This spacious 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home sleeps 10 guests and blends elegant design with indoor-outdoor living, featuring a private pool and spa, granite countertops, travertine floors, and stainless steel appliances throughout.

The heart of the home opens completely to the outdoors with 6-panel recessed sliding glass doors that disappear into the walls, creating a seamless connection between the living area, patio, and pool deck. Whether you're gathering with friends, enjoying a family vacation, or relaxing with a sunset cocktail, the home was designed to bring everyone together while still offering plenty of space to unwind.

The home offers 2,600 square feet of comfortable living space. There are 2 spacious master suites with king beds, 2 additional bedrooms with king beds and a shared oversized bathroom, and a fun kids’ room with a twin bed and trundle. Covered outdoor patios provide shaded lounge areas perfect for morning coffee or evening dinners by the pool.

The beach is about a 12-minute walk, where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, and long walks along the sand. Famous Zippers Surf Break and beachfront restaurant is about a 15-minute walk, and world-class golf, deep-sea fishing, and snorkeling are all within minutes.

You'll also be within walking distance to 10 restaurants, including 3 beachfront options. Grocery shopping at Mega is about 1.5 miles away, making it easy to stock the kitchen during your stay. The One&Only Palmilla resort is also about 1.5 miles away for additional dining options.

Located in La Jolla Residential, a 24-hour gated private community, the home offers both privacy and convenience along the beautiful Cabo corridor. Guests also have access to 1 private tennis court and 2 pickleball courts within the community. It’s just 12 easy miles from the airport, 5 minutes to San José del Cabo, and about 15 miles to Cabo San Lucas.

Fun in the Sun

Chris was amazing to help us with a stressful situation of having prior accommodations cancelled on us 4 days prior to our arrival. Chris really stepped up and Irma was amazing and was available for anything needed. We were pretty simple and didn’t need much but she was always just a call away and responded immediately. The house and accommodations were great in an beautiful gated neighborhood with the ocean and beach just across the street.

Fantastic property

It is hard to find a home with 4 bedrooms all with king size beds. Perfect for adult couples or family. Beautiful, large patio area with pool, hot tub, lounge chairs for 6 as well as outdoor table with six chairs and additional chairs on upper patio. Very nice landscaping and private, enclosed area. Open kitchen, dining and living area with full view of patio area. Would highly recommend. Very nice neighborhood, gated. Host and property manager were very prompt and gracious in answering any questions.

Lovely San Jose del Cabo

The house was lovely and easily accommodated our initial 7 people. It was well-equipped and Irma was a great housekeeper. There were a few initial blips, but they were dealt with in a timely manner. More info on communications would have been helpful; we did not know how to make our phones work on the Mexican system. We were not informed that the water system was purified and didn’t find out until half way through our three week stay. We thank Chris Tooker for allowing us to stay in his beautiful house.

Fabulous Casa with an incredible indoor/outdoor space!

The Casa is really amazing. We actually rented both the Villa (right next door) and the Casa for my 30th birthday party. The house looks brand new. Has a very private feeling back area with a pool and hottub. But the best part of it is the sliding doors between the living room and the back patio area. You can slide the sliders entirely open so that one space flows into the other! As I wrote in my review of the Villa, we had a great time on our trip, and the houses were certainly a big part of that. We got to meet the owner at one point and he was very friendly. His only mission seemed to be to make sure we were having a fun time!

Best VRBO stay

My wife and I rented both the villa and casa for our wedding in Cabo a few weeks ago. I don't even know where to begin. Chris, the owner, sent us a ton of information before checking in about the house, transportation, additional services, restaurants, etc. He was also extremely easy to contact throughout the trip if we needed anything. His house manager, Irma, was there to greet us and show us around both properties. In addition to managing the properties, she is also available to do group dinners. We hired her for multiple dinners and the food was amazing and so fresh, not to mention how sweet Irma and her daughter were. The properties are in a gated neighborhood and we took walks every morning. Everyone that stayed with us felt safe and well cared for the whole time. The Casa definitely has more of a family feel to it. It has large bedrooms and comes well equipped with everything that you may need during your stay. We used the primary bathroom as a bridal getting ready space and it was perfect! I can not recommend these properties enough. Chris and Irma go above and beyond to make you feel like family. I will definitely stay at one of his properties if I am ever in the area again.

Lovely House and Atmosphere

Went with some of my friends from college, we are all in our mid 20s, and we had a blast! It couldn’t find an address to put in google maps but the property manager helped us navigate to the property! Very nice walk down the hill to the beach although it took us a couple tries to find the actual beach entrance that didn’t cut through a hotel. Great location to see both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The property manager was responsive and assistive to us.

