We really enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and serene even with Potomac Road. The only thing I would say is it is not handicap accessible, the stairway is long and steep, but if that doesn’t bother you you will enjoy this gem.
The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped. Owners are especially nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The apartment itself is very cute and quaint. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t sleep real well however because the roof must be made of loose steel plates because both nights we were there the roaring wind going across the roof made a lot of noise and woke me up multiple times, hopefully it won’t be like that most nights and patient people will be able to enjoy the space
Comfortable, VERY nice place. Peaceful, beautiful scenic location!! Thank you.

Perfect Little Apartment
I was visiting family for the weekend and needed to be back and forth between Monterey and Franklin. This place was great as it was in between both. The apartment is very unique with hand built bunk beds and a great front balcony! We loved it and plan to come back!

We had an excellent stay!!! Very comfortable, warm and cozy, more than plenty of room. Big comfortable couches and bed comfortable too. Great view out back and out front from upper level porch. Nice kitchen with everything we needed.
Wonderful gift shop below with local artisan crafts, honey, soaps, gifts, local meat and eggs. A fun location between Monterey and Blue Grass. Owner was kind, good coomunication and she checked in with us to seecif we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!
Spacious, comfortable, relaxing home away from home
Easy, friendly contact with owner and access to property. Spacious, open plan LR, DR, kitchen. Country decor with lots of natural wood, gas fireplace and tasteful, bright tiles.
HUGE, natural tile tub and shower, great for a relaxing soak!
A thoroughly comfortable and pleasant home away from home.
I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this convenient and comfortable VRBO.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay Charline! Thank you for the kind words regarding our apartment. Looking forward to having you back!
Very cute farmhouse chique apartment that had everything we needed, but it was full of flies. They kept getting in even though I killed them multiple times a day. The shower was too full of them to use. I couldn't leave anything out otherwise they would get on it. Recommend sealing the windows and having fly traps outdoors - would make it a much more enjoyable stay
The location is very convenient and easy to find. There is wifi and some cel signal in an area where service can be spotty. It is secluded and peaceful but not too far from town and supplies. Hosts were very friendly and it is well stocked and comfortable.
This apartment is above a cute store. It has a great layout and is very comfortable. There is a porch swing and you can watch the baby cows frolic. It is an older place with modern conveniences like wifi, Netflix and Amazon Prime. The place is very clean and the owners are very nice and accommodating. I would stay there again.
We planned this getaway to see the amazing dark sky in this area and we were not disappointed. The apartment was lovely and cozy and we enjoyed sitting out on the front deck with the porch swing watching the cows across the street. It was a perfect place for our family to have some wonderful together time, we played games and did puzzles and got lots of reading time. We brought our food but the apartment had everything we needed to cook some amazing meals. We set up our telescope in the back yard and got to see the whirlpool galaxy. The stars and night sky were absolutely amazing!!! Can't wait to come back and do it again!

Property is located in a beautiful area convenient to Monterey, VA and the start of the Mt. Momma Bike Challenge. The proprietors are very nice and friendly. Having coffee in the morning while sitting on the balcony was a joy. The apartment is nice, clean and rustic. Very comfortable. If in the area, I would stay again.
If you like quiet and beautiful scenery, this is the place. We visit the Blue Ridge and the Shannondoah Valley quite often. However the scenery on the way to this property was breathtaking. Not like anything we have seen before. The apartment is upstairs, so it may not be ideal for the "weak kneed" lol! There are windows on every side of the house. We opened them For an awesome breeze. The master bed and pillows very comfortable. I slept through the night. The front porch is awesome to sit and drink your coffee on. We would stay here again.
This apartment is clean, comfortable, rustic, and has the basic necessities. Nothing fancy and just what we wanted.
Owner was very nice, responsive, and answered all questions that we had.
If you want to get away from the city and get away from over commercialization, this apartment and the Highlands area are great. Peaceful relaxing views of mountains, livestock, nature, and country life!

Our stay was very nice. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful! The apartment has windows facing all four cardinal directions and that was really nice! Super comfy couch too, and beautiful wooden furniture. The bath tub truly is a boat. I could lay down in it completely stretched out and I’m five and half feet tall! We plan on coming back!
