Welcome to Casa Daphne, a spacious one bedroom, two full bathroom condo that is in the much sought after Selva Romantica development in the heart of Old Town, Puerto Vallarta. Also known as the Zona Romantica and just steps away from Olas Altas and Basilio Badillo street where you will find numerous cafes, restaurants and the famous Los Muertos Beach. All within a three-minute walk from your home.
This tastefully decorated condo features a master suite with a king size bed and ensuite bath. Both the bedroom and living room have mini split air conditioning, a TV with Cable and a DVD Player. Both rooms open onto a beautiful open air relaxing balcony where you can dine, entertain or just read an enjoyable book.
The Selva Romantica development features one of Puerto Vallarta's greatest infinity pools with views of the city and partial bay. There is also an adequate gym on the property to keep up with your workouts.
This unit also features a Telmex phone for unlimited local and international calling. A washer and dryer is available for your convenience as well as a fully equipped kitchen including a disposal and dishwasher.
Please Note: This unit does not have an elevator and there are several stairs to access the unit. Some furnishings and textiles have changed (new) from the pictures posted and as well the city view is not confirmed given the construction as noted below.
Puerto Vallarta has become a very popular tourist destination that is now experiencing more than average increase in construction sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more than 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and various parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.
Check-In and Check-Out
The normal check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m. Our concierge will meet you at the property, give you one set of keys and inspect the property with you to assure that all is well. If you will need more than one set of keys or if you need a special check-in or check-out time please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
In the event that your check in to the property is after 8:00 p.m. or check out from the property is before 8:00 a.m. you will be subject to a $20.00 USD (twenty) fee which must be paid to our Concierge upon arrival or departure.
In the event that your check in to the property is after 11:00 p.m. or check out from the property is before 6:00 a.m. you will be subject to a $40.00 USD (forty) fee which must be paid to our Concierge upon arrival or departure.
Be advised that this private property does not have 24-hour staff and therefore we are unable to provide check in or out services between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Please make your arrangements according to this policy.
Our Concierge team must attend other check in's/out's and therefore it's extremely important for you to be punctual for the scheduled check in/out times. If you are delayed more than 30 minutes of the stipulated time you will be subject to a $20.00 USD (twenty) fee which must be paid to our Concierge upon arrival or departure.
Reservations cancelled more than 60 days before the arrival date will receive an 100% refund of the initial deposit. All cancellations less than 60 days before the arrival date will not receive a refund unless we are able to re-rent the unit. Forfeited deposits will be refunded in an amount equal to that re-rental, not to exceed the amount of the forfeited deposit. In addition, there will be no refunds due to weather, construction, loud neighbors or natural disasters.
• The condo will be clean prior to your arrival and cleaned weekly during your stay. Additional cleaning may be arranged (at your expense) with the concierge for 200 pesos per visit.
• We try to leave adequate paper products and cleaning supplies for your convenience but if they run out, you are responsible for providing your own. You may use whatever condiments and spices that are available in the kitchen.
• There are two beach towels available for your use outside the condo and at least four sets of bath towels for use inside. Please do not take bath towels to the pool or beach.
• Our homeowner’s association requires that no breakable containers be used by the pool (non-breakable beverage containers are provided) and that no clothes or towels be hung from the windows or railings.
• Lost keys mean the locks must be replaced at your expense. Please contact the concierge if keys are lost for a replacement.
• Please minimize your use of the A/C, not leaving it on when you leave, or operating it with doors and windows open.
The property owners will be held harmless for any problems, injuries, loss or damage to the property or to any persons occupying the rental property. Problems relating to construction and construction noises are not controllable by the property owners and we will in no way be held responsible.
Number of Guests
The number of guests shown at the end of the agreement is the maximum allowed to occupy the rental property. If you exceed the max capacity of the unit you will be asked to leave the property immediately without any refund including the security deposit if applicable.
Absolutely NO children allowed on any property unless agreed upon in writing by the owner.
Absolutely NO pets allowed on any property.
Lost and Found
The owners of Los Mangos 5 at Selva Romantica are not responsible for forgotten, lost, damaged or stolen personal items. Should any guest forget or loose personal belongings at a property, and if recovered, the item will be kept in a designated lost and found area for a period of thirty (30) days after the checkout date. We will ship items back at the owner's expense. At the end of thirty (30) days any item not claimed will be donated to a local charity or discarded.
General Rules and Policies
For security reasons and to ensure better coexistence with other owners and guests, we inform you of the following regulations that you and your companion must meet while staying within the facility. You agree to comply fully and failure to do so will result in the staff of these condos and or Palmera Vacations to ask that you leave the facilities without refund.
• Smoking is not permitted inside or outside this unit. A smoking fee of $150.00 USD will be charged for violation of this policy.
• The use or sale of any drug is prohibited.
• No loud music or noise at any time of day within the property or communal areas is allowed.
• The renters are not allowed to receive visitors or guests. (Unless prior written agreement with Palmera Vacations and owner).
• It is not permitted to reserve loungers and pool furniture.
• Any form of exhibitionism including nudity and erotic acts are prohibited in view of other guests and communal areas.
• In case of any situation with other owners, guests or property staff please immediately contact Palmera Vacations as your representative to follow up.