Wonderful Rental near Cabo

I rented both the main and adjoining houses with a group of friends in early-May 2015. I would highly recommend these properties - both of them were amazing! Cabo del Sol is beautiful and the landscaping is really well done, which is a great touch with the outdoor pool and hot tub. The house comes fully equipped with everything you could need to cook at home, take to the beach and have a great time in general. Also, it was very well situated in terms of access to/from the airport and only about 20 minutes into downtown Cabo. Lori is wonderful - very responsive and accommodating. Definitely an overall five-star experience!

Absolutely perfect!

I would give Casa del Sol 10 stars if I could! I have stayed at VRBO properties all over the world, and this one was by far one of the nicest I have ever seen. We thought it would be great based on the other glowing reviews, but truly it exceeded our wildest expectations. Because I don't think the pictures here fully do justice to this gorgeous house, let me elaborate on a few of the things about the casa: 1) The Casita (one of the bedrooms with a king sized bed and private bath) is actually not attached by any walls to the main house - making it incredibly perfect for anyone in your party who has a young baby who might cry at night (that would be me!) and doesn't want to disturb the rest of the group. 2) The "kids room" - hard to tell how cute it is from the pictures, but this 5th small bedroom is actually an awesome addition - it has its own private bathroom and has either a twin bed or a twin and trundle that pulls out to make a another twin. It's super cozy and would be great for anyone in the group (teen or single person) that wanted a little private sleep nest with ensuite bathroom a bit set apart from the rest of the bedrooms. 3) The pool and hot tub are incredible! I wish I was there now! We were in the hot tub for hours every day with the kids, and we were able to set the temperature so that it was warm, rather than truly hot, which made it ideal for jumping between the cool pool (not too cold) and the warm tub. Paradise! It also has a spacious well-designed entry step area where a baby or toddler can sit safely and splash (for hours!) 4) The neighborhood - very safe, very quiet, absolutely lovely - paved sidewalks (easy to walk with stroller) - no loud music, no roosters - we've done a lot of traveling in authentic Mexican towns, which we love, but when sleep is important, quiet peaceful starry nights are PRICELESS! 5) Countless little homey helpful touches - plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, fully stocked kitchen, etc. made our vacation so EASY! Thank you so SO much to Lori and Chris the owners who were very, very responsive, helped with all our questions and made this vacation a lifelong memory!

Beautiful Vacation Home!

We loved our stay here! We originally booked a hotel for friends and family for their stay in Cabo for our destination wedding but due to the hurricane, we were left hanging about whether our hotel would open in time. After a quick search on VRBO, I came across this casa and the other villa owned by Lori and Chris. I reached out to Lori, and after an immediate reply, we decided this place would be perfect for our wedding weekend! This house is gorgeous! My friends and I kept wishing we actually owned a house like this, it was so awesome. The house is one story, with a large open concept living room with fully retractable glass doors for an indoor-outdoor feel to the pool area, a large kitchen with a bar, dining table, laundry room with attached "maid's suite" with it's own attached bathroom, and two other bedrooms with an attached bath and a very large master with a beautiful bathroom and super large walk in closet. There was also a 1/2 bath at the entrance and lastly, a nice sized guest house with an attached bathroom. We had 8 people and never once felt crowded or like we were walking all over each other. The pool and spa are also really nice and most of us took naps poolside during the day. For us, the bride and groom, the master was a welcome escape and also provided a large enough space for hair and makeup the day of the wedding. Our last night alone in this house, was truly peaceful and just what we needed to end our wedding weekend. Also, the house is located in what I would consider the "Beverly Hills" of Cabo/San Jose and felt extremely safe. The location is also super close to Mega and the airport, making pickup and drop off's a breeze. Lastly, I can't thank Lori and Chris enough for their generosity and friendliness. I've never rented a vacation home from a nicer family. They really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and answered all of our questions QUICKLY. Their property manager Manuel, is also wonderful and helped make sure our stay was perfect. If you're looking for a house in San Jose/Cabo, don't pass this one up!

Amazing!

I was absolutely speechless when we first arrived. This house is so beautiful and had more than I could have ever imagined. We stayed here with my family and my husbands family for our one year anniversary. I am so thankful for the Tookers, they really made it such an easy and wonderful vacation for us. Check in and check out were very smooth, they set up everything around you're arrival. If we had any questions we just gave the property manager a call and he got back to us immediately. The house is wonderful and the living area opens up to the pool, it was absolutely perfect for our anniversary dinner. The house is fairly central to everything. Close to downtown, to the beaches and just hop onto the highway to get to Cabo San Lucas if you'd like. Easy easy easy! We know where we will stay or recommend if we go back hands down!!!

