Please have your trash and recyclables out by Tuesday night by the curb. Garbage Collection will be by Wednesday morning to collect.
Non aggressive Small/Medium dogs allowed with nonrefundable $100.00 pet fee. We will charge $500.00 if you bring a pet and do not inform us.
Pool temperature is between 83-86 degrees . We'll charge $100 fee for warmer temp. Respect neighbors and keep outside sounds after 10 pm to a min.

Great location! Quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy. Added plus to have access to the garage which was great for storing our bikes. Beach chairs and toys also provided. The pool was very warm and not at extra cost (unlike many other rentals). Close to the beach, Legacy Trail and Myakka state park. Walking distance to shopping area with a Publix. Sunrises on Siesta was only a ten minute drive in the morning. Also close to Turtle beach which was our preferred sunset viewing (not busy and much less traffic going to Turtle). Layout of the house is great with the primary bedroom off by itself. Great kitchen with plenty of space. We did have an issue related to the record freezing temperatures in February and I cannot say enough about the attentiveness of the host. She answered our call immediately and even came over to see what was happening. She got the issue addressed and made sure that we were happy and all needs met. I have never had that experience at any of our multiple rentals, ever!! Truly exceptional service! Thank you Larissa

Enjoyable quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. Perfect place to relax after a week at Disney parks. The private pool was the best amenity. No laundry soap provided so bring own. Great place

Perfect vacation

We enoyed staying at this house. The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked for our stay. Even with spring break traffic, Siesta Key beach was only a 15 minute drive. My only (very small) complaint, is that the patio around the pool is not large enough for reclining beach chairs to soak up the Florida sun. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

This was our first stay at VRBO listing. The neighborhood was very quiet with little traffic which was great to walk our dogs. Home appears as shown on listing. The property manager was very prompt in answering our messages. We had a very nice stay in Gulf Gates! Very convenient location!

The house was very nice! It seemed like everything was recently updated and the kitchen was easy to cook in. We enjoyed sitting around the screened-in pool where we also took advantage of the barbeque. It was an easy walk to the grocery store and a very short drive to the beach or shopping. We stayed a full week and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Larisa answered all questions quickly and was very accommodating.

Nice house and good location

A nice house and a very attentive house manager, we had a few hiccups initially but they were taken care of fast and efficiently. Overall a pleasant experience for my wife and I but the house could use an upgrade or two for the price of the rental. We would return again since the location is wonderful and the house is sound.

Great spot for a family

The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. It was also a great location being close to a grocery store and also a short drive to Siesta Key and the beach! My only complaint was the pool area was not the cleanest and wasn't taken care of that well. But we didn't use the pool much so it wasn't a big issue. Otherwise the place was wonderful!

Clean and comfortable

My small family and I stayed for 4 nights. The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked and there was plenty of room for our larger family BBQ. The pool was the highlight, we loved lounging in it at night protected from the bugs. I have a couple of suggestions for the host; repair the pool light, clean the grill and checkin with guests about their stay. A small amount of attention would have been appreciated. Other than those small issues it was a good stay.

Dirty pool

Not clean. Pool was very dirty and we never saw a pool person come by to clean it. Also no railing in the pool to help get out therefore my husband fell. Ants all over the kitchen. No place to put your shampoo and soap in the shower. No shelf, no rack. I have rented better.

Pool was dirty. Pool company came and only threw chemicals in. Screen in lanai was torn and could allow large animals or person into area. Refrigerator water filter needed replaced as replace light was on. As expected, water had a bad flavor. Ice maker didn't work either. Master bedroom bed seemed to tilt down at head end of bed. We propped it up by folding rugs and putting under legs. Mattress was okay. Other than these things, house was very nice. Loved ceramic tiles in bathrooms. Would rent again hoping these minor issues are taken care of.
