A calm refuge from Venetian crowds

This was my 6th trip to Venice and my first time not staying on the main island. I will definitely stay on Murano again and would consider staying in this same apartment. It was spacious and bright with lovely views over the water. The only downsides are that things like the windows and bathroom could use some repair and there are small ants in the garden that insist on coming in to visit the kitchen looking for food. Being on the water, Venice is damp and that sometimes causes rooms with poor ventilation to smell a bit odd. Check in and out was super easy, and it's a quick walk to several vaporetto stations.

Très belle expérience à Murano

Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette location, fidèle à la description fournie par l'hôte. Le logement est très agréable, lumineux, propre, très bien équipé et coquet. Il offre en outre une vue incroyable sur la lagune.Cristiano, notre hôte, nous a très gentiment accueilli et s'est montré d'une grande disponibilité.Nous le remercions encore pour son accueil. Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de ce voyage à Venise et de notre séjour à Murano.

Great location on the river!

We loved our getaway in Murano. The communication was great with the property owner and he seemed to go above and beyond with his help to us (as travelers new to Italy). We loved our time in the property and in the Murano / Venice area.

Murano

This is a very lovely home. The decor and location were fantastic. A short walk to the water bus and you are on your way. The home is very well appointed and the water view is amazing.

Great apartment on edge of lagoon

We loved escaping the hustle and bustle of Venice and staying on Murano island. A beautiful mini Venice where you can walk along the canals and enjoy the history of glass making. We attended a glass crafting workshop and watched glass blowing. Line 3 is about 20 mins to Venice and line 4.1/4.2 takes you to St Marks Sq in about 40 mins. Enjoyed all the boat rides. Cristiano was great at communicating and sent lots of info to find the property which was a little tricky to find but we got there. The property was clean and very spacious, with a/c in the kitchen-diner-lounge. The bedrooms were hot at night in August and we could have benefitted from fans and lots of mosquitoes in the evening so we stayed inside from dusk but there’s nets on all the windows so hardly any mosquitoes in the house. Supermarket nearby on the island and lots of restaurants. We can definitely recommend the house and Cristiano as a caring host.

Großzügige, gut ausgestattete Wohnung direkt am Wasser. Perfekt für einen erholsamen Venedig Urlaub auf der Nachbarinsel Murano. Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Cristiano. Vielen Dank nochmal. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Loved the quiet of Murano!

We loved having this apartment to call home for two nights. It allowed us to fully explore both Murano and Venice, AND have a quiet comfortable place to call home when we needed a break from the crowds. Cristiano was a wonderful host and very helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions. I would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful!

I loved staying in the beautiful house surrounded by water. The area was both picturesque and safe. And a perfect location for everything I wanted to do on Murano. Cristiano is a super good communicator. He always got back to me quickly. He also most generously arranged a tour of his glass factory, as well as being very helpful overall.

Spacious and quiet apartment off the beaten path

Charming, spacious, quiet 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on the lagoon. The apartment is located in a gated private lower area of a larger home with a small cozy porch and outdoor chairs to enjoy.it’s about a 10 minute walk to restaurants, grocery and ferries. We bought a ferry pass and took the public ACTV ferry to tour Venice 2 days. (These ferries stop running early evening but you can hire a taxi to return). Cristiano was a wonderful host and very accommodating. He met us at the ferry and walked us to the house which we never would have found without him! There was a problem with the apartment for 1 of our 3 nights which we knew in advance and Cristiano found us another apartment for 1 night and made it a smooth transition. Be sure to check out his family glass shop for some beautiful items. If you are looking for a quiet spot to return to after touring busy Venice this is a great option!

Charming and very responsive host, great apartment right on the lagoon, away from the tourist crowds. Murano is little Venice, with some quaint places to eat.

highly recommended!

This is a fantastic place directly on the lagoon, in a house belonging to one of the local glass workshop owners (one of the best ones!). Recently refurbished, lots of atmosphere and great views. Checkin- and out worked like charm. The apartment worked well for us, a family of three. Large well-stocked open kitchen and living room. Huge bathroom. There is a double and a single bedroom and a third kids’ room for smaller kids, as well as a nice patio right at the water. Note, when we booked, the listing did not include a cleaning fee and so there was a reasonable extra charge for it.

Appart très sympa en bord de lagune

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Cristiano. Vaste et lumineux appartement pour 4 personnes ( 2 adultes et 2 enfants) au nord de Murano en bord de lagune. Vue superbe du salon et de la véranda. Le jardin doit être agréable en été. Appartement bien équipé a 10 mm du vaporetto pour Venise où Burano et a 20 mm de l aéroport par Allilaguna . Je vous recommande cette location
