Golf Stay made perfect

So off the bat, this group was a bunch a male friends down in Florida playing golf. Some of the things in the house did not function. The directTv and Theater had no function at all during the trip. This I know would've upset my family if I brought them. However this house, Reunion, Central Florida and the rental company were great to deal with.

Great Birthdays

It was Husband & my Sister in law Birthdays. We had a Private Chef come in and prepare Dinner. Everything was great. We had issue with the cable, but they sent someone over immediately to fix the problem. We were there a week and everything was great. The house is beautiful, just as it is in pictures. I tried to rent for Christmas, but its not available. I will definitely stay again.

The house was beautiful but…

This property was clean and conveniently located. Make sure you read your check in well- there are pretty much zero amenities, we had to buy everything from pot holders, dish towels, dish soap, wash cloths. The pool and spa were not heated, which is why we booked. They would not accommodate even though we were willing to pay double their rate. Make sure to pay extra and tell them you want to pool heat turned on prior to arrival, it kind of ruined my family’s trip.

I should have researched closer

The communication was a challenge from the moment I booked until we left. Check in was okay... still lacked in the communication. As far as the property... we had an issue with appliances not working and functioning properly (garbage disposal was stopped up with nasty smelling food, microwave was broken, refrigerator was dirty as well). The blinds were broken in the master bedroom downstairs and someone had tried to fix it with duct tape... the mattress was also not right. The neighborhood was very nice. One thing I can suggest to anyone wanting to rent this property is if you want to change your reservation to extend days, do so a month ahead of time. They literally charged me $75 for an early check in (3 hours earlier than the time they stated) and they also charge almost $400 for an extra day (and the day at the time of booking was included in the reservation). This was my first time using VRBO for booking a property and this makes me very reluctant to use them again.

Needs updated photos

Make sure you keep track of when your 2nd payment is due. Had we not contacted them on the day it was due, we wouldn’t have received an invoice and would have been delinquent on our payment. The photos need updated. The TV in the living room is much smaller than pictures. Only 3 lounge chairs at pool. Says golf course view…No. 2 dishwashers, only 1 works. No notice on the broken one. When we opened it, the smell was so bad that we gagged. They opened a work order in it, but no one showed up to fix it before we left. Washing machine only spins on low. That was a big problem. Good luck. Microwave touch screen buttons only work 1/2 the time. Pool heater was broken when we arrived. They did get it running the next day. Outdoor kitchen is NOT functioning. Grill is chained shut, frig & ice maker don’t work. We tried calling the phone number listed to rent a grill. Mailbox was full so we texted the number. They never called back, so we purchased a small grill and are now driving home with it. The patio ceiling fan could fall down. Outside TV does’t work Theatre room screen didn’t work upon arrival. They got it running a couple days before we left. Had to watch the Super Bowl on the very small living room TV Definitely needs a deep cleaning throughout. Pendant lights above island look fuzzy because of the grease/dirt buildup. Master bathroom corners and woodwork were very dirty. Bring your own dish towels, dish clothes, pot holders, bath floor mat…

Lovely House

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. Each room had their own bathroom and the theater and pool were nice.Note- 2 of the recliners in the theater don’t work and it cost extra to heater the pool and hot tub. We were aware of this prior by email notification and reading other reviews. Property managers were quick to answer all questions, and check out instructions we’re simple.

Bug situation

We had issues with this property from day 1. This has was infested with roaches in the kitchen area. Even though they sent someone for pest control, we continued to see more roaches daily. Also, the two beds for the downstairs were terrible. They finally sent a mattress on the 4th day for one of the beds but never did anything for the master bedroom. We asked for assistance after day 1 of relocating if the issues could not be resolved or reimbursed and we would leave the property. We never got any assistance and finally ended up leaving the property 4 days early with some assistance from VRBO. The area and neighborhood was good but the owner does not care about the upkeep of this house. There were also issues with the dishwashers (1 partially worked), microwave, and garbage disposal (does not work). The theater room does not have a receiver to connect to watch movies. So unless you are a little tech savvy and bring your own console to connect, you will not be able to use it. This really dampened out trip because we tried to book a home in a area that was above par since we would be there 10 days but we were extremely disappointed. The older couples were not able to get a good nights rest because of the bed situation in the downstairs bedrooms. We did not receive any type of reimbursement, assistance, or apologies from this home provider. Spend your money somewhere else.

