just a few miles to the east. The kitchen was fully stocked and even came with a supply of waffle mix, a waffle iron and butter and syrup. The bathrooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable.

The location wasn’t far and it had all we needed including a kitchen with supplies, washer and dryer, large bedrooms with their own baths and a separate living area with TV. We loved the cottage. It was well updated, had a great view of the mountains and could walk to a few restaurants. We appreciate all the additional touches like coffee and filters, pancake mix and syrup and spices and condiments. It was a pretty drive to Zion too.

Comfortable and convenient spot for our short trip to La Verkin. Close to grocery store, coffee shop and jem trails. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only cooking utensils were whisks and a spatula, so could use a few more items for fixing simple meals. Would definitely stay again

The place was wonderful with a comfortable bed. Loved that the two rooms were replicas as we stayed with another couple and didn’t have to awkwardly have one couple stay in a nicer room. It was difficult to find the place when we arrived as the map took us to a different unit. I recommend getting Google maps corrected.

Perfect! Wish we could stay longer!

We stayed at this property for 2 days that we were doing day hikes in Zion. The location was only 30 minutes from Zion, easy drive. The property was brand new and had absolutely everything we needed to relax after a long day. They even had a rice cooker!!! The rooms and beds were comfortable and could have easily accommodated 6 guests. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer before heading to Bryce. We will definitely visit this property again.

Perfect For Park Exploring

Two couples stayed here. We had plenty of room, two bathrooms, and a really nice television system. Everything was new and sparkling clean. Each bedroom also had a twin bed in it, making the accommodations easily and comfortably fitting for 6. Perks included coffee filters, sugar for coffee, tide pods for laundry and dishwasher soap.Great location, great accommodation.

Perfect home for a weeklong getaway

This was the perfect spot and perfect size for our family of 5 (4 adults and a toddler). Spacious, yet cozy, this provided us with what we needed for our week long stay! Thank you for providing instructions on how to use the TV, as well as providing a well-applianced kitchen (we used the waffle maker more than once!). This location allows for an easy day-trip to Zion or a drive to St. George. Lots of fun outdoor opportunities nearby and a welcome home to come back to each evening. Great location, great price, great place!

The place was clean and convenient as others have reviewed. The owners have taken a lot of thought in providing guests with many amenities and extras that truly make you feel like you are staying at your own home. One is able to grill, use the slow cooker or rice cooker and prepare all your meals because the pantry is stocked with all the basic items along with the kitchen electrics. There is coffee for the coffeemaker, detergent for the washing machine, yes, waffle mix for the waffle iron and much more.

I am Carolyn and my husband and I have had vacation rentals for a number of years. We decided we wanted to build some from scratch and thus this project of four homes.
This year we will have our 39th Anniversary. We have five children and 13 grandchildren.
I love to play the guitar, banjo, piano and most any other instrument.
I also enjoy being in plays. This area has many live theater companies.

Why they chose this property

We have other vacation rentals, but wanted to do something special. We purchased this property in 2016 and finished the first phase with these four vacation rentals. Our second phase was to build 24 bunkhouses for people who cannot find a place to camp or just want to save some money on their accommodations while visiting Zion. While this property is very well stocked and has most everything you would want the Bunkhouse second phase is more basic. It is also be set in among some beautiful trees and natural surroundings covering a three acres. We hope it works out to be a very restorative place for people who want to come and enjoy some time in small town Utah.

What makes this property unique

The benefit you have of being in La Verkin is that it is a perfect base of operations for your National Park experience. We are located about 20 minutes from Zion, but it is a beautiful drive with some great views of the park. We have all of the luxuries of being home with a full kitchen and full size appliances, so you can cook some of your own meals and save some of your hard earned money to spend on something else. Each place also has its own barbecue for your use.
Each place has its own porch and patio to enjoy in the cooler evenings.
