The Queenslake Mansion is the classic Kentucky Horse Farm experience. Arrive up to tree lined meandering driveway to be welcomed by the stately greek revival mansion pillars. The home has three upstairs guest rooms overlooking the stables or the lakes. The farm is home to a sport horse boarding facility and has 3 barns, 3 lakes, and carriage/walking paths around the property. You can partake in some fishing during your stay. It has been called the best fishing in Kentucky many times. Enjoy the sunrise from the lakeside gazebo or oversized back porch or spectacular sunsets from the front porch, or enjoy a sunny nap by the lake on sun loungers in the backyard.

Why John Chmela chose Georgetown
Take a drive to downtown Georgetown and downtown Midway. Both are very picturesque towns with nice shoppes, antiques, and restaurants, and both are only 10 minutes away. The Kentucky Horse Park and Keeneland Racetrack are 15 minutes away, and plenty of golf courses, museums, distilleries and wineries nearby too. There is enough to easily fill in a 2-3 night stay. For travelers with horses, there are overnight stalls available for you horse(s) for an extra fee.
