About Vacasa, FL - Florida Keys Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Key Lime Calypso
the location is good next to Duval street but the music next door until 2AM every night and some time 4AM make sleeping at night impossible.
Rust and dust
The first impression is that one has entered the 80s. Next, one learns that none of the windows open. They’re sealed! Dishwasher doesn’t work. Barbecue collapsed -we were provided with a new one after complaining. Two wine glasses. Two coffe mugs. No laundry detergent. Burned out lights... etc
We apologize for any disappointments and inconveniences this guest experienced during their reservation. There is a new grill on the property, we have added more wine glasses and coffee mugs to match the maximum occupancy, and housekeeping will be sure to leave detergent for our guests. The windows are painted shut so they will not open, and there are no immediate plans to replace the dishwasher at this point. Thanks!
Good Location, Pool, Nice Yard - but SUBstandard Equipment and Furnishings
My husband and I had a great time in Key West! This house has such great potential (keyword - potential) due to the location and the pool! The pool was amazing and heated, so after a long day on the beach, biking and exploring - taking a dip in the freshwater pool was so nice.
The location is central to everything - however there is a bar next door that plays LOUD music from noon to 3AM, every day! So if you want quiet, this is not your place. Honestly, if everything else was top notch, this would not concern me.
The furniture is old, and extremely uncomfortable. There is no place to comfortably sit, or even to lay down. The cushions are very worn and the mattresses are old and "springy." Our neck and back hurt every morning, one night we literally slept on the lounge chairs in the back (after the music stopped).
The kitchen could use some upgrades and repairs. The toaster doesn't work well, the coffee maker is on its last leg and you need a knife to turn on the dishwasher (knob missing). The stove top burners are not even, so difficult to cook. If Vacasa works with the owners to upgrade some of the small appliances, and repair others, and replace furnishings, I'd stay here again. They (Vacasa) also need to pay attention to detail when cleaning and organizing these rentals between renters. It was not up to par when we arrived. The staff were very open to hearing of our concerns and hopefully will put controls in place to meet the expectations of someone paying this type of $ to vacation in Key West!

The location is fantastic. Just off of Duval. The outdoor heated pool and backyard were great to come back to everyday. There is a bar that is crazy loud behind the place. The noise didnt bother us but we were not in Key West for peace and quiet.
Great location but needs serious updating
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The property is in serious need of updating. The location was great, but the house is a bit run down. When we arrived, the house was dirty (dirt and hair on the bed & pillows). We had to call to have the cleaning service come out.
Great location but improvement needed
The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
This property is in an ideal location and the pool is wonderful. Our biggest issue was the inside. Not only does it need a major update with furniture and appliances, but we had a bug issue. I’m a native Floridian and I fully understand bugs get in the house and can’t be helped, but this was different. They didn’t have the property “clean” but when we arrived there was other people’s hair stuck in the sheets and pillows and bugs in both beds. Not just one bug but multiple and mainly small worms but we did find a variety. Also bugs and rust water came out of shower when water was turned out , but since we stayed right after the hurricane that is to expected. Also with this company make sure you purchase renters insurance.
