About Dean and Cathy Chenault
Greetings! We are Dean and Cathy Chenault, the blessed owners of Bay Views, on the quaint island village of Gwynn. We both grew up in Virginia and currently reside in Powhatan where we operate an adult home for the elderly. Cathy is a RN graduate from MCV. Dean graduated from Vanguard University in SoCal with a degree in business and manages the affairs for our business and home.
Dean and Cathy Chenault purchased this House in 2012
Why Dean and Cathy Chenault chose Piankatank
We sailed our Gloucester 19 with our sons and dog for years at Queen's Creek Marina on the Piankatank River. We always dreamed of owning a piece of island life for ourselves and just made it happen in 2012. Little did we realize, Dean's childhood friend purchased his home around the corner that same month! Great minds!
What makes this House unique
We fell in love with our island home upon entering the front door the first time. Water views were everywhere you looked. We love the corner property and the second story deck for observing water life, enjoying a meal, or relaxing in the sun. The propane fireplace on the sun room is great for cool evenings or throw wide the glass doors for that island breeze and to hear the waves lapping the shore. It is like stepping back in time to a quieter small town lifestyle. Your cares lift and your stress melts away.