Baseball Family Spring Trip

The property was largely as advertised. Spacious, inviting, convenient and very comfortable. Bedroom and living areas were spacious. Large kitchen and very nice outdoor space. Movie theater projector and kitchen sink disposal did not work. Property would benefit from having additional instructions as to how to operate TV's (direct TV) etc. Some of the beds are in need of replacement as they are worn out. Disappointed that the outdoor grill was locked and could not be utilized. Tried to pay to have the pool heated and was told by the mgmt company that the pool heater was broken. Only one set of towels per room. Need to have a second garbage can as we quickly filled the only one that was on property.

Place looks great online

Travelled with my senior executives, and I was now put in charge of booking our annual Florida House. They have been coming to reunion for 16, I am on my 12th year in Reunion during February. We have always had issues, but being younger I thought hey let's use VRBO. The listing says a grill. Yes it has one but it is chained. You do not know this until the checkin email is sent. So we had to spend money on a grill rental. Bosses were not thrilled. The TVs did not work, it took about 48 hours for that to be fixed. After the fact, only half of the TVs worked. They mentioned they would replace the 2 outdoor TVs and 4 common area TVs upstairs. They were not fixed in our 3 week stay. One electrical circuit was clicking in my bosses room so he had to move. That took about 4 days to fix. The microwave did not spin. They came and said they would need to replace the motor. They said 48 hours and they would fix it. Well we never had a microwave and they seemed to brick it so it stopped working completely. So ease of cooking and heating up breakfast in the morning was no longer an option. We called within 24 hours of lack of water heat (takes 5 minutes to heat up, not the end of the world) and also the water pressure in sink and upstairs. Nothing was done. Pool heat is broken. Rugs/Carpets are stained. pots and pans are disgusting. Trying to remedy this with property manager, they said all the above was worked on, so its out of there hands. Shame.

Bugs and bad mattresses

The house size is nice and has potential; however, the owners have lacked keeping it clean. Multiple bugs in the kitchen area including a large cockroach climbing up the wall. There was a dead lizard on the living room floor as well. The mattresses were all in very bad shape, very uncomfortable. Thankfully none of them contained any bed bugs. Many stains left on the carpet and needs to be cleaned if not replaced. Had I booked this house for my family to stay in I would have been very upset, to the point I would have found another rental and left immediately. Look elsewhere!

Beautiful house

The property was beautiful and exceeded our expectations! It's located inside of a gated community with security. Check-in was seamless and easy. We were able to get our luggage unloaded and get our guys trip underway!

Beautiful house but no working cable TV or theater room

The house is beautiful and massive located within the Reunion Resort. Easy to find and lots of room to gather with family. The outside living area also very nice! Unfortunately, even after checking with the management company beforehand, there was no working live TV available throughout the house. The Direct TV was malfunctioning so I called the management company upon arrival and they didn't send someone out until the next afternoon and the tech did not remedy the problem. My family was looking forward to watching football (and just TV in general) throughout our stay but the issue was not resolved after multiple phone calls over a 3 night stay. Having a theater room without any instructions how to function it or access to watching anything on the screen was also pointless so we were very disappointed. Would definitely recommend the house but they should really remedy this problem within 7 bedroom TV's, a living room TV and theater room.

Disappointed

The pool was dirty, dead frogs, worms and other debris in it. They did not send anyone to clean it until the day before we checked out. We had plans outside the house that day so we were never able to use the pool. Ceiling fans outside on lanai did not work which made it get uncomfortable outside in the heat. Stains on sheets on bed when we checked in. Called management company every day regarding problems and there was no urgency or follow up communication. Very disappointed.

Custom Built Reunion stay

The house is amazing. Some needs improvements before guest arrive would be: have a cleaning just before guest arrival/checkin. There’s always going to be creepy crawlers but having to see the deceased ones lying around wasn’t Pleasant. Provide HOA rules to guest to prevent getting tickets during their stay. Point out how trash disposal and service works and last but not least, owner can/should replace/provide blinds for the down downstairs living/bedrooms at a minimum. Privacy matters to some. Some of my maintenance request weren’t addressed. As stated before, working through these things, the house was amazing.

