Excellent condition and location perfect

  • 4 of 5

Wonderful views from unit, nice deck, newer furniture. Great kitchen, counters and cabinets. Nice bathroom, everything is newly remodeled. You can't beat the location, close to Redhook and stores.

I would give it 5 stars, but there was only one thing that wasn't perfect. And if you are familiar with how things work in the islands you will know that finding a good mattress is nearly impossible. This one was hard but not lumpy (thankful) and it laid flat but very hard. (which is better than soft in my book).

Superb location and access to Saphire Bay. Accommodations were updated and very functional & clean

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time and will return in the future. Communication with the owners was timely and we had no issues with anything functionally in the studio. Superb access right on the beach with a view from the second floor deck which overlooks the pool. Security to the complex was good and security personnel were apparent daily when they checked the pool regularly to insure that only registered guests were using the facility.

Sapphire Beach, Condo are both spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

Our winter get-a-way to Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas was our first, and will definitely NOT be the last. My husband and I spent 10 nights at the condo and cannot say one negative. The owners John and Sally are very friendly and accommodating and their cleaning lady (Michelle if I recall correctly) is always available if needed. The view is spectacular. We loved being so close to Red Hook town with the more intimate vibe than downtown Charlotte Amalie. We took a few day trips over to St. Johns, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda(if you go to Virgin Gorda, swimming in the baths/cave is a must). Only negative if you go to Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda are part of the BVI's so you don't get much time there having to go through customs. I could go on and on of how much we enjoyed St. Thomas and this Sapphire Beach Condo, but you'll just have to go and check it out for yourself. You can be sure we will be back.

Enjoy your trip,

J & J

Beautiful view, quiet beach, and clean/updated condo!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriends and I had a lovely week at Sapphire Beach - the beach is quiet and the water is calm/clear! We liked that this location was somewhat removed from the road and that we could venture out to Red Hook for restaurants at night, but still feel like we were in a little tropical oasis when we returned to the condo! We used the beach bar/grill for lunch during the day - they deliver to your lounge chair as well! We also enjoyed going to Slice at the condo complex next door (short walk over to marina and up the road!). They had a full bar and pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc. The condo was clean - we especially appreciated the updated bathroom/shower after a long day at the beach! Patio is great for morning coffee or evening drinks. John was very responsive to any questions we had - thank you!

Wonderful trip!!

  • 5 of 5

What a great trip! John’s condo is amazing. Everything was so new and clean and the views are spectacular! We really enjoyed our time there. We had no issues with the condo whatsoever. The kitchen was fully stocked. We went to the Food Center to pick up some groceries and made breakfast every morning. There’s no better way to have breakfast than sitting on a balcony with a beautiful view!

The resort itself is very nice. There was little bit of construction in the parking lot but it didn’t bother us at all. The beach is wonderful. Unfortunately, we were never able to go snorkeling but I heard that it was amazing. John has snorkeling equipment in the condo and we planned on using it, but the time just got away from us. (Next time we will!) There’s a little full service beach bar there that also serves burgers and dogs. They also have live music, which was a lot of fun. They do stop serving food at 5 and close at 6. Having the beach bar there was a huge plus for us. Otherwise, there were really no restaurants around. There’s a small restaurant up the hill called Slice that serves mostly pizzas. They also have a full-service bar.

We rented a car, which we were very happy we did. We got to see a lot of the island. We went to Coki Beach and Megan’s Bay, but Sapphire Beach is just as wonderful as they are. We got used to driving on the left side. A couple of times we did take a taxi at night to go in Red Hook for dinner. Red Hook is minutes away and $4 per person. The taxi stand is right by Building A and there was always at least one taxi there. There's also a marina there, which is very convenient if you want to rent a boat, go on a sunset cruise, or take a snorkeling excursion. We took advantage of it and went island hopping to the BVIs one day.

Overall this was a wonderful trip! We enjoyed it so much, we will be coming back. There's so much to do around here, or you could do nothing at all and just enjoy relaxing. My husband loved it better than Aruba and that’s saying a lot!! John was a very gracious host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Everything went so smoothly. There’s no doubt in my mind that I want to become a regular guest at this condo!
