Four bedroom, three full bathroom charming Soho beach house located in a residential neighborhood where most people live full-time. Not suitable for groups of young Spring Breakers. Also not suitable for ambulatory children under seven years of age because bedrooms on second floor are up and down wooden stairs children should not navigate. The property is maintained as the owner's home, not in the manner of most short-term rentals. The house has a gorgeous open floor plan of living room, dining room, and kitchen with dramatically vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Gigantic master suite with garden tub, walk-in closet, den area with twin daybed, and office space. Charming notty pine -- wood floors, walls, and ceiling, but updated bathrooms and kitchen. Large, fully-appointed kitchen with polished stone counter tops and all the dishes, pans, silverware, appliances, and utensils a group could need. Adorable private, fenced back yard nicely landscaped. Backyard has gas grill, chaise lounges, and a dining table and chairs. Outdoor shower with hot water. Steps from beach (one-half block). Can hear waves crashing from yard and master bedroom windows. Three additional bedrooms: one downstairs with a queen-sized bed; and two upstairs with queen-sized beds. New couches in living room. 55" wall-mounted tv on swivel, curved screen television in living room, and three additional televisions in bedrooms, all with U-verse. Washer & dryer in garage. Two-car garage; three cars can park in the driveway. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Central air conditioning with separate units and separate thermostats for main floor and upstairs (three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs). Quiet, private feel, although a short (less than two mile), safe, easy bike ride to busy downtown JAX beach with restaurants, bars, and shops. Walking distance from great restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops. Less than a mile from upscale, famous-for-golf Ponte Vedra. Free wi-fi. Professionally managed and cleaned. All white towels and linens provided. All natural environmentally safe cleaning products used. Beach cruisers provided. Beach towels, chairs, and toys provided. Twenty minute beautiful drive down the old coastal highway to St. Augustine. A mile from Guano Tolamato Matanzas National Nature Preserve. Thirty minutes to Mayport, Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve and Amelia Island. Local manager available 24/7 for any questions or recommendations. When you visit, you are family. We make sure you have everything you need to make your vacation perfect.

Well-appointed Beach Home

We enjoyed our time together as family in a location that was close to the beach and entertained our young grandchildren with a nice gathering spot in the courtyard tor the adults. The host was very responsive and I appreciated the no pet policy. We hope to return.

The place was more wonderful than we even expected.

We loved this beach house. It was clean, nicely decorated, and steps away from the beach. We loved grilling out back after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the host left snacks, water, and toiletries as a nice hospitable touch. We can’t wait to plan our next Jacksonville trip to stay here!

Wonderful getaway with friends!

This was an exceptional property - everything was as advertised! Well-appointed, clean and comfortable - great for people who like to cook and great spaces for gathering, inside and out! Lots of places say that they are “steps from the beach” but this one really is! So many thoughtful touches that made our stay truly memorable! We are a group that has planned getaways for 30 years and this was one of the best! Already planning a repeat visit!

Family Beach Trip

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. From the house design, to location and easy beach access, we are ready to return! We shared this home with two family including 3 children from age 3-15. The home is ready for any adventure. We loved walking to the coffee shop and açaí shop. We stayed in and cooked and the kitchen is set up for meal prep and dinners in. The backyard is cozy and private - we love this home and will return again!

Fabulous Family Stay

Wonderful spot. Super convenient for visiting our Jax Beach family for the holidays. Steps from the ocean. House exactly as depicted, clean, neat and well stocked. Kitchen had everything needed and in good condition which is so nice for a change. Bathrooms are clean and nice and bedrooms comfortable. Super eating options for our gang from Kitchen bar style to dining table to outside patio. Highly recommend the propriety and owners and property manager couldn’t have been easier to communicate with. Beach bikes in the garage too which we didn’t get to use due to the weather but super place for a beach stay! Enjoy

Absolutely Perfect

I can’t say enough about this property! Clean and bright, with every detail thought about, this home made for an unforgettable week of fun in the sun. The neighborhood is safe and conveniently located to anything you might need. The beach is literally steps away, which was so convenient for setting up the equipment it takes to stay all day. The home has plenty of beach towels, chairs, and toys for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and easy for preparing meals, and the downstairs master bedroom and bathroom was perfect for our elderly mother who needed space for a walker and a step-in shower. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds, plenty of lamps, and even small trash cans in every room. This is so thoughtful and appreciated! Another plus is plenty of blankets, linens, and extra towels. I can’t say enough about this house and the experience that comes with it. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Great Beach House