Stay somewhere else!

Pros: The house is beautiful. Great Proximity to all major attractions in Orlando. The beds are comfortable (If you don’t mind sleeping with fingernail clippings) Cons: We stayed at this beautiful house for five days. From the very beginning, we had issues with the house. I’ll start with the overflowing trash when we check in on Wednesday. The smell of feces when we walked in the house, the theater room was beautiful, but unfortunately, we never got to use it because the remotes did not work. Half of the recliners are broken. If you can get them to go up, you won’t be able to get them to go back down. Only about half of the light switches work in the house. There were no pool lights, which was very dangerous. If You plan on swimming anytime after the sun goes down. The description says that you can use the grill however it has a deadbolt lock on it. The upstairs patio was disgusting and I would not Step foot on it. The furniture outside is moldy, torn, and raggedy. I don’t think they changed the bedsheets. I found toenail clippings in the bed on the first night. The comforter was dirty. The automatic trashcan had no batteries in it and the inside was filthy. The biggest concern I have as the host is nonexistent. For five days, I reported all of these concerns, and the only response I got back was for me to take a picture of the overflowing trash and send it to them. When you’re spending over $2500 to stay in a house for 5 days I expect more.

Florida Mansion

House was really pretty, could have been cleaner. I would recommend this property but please bring cooking pots and skillets, the kitchen isn’t fully stocked. After a quick trip to Walmart all was good. The pool was beautiful and we loved the total indoor outdoor experience. I would definately stay there again.

Nice House, good location

The house was as beautiful as the pictures and there was ample room for the 11 of us in the party. The pool area was nicely secluded . Unfortunately there were a few issues with the house that slightly spoilt our stay. The main oven was not working and was unable to be fixed during our stay, this left us with only one small oven to cook for 11. The playstation was unusable, which was a disappointment to the teens we had with us who had brought games out with them. The movie room was also unusable for the first 5 days. The house itself is on a big resort, but it was very quiet and in a great location for disney. We had a fantastic 2 weeks and despite the issues with the house, we would book it again but probably not through the same management company as there communication left a lot to be desired.

Horrible management company

I arrived at the property for a week long stay. The home was fairly clean on the inside starting to go down hill from the pictures. The outside of the home had not been cleaned at all. Old food was left in the grill with bugs all over it. The pool had turned green all around it and in the hot tub on top Dishwasher, garbage disposal broke and parts had to be ordered it was not repaired by the time we left. Fridge kept leaking a puddle of water every day. We called to have the pool looked at so we could swim during our stay over 40 calls were made each time I was told someone would be coming on the 5th day of our stay a pool guy came and said it was his normal day to clean the pool and said that no one ever called him and let him Know there was a problem so he had to put a bunch of chemicals in the pool and we could not use it until the last day of our trip. I’m not sure exactly why our trip was handled so bad. I have called the management company phone number and it goes to a voice mail every time so they tell you you have to send an email and act like my ruined trip was not a big deal to them

The house was beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi were great. There were some spots in the house where the housekeepers could have done a better job in cleaning, but overall was very nice and would do it again.

My family and I really loved this house. It was absolutely beautiful and had a ton of space to allow privacy when desired. The only reason I couldn’t give a five star is because my husband and I didn’t have hot water in our bathroom so we had to use our daughter’s bathroom. I didn’t call maintenance because 1. It was Christmas and 2. We were out at the parks all day and I really didn’t want anyone in house while we weren’t there. Other than that the house and neighborhood was really nice and I would definitely stay there again.

Great experience! House was super clean. Plenty of linens and dishes. The homeowners did not skimp on anything in this house!! Awesome memories! The pool is much larger than pictures can show. The theater was so fun. We watched football and movies. Management company is prompt in replies. Housekeeping quickly brought us dish towels and an extra bath mat (the only thing missing). Best experience to date from ANY property company we've used. Two thumbs up!!

Excellent

The house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. The theater was so awesome I am putting one in my home just like it. We did have issues with one of the AC units a couple of times and the management was very responsive and the issues did get fixed. Some of us thought the beds were a little too soft, others thought they were just fine. All things said and done this house is one of the best we have rented from VRBO and we have rented many. We absolutely would stay at this property again.
