Chic Flat in Kentish Town, 5min to Hampstead Heath

Welcome to my chic, large self contained studio flat in one of London's most desirable locations.

It is a first floor flat (second floor US), quiet, bright, modern, fully-equipped and well-presented, making it suitable for both short and longer term stays.

The flat has light, maple wooden floor in the living areas and large sash windows giving it lots of light. There’s a double bed and a large wardrobe. The look of flat is modern, uncluttered and stylish. There are three leather dining chairs, dining table and TV table and computer desk. The kitchen is separate, fully fitted and well equipped with everything you might need to cook during your stay. A washing machine/tumble dryer is also available in the flat for your use, as is high speed wi-fi internet. All bed linens and towels are provided.

I will be in the local area during your visit so I am happy to interact and provide any information you may require so that you can relax and enjoy your time in London.

The flat benefits from superb transport facilities beginning with a bus stop to the City and the West End outside the front door. We are just 5 minutes' walk from Kentish Town Underground and Gospel Oak Overground stations, and a couple of stops away to the main and international railway lines, Euston and Kings Cross St Pancras for Eurostar.

For leisure time, the iconic Parliament Hill lookout, with its magnificent London views, leading to Hampstead Heath is a gentle stroll away. There are fine bars and restaurants galore in Kentish Town and in nearby Highgate, starting with the local, Vine and the popular family-run Rosella restaurant across the street.

This is a stellar find for solo travelers in London! The space looks exactly like the photos. Dee was a warm, enthusiastic, and responsive host. I love that she met me for check in and ran through all the details of what I would need to know for my stay. I can't underscore how EASY it is to navigate London from this flat: the 88 bus stop is literally outside the front door and will take you all the way down to Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circus—any of the main tourist areas! And the Kentish Town tube stop is nearby as well. I have never had as pleasant of a VRBO stay as this one. I will consider Dee's property as my "home base" for any trips I take to London.

I use this flat as reglarly as I can get a booking whenever visting London. Quiet, well designed and close to tranport and delightful walks on Hampstead Heath.

Light, practical and very clean flat on first floor. Very comfortable double bed. Nice bathroom and kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine. Lots of nice touches like fresh flowers, fruit, coffee, milk and biscuits. Nice Italian restaurant across the road and small convenience store and supermarket around the corner. Within walking distance of Hampstead Heath with Lido and swimming lakes. Very lovely and responsive host. Thank you for a love stay!

Nice studio with great location

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a short walk to the National line which had easy connections to the rest of London. I felt safe walking back from station at night.The studio was the perfect size for a solo traveler. The bed was comfy and the unit was spotless.

Wonderful stay

We had a perfect stay while visiting family in the area. The flat is peaceful, clean, and quiet, in a great neighborhood. Dee is an excellent host who has thought of everything for a perfect stay - adding kind touches such as coffee and fresh fruit upon arrival. The decor is lovely with beautiful art. We look forward to returning!

Fantastic Location With Home Comfort

This had to have been one of the comfiest places I have ever stayed. The huge windows let in lots of light, the shower and bath were hot and very clean, and the bed was so so comfortable. The open area in the living space was great for morning stretches, and the kitchen had everything I needed. There was a pharmacy across the street, and a green grocer nearby, with lots of restaurants as well. There’s a beautiful park nearby and the walk from the train station was easy, even with a suitcase. I was a little sad to leave honestly.

Kentish Town Studio Flat

A Wonderful Stay

This flat is clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for anyone wanting a location out of the “hustle and bustle” of central London, but still close enough to be readily accessible. The neighborhood was very quiet, with a great mix of coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and markets. Hempstead Heath is a stone’s throw away, and access to the Tube is but a short walk. And, there is a bus stop right out front - so convenient. The flat was very adequate for 2 people, but might feel a little crowded if you had more people. We would stay again in a heartbeat. It was a perfect “home away from home” during our 2 weeks in London. In addition, Dee was a superb host. The kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit upon arrival. I had a momentary issue with the WiFi, but Dee resolved it quickly. Stay at Dee’s flat - you won’t regret it!

Marvelous flat!

Dee is an amazing host and her flat is exactly as it appears in the photos! She extended SUCH a warm welcome to me and was always punctual in replying to any inquiries I had during my stay. The flat is so pretty, CLEAN, spacious, and perfectly positioned across the street from a pharmacy, a Londis supermarket, and Rossella's Italian restaurant--the food there was delicious and the staff provided warm customer service. Thus, I LITERALLY did not need to venture anywhere else for supplies/personal needs. Dee's personal touches in the flat are so thoughtful: from the fully stocked kitchen, fruit basket, milk and juice in the fridge, extra toilet paper and paper towels in the closets, washing machine/dryer, electric converter plug (for us U.S. folks) and even a luggage stand...she's thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay (long or short) comfortable...I'm so grateful for her level of attention to detail and her warmth! The bathroom/shower is always the decider for me when I book rentals...and this one is the BEST I've ever booked!

Lovely studio

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, well-maintained crisp studio. Lots of natural light floods the apartment through large windows supplemented with good lighting and good ventilation. Communication was excellent and check-in was seamless. Fresh flowers on the table and fresh fruit were appreciated bonuses.

Great London flat

This place was clean, in a central location, had everything we could need, and an amazing host. This location is my favourite area of London as it is more quiet then central, but can also get to central London in no time at all. There is a bus that is is 24 hours and goes right to Camden and central London. The place itself was well equipped for our stay if two weeks, and was nicely renovated and clean. The host herself was lovely, and accommodated all our of needs. My only wish is that I was able to stay longer.

Great spot for a short stay in London

With a bus that takes you right into the center of London right outside the door, this flat doesn’t get much better for convenience. The neighborhood is also great with good coffee/ places to eat nearby and a vibrant community. The flat was lovely, Dorota’s communication was clear and helpful. She met us personally which was a nice way to arrive in a new city on the other side of the world! Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Stay in London

We stayed in the flat for a week visiting London. The place was perfect for two people and we found everything we needed and more. There is a bus stop in front of the house and we took the bus every day to go to the center. Dee gave us excellent suggestions as to where to eat and what to visit. I would highly recommend the place: great location, very clean, very well equipped and a great host.

A bright, well located comfortable flat

This was my third stay in this flat. It is sunny, very well designed, and the location is excellent for transport. The proximity of Hampstead Heath is a major bonus.

I liked that the kitchen had spices, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, cereal, coffee, etc., and that the refrigerator came stocked with milk, OJ and several other essentials. You did not need to go shopping immediately.

Great flat in a terrific neighborhood

Nothing but positives to say about this experience. Dee was extremely helpful throughout the process sharing transportation tips and neighborhood restaurants. We loved the location in Kentish Town- far enough away from the heart of downtown to avoid the coronation crowds but still easy access via a short walk to the Underground. Very comfortable flat- felt like home within a day. Highly recommend.

Great place!

Very convenient place for people who want to serv themselves by making food, loundry etc. Nice neighborhood, easy to get to with public transport, lots of shops around to buy supplies, nice big park in few minutes walk. Clean and quiet apartment, well equipped kitchen, natural light. Attentive hostess (also very nice person), very easy to communicate with. We had a great time there!

Wonderful flat

Great little flat, comfortable, very clean, cozy. Super helpful and thoughtful host. Flat was stocked with food on arrival (huge bowl of fruit, milk and juice, etc). Convenient location with short walk to tube. Highly recommend.

Amazing host

We had a lovely stay in Kentish Town. The host kept checking in with us to make sure we were comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Our favourite breakfast spot was the Saint Espresso Cafe, and it's a quick one stop to Camden Town.