We traveled to Jacksonville Beach for a conference for my husband in Ponte Vedra. The house is just a few minutes drive to the Inn at Ponte Vedra. We brought our 3 teenagers and 3 of their friends. The house was very comfortable for all of us. The beds were soft and had many pillows. The kitchen had pretty much anything we needed to prepare multiple meals and desserts. We also utilized the gas grill on the patio. The large table fit everyone for dinners. There are several televisions in the house. They have AT&T Uverse in the house, but there are very few channels available(no news stations or sports channels or basic movie channels). The wifi was sufficient for the kids to watch Netflix on their devices without any buffering. This house is located in a great spot. It is literally steps to the beach. I loved that we could easily walk back to the house for forgotten items or just to grab something. It is in a quiet residential area and easy to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and a few stores. We felt safe during our stay here. It is a very bike friendly area and our teenagers enjoyed exploring the area on the 2 bikes provided and the ones we brought to the beach. We loved the outdoor shower and side door into the garage with the washer and dryer. The kids came in from the beach, showered &/or hosed off, and put wet items straight in the washer. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling to the area.

Surprise party for my dads birthday....

Probably the best VRBO experience to date. The hosts were amazing and so easy to communicate and work with. They were also welcoming when we arrived. We have a ton of family locally and this was perfectly located next to my grammy's condo. It was perfect for our celebration and had lots of seating for our intown relatives to visit. House was even better in person. We will 100% be back.

Awesome house! One house from the beach. Lots of space to spread out and have your own room. Clean and well kept home. Close to shopping and restaurants. If ever back in Jax. Beach, I would stay there again. Great hosts!

Amazing getaway

The house was perfect with everything you need. Steps from the beach!! We loved taking the bikes around to get coffee and have breakfast nearby. Paula was so friendly and easy to work with and the welcome baskets added such a surprising and wonderful touch. Can’t wait to go back again!!!!

This home had more than enough room for everyone, and the location awesome! It was in a quiet neighborhood, and so close to the beach. It was perfect for our family and we will definitely stay here again. The property manager was also very welcoming.

Amazing home with an amazing location

This house was perfect for us. We had a mini family reunion and the house was so comfortable for us. The small backyard had plenty of seating for everyone to hang out in. The dining area had plenty of room, even when we had local family over. The downstairs room was perfect for my 99 year old father-in-law. The beach is really just steps away and they have everything you need to enjoy it, including an outside shower to rinse off in. There were special touches throughout the whole property including water bottles at the bedside plus snacks and coffee in the kitchen. It definitely deserve all 5 stars in all categories!

Exceeding expectations

This property was exceptionally well equipped for a beach vacation. The proximity to the beach was great. 2 min. Walk at most . The kids loved the bicycles and used them every day. Would recommend to anyone.

We have a local co-manager only a half-block away who can help you with everything, but we as owners also are very involved. We want you to love our beach house as much as we do. This is our home, and we'd like to share its comfort and beauty with you when we are not using it. We ask that you treat our home as you would your own, meaning enjoy, but we will also be picky about our renters because we cannot have guests who carelessly break and damage things, who let small children run wild, ruining the upholstery, or who steal.

Why they chose this property

Our street is quiet and private. You are steps from the beach. But you can also get to JAX and Neptune beaches on bike, so there is LOTS of nightlife. Alternatively, upscale Ponte Vedra is less than a mile away. That means golf, golf, golf. St. Augustine is also under 30 miles down the coast. On the drive, there are hundreds of acres of preserved wilderness to explore and kayak, and many public beaches just over towering sand dunes. Historic St. Augustine is yet another, third type of nearby place to explore. In addition, we are only a couple hours from Savannah.

This is not your typical vacation rental. It is a spacious, comfortable, beautiful home. It is maintained as the owners' home, so everything works, and when things get rusty, outdated, or shabby, they are replaced.
