Stayed for a couple nights with my family and enjoyed Kathi's wonderful home. Spent some time ice fishing on the lake and enjoying the seasonal maple activities in the region. Caught a very nice small mouth bass. Kathi was a great host!
We really enjoyed our week at the lake and the house was very clean and the host was very attentive to our questions. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake .
Highland Lake is beautiful, and this great little camp offers plenty of outdoor space for enjoying the lake and plenty of space on the deck and indoors for family to gather.
Our family spent time at this perfectly located and much loved home for 2 nights. We couldn’t get enough of the lake, the birds and the view. Our hosts were easy to contact and very friendly. We highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean when we arrived, check in process was easy and the communication with Kathi was very prompt. Thanks the great memories!
The property is as described and was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, games, and everything needed to enjoy a relaxing stay. Even the weather was terrific for 6 out of 7 days. The owners dock is sturdy and relatively new. The fishing was very good and every fish was released. Hearing and seeing the loons and nesting eagles was outstanding. The owner is very quickly responsive to questions. We would definitely stay at this lake house again. The only factor that might negatively affect some visitors is that 1 bedroom has no closet or dresser for clothing, but we did not need that room anyway. The house can sleep up to 8 people though.
We enjoyed our stay here for our wedding weekend at nearby andover barn. Kathi was very communicative and easy to work with. The home was spacious and clean with a waterfront view as a bonus. would recommend this home to others.
So many amenities! Owner is responsive to any need or inquiry. Location is peaceful and relaxing and only a short drive to other attractions. This home away from home has something for everyone! Highly recommend it!
Very peaceful getaway on the lake. The property was very clean and well kept. My kids loved swimming from the dock and visiting the beach across the road. Kathi was a wonderful host and made check in a breeze
It was so great to be right on the lake with a dock since our grandson is a fishing enthusiast and his sister loves to swim. So relaxing for the adults since the property had everything we needed. Beautiful weather was a plus! Kathi is a most accommodating host.
The property was exactly as it was listed. The house was very comfortable. Furniture was comfortable beds were nice. The lake was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this property to others.
Property was very clean, well cared for and amenities were fantastic! Kathi, the property manager, was solicitous and prompt to respond to inquiries. We made great memories and look forward to our next stay!
The house was very clean and cute. Lovely view of the lake. Room to spread out and hang out with our friends. Was very close to the wedding venue at Ragged Mountain.
The wkend was a 60th bday and a 14yr anniversary celebration. We had a great time relaxing, fishing and stories around the fire pit. The house was comfortable, roomy and very welcoming. It accommodated two families with privacy. A definite do over.
Kathy was an exceptional host. The property was immaculately clean, very comfortable and well stocked.
We were in a beautiful location. Aside from the amazing views and being surrounded by nature, were two minutes walking distance to the Northern Rail Trail
We had a fantastic trip and made some happy memories.
This was our third year in a row staying at this property. Location is convenient as well as all the amenities that are included. Kathy is wonderful to communicate with and is very responsive. We will return.
A great place to enjoy warm summer days on the lake
This is the 3rd summer our group has stayed at this lake house. We enjoy the friendly and responsive host. The house is perfect for enjoying the lake. The property features a very nice swimming beach and perfect spot by the lake to relax and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. My wife and I enjoyed early morning kayaking each day of our stay. Lots of wildlife early in the morning around the lake. Quiet neighborhood. We hope to return again next summer.
The house was spacious and convenient, exactly right for our family. The views of the lake and the beach across the road were magnificent during fall leaf season. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the water.
The owner was very communicative and helpful. When we didn't have the checkin info, she got in touch with us very quickly and was so kind. She also helped with recommendations in the area.
We picked apples, hiked at Franconia Notch State Park and Flume Gorge, did a corn maze and cider donuts at Moulton Farms. Fall is a great time to visit!
House was charming and well setup. Couldn't use washing machine, which made a trip to the laundromat necessary. Might have been nice to have a boat available. Besides that, everyone had a great time!
This is the 3rd year my wife and I, along with our friend’s family, have stayed a week at this house on Highland Lake. We keep coming back because it is the perfect place for enjoying the lake. The house is clean. Our host is very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The house has plenty of room and open area for our families. We enjoy being able to getting out in our kayaks first thing in the morning. The lake front has a nice sand bottom. The lake is very quiet, rarely do you see a power boat.
We all really enjoyed the location and the house. Lake was amazing, bike trail was great, backyard and firepit too. We got canoe and paddle board delivered (so that was an expense - would be nicer if owner would just buy and keep at the house), heat/AC and hot water worked great, we used the grill too. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Enough towels for all of us too. Washer not usable due to septic issue so we avoided that even though owner had OKed using it for one load. Overall the whole experience exceeded all our expectations! Thanks Kathi.
We absolutely love spending time here away from our busy lives. The house is spacious and the lake is just the right size to paddle around and soak in the sun and views
