Tucked away in the heart of Exmoor National Park, Beesknees Cottage is one of two beautifully restored stone cottages at Allercott Farm. Sleeping four guests comfortably, this cosy retreat is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to escape to the countryside.

Inside, the cottage boasts exposed beams and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious double bedroom with a king-size bed overlooking the garden, and a charming twin room, both designed for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, WC, and basin, set beneath the characterful beams. There is also a downstairs WC.

The cottage has a recently renovated modern kitchen, fully equipped with an induction hob, electric cooker, large fridge-freezer, and microwave—perfect for preparing everything from simple breakfasts to a full Sunday roast. The lounge and dining area provide the perfect space to relax after a day exploring the moors.

Outside, your private, enclosed garden offers a peaceful sanctuary. As the evening draws in, light the fire pit, toast marshmallows, and gaze up at Exmoor’s incredible star-filled skies, one of Europe’s designated Dark Sky Reserves.

With stunning walking trails, rugged coastlines, and picturesque villages such as Timberscombe and Dunster right on your doorstep, Beesknees Cottage is the ideal base for an unforgettable Exmoor escape.
