Great property on the beach

We love this place. It’s right on a beautiful bay with a huge pool, several hot tubs and a kid pool with slide. A couple great restaurants are right there by the beach as well. It’s maybe 6 min drive from the airport.

Best way to bring in 30

This was the perfect stay for my 30th birthday. Loved the resort and the close proximity of different restaurants and the amenities. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect for attending market

We were at Las Vegas Market working and this was the perfect place for us, our daughter, and a co worker. The amenities were great and kitchen saved us a ton of money.

Highly recommend.

great resort with lovely pool & location. Many restaurants & Golf courses in immediate vicinity. Resort staff are helpful & pleasant. We opted for the ocean view-parlour unit & it worked out well for us with the kitchenette & We were able to have breakfast & light lunches without having to eat @restraunts all the time. BBQ’s were spotless. The view from the lanai was spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful resort on the beach near many shops and restaurants

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Our VRBO host communicated everything very well and we had a smooth shuttle from the airport and check in. The property is beautiful and clean. My only complaint was housekeeping. They told us when we first arrived that our room would get one tidy when we were there. The day for the tidy came and no one cleaned our room. The following day we went to the from desk and asked that we could get our tidy, we wanted fresh towels and sheets. She said they would send someone up but wouldn’t change the sheets, but they would leave some for us. We got back at 9pm ready for bed and there were new fresh towels but no new sheets, so we had to call and get them to bring sheets and then we had to change them. I would stay here again in a heart beat but that was a disappointment for sure.

Fantastic Resort, Central Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. There are plenty of "Pros" to this unit. There were only two of us, so the single murphy bed was just fine. The kitchenette had a small fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, dishes/silverware, etc and a few other items, which was enough for us to cook up a decent breakfast every morning, and we used the BBQ's which were very close by, to grill dinner a couple times (locally bought Mahi Mahi was a treat). We received maid service at the halfway point of our 7 day stay, so that was good too. The unit was also stocked with dishwasher detergent (used daily) and detergents for laundry. The bathroom felt modern and very clean, which is sort of a big deal for a lot of resorts/hotels in my opinion. They often times feel dated in this area. The murphy bed itself could have used a better mattress. It seemed fine for the first couple nights but after a while did leave our lower backs a bit sore. The TV had access to most internet add-ons that we could log into for free with our own credentials (like netflix, pandora, etc). The back porch our unit had was a catch 22. This unit that we were in had no view at all, (I think this would maybe be called a garden view) however that ended up meaning it had more privacy. so it was sort of nice to not have people walking right by our room, and we were able to enjoy breakfast and coffee on the back porch a few times as we woke up slowly. Being 100% honest, we were only at the unit in the morning for a couple hours waking up, and after the sun had gone down. So it made a great HQ, but we never spent enough time in the actual unit to feel like we missed out due to a lack of ocean view or anything like that. All in all, I give it 5 stars. It's everything That it promised. The pool was beauitful and large. the beach access was just a few steps from the pool. The poolside bar served us from our pool chairs. the little store next to the pool loaned us 4 beach towels that we could swap out as frequently a we wanted for fresh towels. And the location was perfect for us as we could zip 15 minutes into Poipu to the west, or 15 minutes into Kapa'a to the north east. I would definitely recommend this location And I would stay again.

Paradise Vacation

We had a fantastic stay. From check in to check out, everything was GREAT! We enjoyed the property amenities as well as the location. Location made driving easy to reach desired activities on the island. All of the staff were more than helpful and accommodating. The week flew by.

Excellent Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Beach Club. While the studio with a Murphy bed took some getting used to, it is surprisingly very functionable and we would stay there again. Our location in this wonderful property was excellent.

Wonderfilled

Super quick drive from the Lihue airport. The winding, expertly landscaped road, is a fantastic prelude to the picturesque Hawaiian vacation you are about to have. Situated in the nawiliwili Bay made for excellent wind barrier which lead to the best weather we found on the island. Also good for water sports. Check in was a breeze. The room/ amenities and view were perfect and as explained in description. Quick walk to pool, gym, all onsite and off site restaurants. We would stay here again!

Marriott Kauai Beach Resort

Enjoyed the amenities at the resort. Disappointed with the Murphy bed. Would not pay the amount I paid for the "studio" again.

This was one of the best vacations that I have had. The hotel is beautiful and staff was amazing.

This is the spot for people who would rather not be in the city and enjoys nature, beach life, and chickens. Almost all the restaurants we ate at were fabulous. From diners to cafes to higher end. All but one were delicious. ( Cafe Portifino you can skip) We rented a car and went to some of the snorkelling spots, saw the dry cave, went to the top of the crater to see the views. Ate the side of the road hot spots....tacos, shrimp, etc....drove through the towns, and loved every bit of it. Staying at the hotel was perfect for us. Beach or poolside service, lots of shade from umbrellas or trees for those hot days, daily dinner specials, excellent bartenders and service staff, clean large pool, hots tubs for chillier nights, open fireplaces to lounge by, and clean comfortable rooms.

Kauai Marriott is awesome. Pool is incredible and has 5 hot tubs.

We love the Kauai Marriott and stayed there on our honeymoon years ago. We were happy to be back. This particular timeshare rental is at the hotel and is a hotel room converted for live ability. It has a nice kitchenette. The bathroom is nice. Be aware that the bed is a Murphy bed that pulls down over a couch after you take all the coushions off. We kept the bed down the whole time and never used the couch. We did find the bed comfortable, but just know that you are not getting a regular bed. This room was also on the ground floor which we didn’t mind, but I know some people prefer the privacy and security of being off ground level. On the plus side we had direct access to the BBQ grills and the pool was just around the corner. The beach is nice and the restaurants next to the hotel are great. The hotel is also centrally located on the island, so you have easier access to both end of the road system for exploring. It is close to stores and Costco (gas is over $.50 cheaper a gallon at Costco than anywhere else on the island). We love it enough that we are thinking about getting a timeshare there.
