Simple Mid-Century Elegance with Private Pool

The home's classic Mid Century post and beam architecture, high ceilings, and numerous windows allow an abundance of natural light into the premises.
Fire up the BBQ for dinner outside. Soak in the above ground hot tub. Enjoy the beautiful and private pool or lounge in one of the many seating areas poolside. Yard is fully fenced, gated and private. Enjoy the mountain view while lounging by the pool and at night you can watch the tram go up the mountain from the back yard.
Gated entryway with off-street parking.
There is a beautiful heart shaped pool in the main yard, which is for the exclusive use of guests. Pool is private. Above ground hot tub is heated year round. Pool can be heated from November 1 to February 28 at an additional cost of $50 per day (minimum of 2 days).

Had a really nice stay! Most importantly, the place was clean. In addition, it was in a good location, the decor was thoughtful, and the bikes were the best. We didn’t swim but did sit outside in the private pool area, which was relaxing.

This rental met all expectations. It was a spacious, clean and tastefully decorated mid-century modern guesthouse with excellent amenities. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic needs, and the bedding was extremely comfortable. The private and beautifully landscaped yard offered several seating areas to enjoy. Also, the property was close to many golf courses, restaurants, stores, and the airport. It was perfect for a couple's getaway. Thanks for hosting us!

This is one of my favorite places to stay. Peaceful, private, roomy, high quality amenities, comfy bed, great shower and the best mid century decor. The downside is the airport and traffic noise. However, the noise ends at night and we were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open. We swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub and loved the mountain views from the backyard garden. Robert honors your privacy yet is available via text when needed.I highly recommend staying at this exceptional vacation home.

I wish the listing was more clear that this is a casita/ADU and not a full house. With that being said, the stay was wonderful: the space was as pictured and the yard/pool was amazing!

We really enjoyed the place. The bottle on wine and chilled glasses was a wonderful touch. The space was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was great. Bathroom was great. Well decorated. The Shag print was fun. My only constructive comment would be that we couldn't find any nighttime pool lights. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice. Thanks for the great place.

Absolutely incredible property! This is everything a vacation rental should be. Clean, private, affordable, with impeccable interior design. It was 110 degrees when we were there but the pool was the perfect temperature with rotating shade throughout the day. I can’t recommend staying here enough!

What a lovely stay in Palm Springs. Well appointed, this place had everything we needed and with style. Chilling poolside, breakfast on the covered terrace, evenings in the jacuzzi, relaxing in the comfortable indoors, short drives to dining, nightlife, hiking…it was all just what we hoped for. Our host was also super responsive and helpful in the few questions we had. We can see there is a lot of love and vision put into this property. We’re definitely coming back

Great private spot for PS getaway

Property was exactly as advertised, and even nicer than expected. Check in process was seamless, and off street parking was a plus. Unit was very private and the pool and related grounds were also private. Kitchen was well stocked and host was super responsive. All around great stay!

Live here with my two Irish Setters. They are very gentle and sweet. They do not have access to any of the guest areas.

Why they chose this property

Guest house was built for Elizabeth Taylor and Eva Gabor that came to visit the second home owner. It is very spacious and has the same Mid-Century Modern architectural style as the main house.
The neighborhood is a time warp from the 1950's and 1960's. It has been beautifully restored.

What makes this property unique

Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking (I had a restaurant so I know what that means). Very spacious property both inside and outside. Private yard with private entrance from the street.
Property is fully fenced and designed to offer you maximum privacy. Enter through an electronic gate and enter your private oasis.
