Wonderful place to stay

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Marion Lake. This is our 2nd year in a row renting here and we love it! Would highly recommend to others!

Marion Lake Vacation

Another great visit!

Second time to stay here and it did not disappoint. Very clean both times with a beautiful view of the lake. The owner gives quick response to any questions.

Slice of heaven

We had the best week stay at the lake! Couldn’t have asked for better weather - we were on the water all day most days. Ideal location, so close to Perham for quick trips into town. Cabin was well stocked and so clean and tidy. We hope to come again!

Awesome!!!!

Such a great place, park like setting, great swimming, excellent fishing, fantastic amenities. Gabe is great to work with, and the place is beautiful. For a family we would recommend this to anyone.

Weber Vacation

The weather was not as warm as we had hoped but we made the best of it by enjoying yard games on the beautiful shaded lawn between the cabin and the lake. We appreciated the nice dock so we could keep the pontoon in the water during our stay.

Back to Lake Marion

Lake Marion is one of the hidden gems of Ottertail County. One of the cleanest and clearest lakes you will find. I grew up coming to this lake and it was great to return with my family and grandson. This property is perfect. The big lot is awesome and very private. We used the fire pit every night at dusk--sharing stories. The home has everything you need and our host Gabe made contact numerous times. We will be back! 5 STARS!

Wonderful place to stay

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Gabe’s rental cabin. Beautiful cabin, yard, lake and deck. Well stocked kitchen! We have stayed at rental cabins on different lakes for the past 8 years and the kids and grandkids rated Marion Lake as one of their favorites! A very kind neighbor even brought us a wheelbarrow of firewood to use. Gabe is very kind, thoughtful, and helpful, he is a Superhost! Glad we got to meet Gabe and his wife Crystal, our Grandkids appreciated the S’more makings she left as a gift! Do not hesitate to rent here, wonderful home. Will definitely come again! Thanks Gabe!

Excellent Host!

Host Gabe was communicative, informative and provided a “welcome” text the day we were checking in. A surprise gift bag was centered on the dining room table, the Kuerig machine filled with coffee options, the deck was pristine and accompanied with new furniture, and the interior of the cabin was clean. Host Gabe checked in with a text to make sure all was well and it was! If you bring your boat or pontoon, this dock is set up perfectly so you won’t leave with a scratch. Built in fenders, ladders at the front and end of the dock, fishing rod holders and a bench grace the dock. I’ll even give Gabe credit for how clean Marion Lake is!😊 If you are looking for a get away from the fast pace of life, this is the place. The neighbors are wonderful as well. If you have boat trouble on the water, some friendly person will tow you back to the cabin(how would I know that?)!

Perfect for kids!

Our family of four had the best week long vacation in Marion Lake. Swimming area is sandy and perfect for swimming. Beautiful cabin. Can't recommend highly enough!

Park Like Setting

It was one of the best summers of our lives. The place was perfect for our family. The house is clean, and ready for the family. The deck over looking the lake was perfect. The lot is big and full of beautiful trees, and soft grass. The lake is clean, and great for swimming and full of fish for the kids and the adults. The summer we had at Marion will go down in the record books with us as a family. We had a great experience and Gabe was awesome to work with. We would for sure book again with Gabe. Thank you for the memories

Marion Lake Family Vacation-2019

We found this great property to stay at that met and exceeded our expectations. We have stayed around the Ottertail County region for many years and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The property was well maintained and make for a great weeks of memories. Thanks Gabe or being so helpful and making this worth it.

Fun on Lake Marion

Very nice retreat on the lake, where you can catch fish from the dock! Cabin was nicely stocked for all your needs. Better than expected. Even the beds were very comfortable. We will recommend this to friends and family.

Beautiful

Our family stayed here for about a week in July and had a great time. Cute, clean, classic Minnesota lake cabin. Very large lot with a great deck and view. Very private location. We had 2 little kids with us, the swimming is great and sunfish fishing is excellent off the dock. We highly recommend this for anyone or any family. Gabe the owner was very easy to communicate with and answered everything we needed. Thanks Gabe, Anderson's

A beautiful view

We stayed for 2 weeks while our kids were at a camp nearby. My husband worked from the cabin, and it had excellent wi-fi. It is a cute cabin with a great view. The owners answered our questions very quickly. It was clean and well kept.

Loved the property... the waterfront lot and dock was perfect for entertaining and swimming for kids

this property is great for enjoying the out doors.. plenty of room for Outside activities and the dock and water frontage was great for swimming and fishing.... would stay here again... very convenient to Town and grocery needs..

Wonderful traditional lake cabin, a perfect place for post-op rest and recovery!

My son and I were traveling back from Rochester following his surgery and seeking a place for him to recuperate for a few days before tackling the second leg of our trip home. This cabin was perfect for us. It is an older traditional A-frame with tasteful and thoughtful updates, including central A/C and internet. It was accessible for use of a walker and has grab bars in the bath. It is on a large lot with many oak trees and as it was mid-week few people were at their cabins nor on the lake therefore it was quiet and serene. The activity on the lake picked up a bit over the weekend and although it was the weekend prior to the Fourth of July, the activity was not annoying. The owner of the cabin was very accommodating and very easy to reach with any questions. He went out of his way to make this work for us and we are grateful for that! It was absolutely the perfect place for us.

Absolutely stellar! Cabin clean, with towels, linens, etc. Comfortable and quiet. Secluded location. Kitchen well stocked with essentials, utensils, dishes, etc. Grounds well manicured. Shady trees. Amazing deck. Picturesque view of the lake and shoreline. Rocky descent to lake but good access from the dock. Friendly neighbors. We came for peaceful R&R and that was delivered big time. Most commonly heard phrase: Isn’t this beautiful!

Perfect place for our annual trip!

Each year a group of us get together for a winter ice fishing trip somewhere in Miinnesota and this year we decided on the Perham area and to give a VRBO a try instead of the usual hotel. Our decision turned out to be the right one and we now have what we hope will be a cabin to return to many times in the future. The cabin was clean, in good working order and the owner was readily available when a couple of questions arose. As a bonus, we had great lake views, privacy, and security for all of our gear. So much better than a hotel! Throw in a meal of fresh fish and good conversations with friends around the table rather than a noisy bar and we had an awesome time. Thanks for sharing your place with others!