Your very own piece of paradise

From the first moment we contacted Lori, our experience was very well planned out and easy!! The house is amazing!!! We arranged for Manuel, the house manager, to stock the kitchen with groceries we requested from Mega. Amenities were all there! Washer and Dryer with soap and dryer sheets, a major win with two small children. Piped in music to the patio, pool area and WiFi, another big win. You didn't even need to leave the house! Restaurants in San Jose, the old town, were great and easy to get to with a car or without!! Beautiful beach just a short walk down the hill as well!! Also, If you don't care for hotels/resorts then this is the place for you. If you are over the screaming kids, the even louder spring breakers, then look no further than this place-- it's your very own little piece of paradise. The trip was very relaxed and baby friendly and can not wait to go back!!!!!

An oasis in Cabos

We just came back from a week's stay at the Tooker Casa Del Sol. I will start off by saying that Lori,the owner, was very patient and responsive to all my questions prior to getting there. She sent me a very detailed list of recommendations ranging from shopping to restaurants to beaches and activities. We used that list quite extensively and found that all the information was spot on and helpful. When we arrived, the manager, Manuel, met us at the house and gave us a tour of the place. Also, some chips & salsa and beer were waiting for us as a welcome gift from the owner, which was a nice touch. Lori's husband Chris was also in town during the first few days of our trip and he was also very friendly and helpful. The house was just like the pictures. Everything was well appointed and well kept. I think everyone's favorite hang out spot is the backyard. The spa was huge! We can pipe music out onto the patio from the sound system in the house. The adults sat and chat while the kids played in the pool. The neighborhood is very safe with a security gate. The beach is a comfortable walk from the house and the Bel Air hotel at the bottom of the hill is a nice spot for breakfast/brunch. We saw whales while enjoying huevo ranchero and green juice (jugo verde). Can't get better than that. One of the highlights of the trip was having a chef and her assistant come to cook us an authentic Mexican dinner. They were recommended by Manuel and we enjoyed it so much we had them come back to cook for us one more time before we left. They make killer margaritas and salsa. We had to stop eating the chips so there's room for dinner. Oh yes, the flan was quite amazing as well. Manuel was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. While the happening place is downtown Los Cabo, which is about 30-40 min away, we actually enjoyed the less crowded downtown in San Jose more. It's very quaint and much less touristy. Also, it is only about 15 minutes away. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this house to others.

Great for families.

We had a wonderful time at the house. The house was perfect for our large family. We just sat by the pool and relaxed. It would be nice to have some working beach chairs to take to the beach but other than that, no complaints. We loved the town of San Jose del Cabo. The bedrooms were great and the master suite was delightful with the breeze blowing in. The cleanliness was outstanding and service was prompt and efficient. We didn't have a meal we didn't like. It was just what we were looking for.

Great Time in San Jose del Cabo

Our extended family (7) had a wonderfuyl time, the property is very comfortable and safe. It is located in a very well maintained gated communit . We were five minutes stroll from beautiful beaches on the sea of Cortez and all amenities are within a few minutes cab ride. There are very good restaurants in San Jose and for those interested in fishing the only word to describe the experience is awesome. I would advise fishing from San Jose Playita rather than Cabo San Lucas as that is the Pacific side and can be a little rough, but the whale watching is great. We shall be returning a longer period. I simply can't say enough good things about our holiday. All of our travels entails VRBO rentals and this was by far the best.

Awesome Retreat

My husband and I and two of our daughters, a granddaughter and other family stayed at the Tooker Villa and what a wonderful surprise. We have stayed in the area several times, however, this home is by far the best. We had everything we needed (and more), the owners provided us with great recommendations for dining, activities, etc. The neighborhood is very safe, the security wonderful, and it exceeded our expectations. The pool and hottub were great, the location is close to everything you could possibly need. We will definetly recommend this home to other family and friends and look forward to another stay at either the villa or casa. Thank you Lori, you are wonderful and so very accomodating.

Jane(wedding in Cabo)

We rented both beautiful villas for a week. Our group was grandparents, the parents and grandkids. We needed lots of room and the villas supplied it. The homes are beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the grandkids were safe to walk to beach or supermarket. Beautiful sunsets from back of one villa and beautiful sunrises from front of other villa. We rented cars for the week and it was easy to get around. We rode horseback, we went on a dinner/dance cruise, snorkeling, and the men caught tuna for a cookout around the pool, but most of all we were able to take our large family to our oldest son's wedding! Our villas were as luxurious as the wedding hotel, (Lori has listed it as a favorite resturant with beach access.) The villas are well maintained, all linens, cookware, laundry and in-house water purification are all provided at a fantastic price! We give it an excellent rating, we would come back again. We recomend the Tooker Villas!!

Beautiful, Luxurious Home!

Our party consisted of 3 couples and after already spending 4 days in Los Barilles, we finished our vacation at the Villa! Wow! What a dramatic impact when you walk in the front door! It is absolutely breathtaking and spacious with very beautiful high-end furniture & finishes. I was already familiar with the neighborhood, so I knew we were in a great location to the beach, town, shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood is also guard-gated, so it is private and secure. We spent most of our evenings cooking in with the beautiful mood lighting around the pool/yard and soft music throughout because the entire back of the house opens up to the patio/pool, which was such a treat. In fact, every meal was eaten outdoors around the pool. Every couple had privacy and luxury. Every detail had been thought out carefully by the owners. And, Lori, the owner, has a very nice property manager who is very accommodating. It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Very hard to go back home! Thank you!

Relaxing and beautiful place in Cabo

From the moment I walked through the front door of this villa in Cabo, I was in heaven. I love all things Cabo, but I'm a bit of a high maintenance person when it comes to comfort on vacation, and this place met my expectations. I walked from room to room, and was amazed at how nice everything was furnished and decorated. The kitchen is so beautifully done (even had granite counter tops!), I would love to have it in my home. Then you throw open all the doors to the patio/pool area, and bring the tropical outdoors right into the living and dining rooms. Once I got past the initial tour, it took me just a few minutes to jump into my bathing suit and fall into the pool. Talk about relaxing! It was so peaceful - yet when we wanted to liven it up we just turned on the stereo system. The sleeping accomodations were abundant - the master bedroom is spacious with its walk in closet and cool shower, but I really enjoyed the privacy of the casita with its private bathroom. It was just steps from the pool. Lori Tooker was kind enough to recommend the best stores for groceries, and of course, plenty of restaurants. We didn't get to all of them, but the ones we did try were great. We drove into Cabo several nights and thoroughly enjoyed strolling on the Marina and dining at Solomon's Landing. Drinks at The Palmia was an experience never to be forgotten, yet one of our favorites for casual dining was a short walk down the beach to Zippers. And who'd have thought we'd find a great Italian restaurant only a short walk in the other direction! There's so much to do in Cabo, one never gets bored. I highly recommend this villa to my friends that are considering coming to Cabo - if they truly want to enjoy the fun and sun, AND have a fabulous place to come back to - or simply party at! It's got it all!!!

Summer Fun

My husband and I took our college age kids and 3 of their friends to this villa in June for a summer vacation. We walked in and were blown away buy how spacious and updated it was. The boys claimed the pool suite and the 3 girls took the 2 back BIG bedrooms while my husband and I had the master bedroom. The rooms were awesome and there is no way you could ever fill up the closets! They are huge. The bathroom were all walk-in, modern and have great shower heads! (super nice touch) The bed and pillows were more comfortable than home!!!! Flat screens in every room, satellite tv, wireless internet, free phone to the states. What more could you ask for? Plenty of lounge chairs, tables, pool, Jacuzzi, big barbecue that looked like it had never been used. If we had never left the property we would have been happy, but we were hooked up by the property manager with some great attractions. The sunset cruise was our favorite. The beach in front of the Hilton hotel was our favorite. Nearly empty...you could shoot a Corona Beer commercial there! The manager also arranged a dinner to be prepared in the house one night. We were in the most awesome food coma all night! The grocery store was convenient, large and clean. The restaurant recommendations were all great. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

My wife and I purchased/built our second villa right next door to our first 5 bedroom villa because we often had guests ask us if we had another villa because they had a large group. We live full-time in Foothill Ranch, California (Orange County) and have been going to Cabo regularly for 13 years. Why they chose this property

We always wanted to have a vacation home where we could build family memories - one trip to Cabo 13 years ago and we knew this was the place for us. Beautiful weather, beaches, wonderful restaurants, fishing and golf courses. Cabo is just a diamond in the rough and unlike other Mexico resort locations and everyone that travels here gets the 'Cabo Bug'.

What makes this property unique

Our villa offers indoor/outdoor living and with both villas, the ability to sleep 20 guests. Each villa also has its own private pool/spa, but also the unique ability to be right next door.
