Perfect getaway spot

This propert is right smack in the middle with of everything! stores, dinning,entertainment and of course the beautiful beach. The host Maribel was great I found myself neededing an extra night and she made it happen. I’m very greatful for her rapid and smooth transition through this last minute inconvenience. This is a must if you’re looking to relax and enjoy a clean and nice place to stay. Definitely will stay again!!

Wonderful view, great location, exactly as listed!

Loved walking on the beach and just relaxing while looking out at the view. Plenty of things to do if a person wanted to. Market and food all within walking distance. Just leave the windows open for a great breeze. Be sure to bring the bins for people and bird watching!!! We had a problem with the hot water and Maribel got it taken care of the next day. PERFECT OCEAN FRONT CONDO

Maribel, once again, thank you for your hospitality in making our trip a perfect one. The 10th floor apt has excellent ventilation as it faces the ocean with a great view of the beach. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants and Hotels that are located in Isla Verde. The apartment was very clean and everything was in order as always. That's why is always our first choice when going down there. If there is an issue, Maribel is just a phone call away. We are looking forward to our next trip!

Enjoy Puerto Rico

A little disappointed there was no balcony. We knew this : however, there were large windows that faced the ocean and opened letting in a nice breeze. We were there for 10 days and one of the elevators was broken the entire time. Easy access to the beach but no chairs provided and 2 chairs and 1 umbrella was $25 a day! You will have to buy ice. Would I stay there again? Yes fabulous location.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Carolina PR. Great location with everything we needed in walking distance. Beaches are fantastic and great daily walking!Our unit had beautiful views. The kitchen had all the basics needed to cook in, which we did most meals. The bed was comfy. The host was very responsive to issues like internet, door entrance and always available if need and very prompt. The pool was delightful.However when we were inside the unit to relax, the futon furniture was very uncomfortable for sitting and we wanted a good chair to read in etc. It was a real struggle for inside relaxation for 3 weeks. We actually set our low beach chairs at times. All the maintenance people were very nice as well of security staff. We found it to be a very safe and fun location.

We loved our stay in Puerto Rico. The condo was a wonderful find and great for us. Easy to get to the beach where we spent most of our time. Easy out to the beach from the condo. Awesome view. Maribel was very responsive when we had ac problems. Mostly we didn't need the ac due to a wonderful breeze off of the ocean. Only one suggestion to have a more comfortable futon in the living area. However looking at the pictures again I wonder if the futon was not put back together correctly after the last use. Wonderful location for a vacation. We will be back. Patty and Lyle

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo.We've visited Puerto Rico a number of times and this condo is our favorite. The view is fabulous! The beach is super and security doesn't even come to mind. It's like staying in the home of a friend with very good taste. Maribel (the owner) takes great pride in her unit and it shows. No flea market furniture here. Every thing matches and the kitchen is fully equipped including a full size refrigerator. Condo is immaculate. The bed is firm and the room is a good size. The bath is unique. It has an area with a sink and mirror and then there is a full bath with shower. Essentially you have 2 baths. The unit is truly full ocean front from both the bedroom and lounge. Located on one of the most picturesque parts of Isla Verde beach. All the big chain hotels and casinos are a 5 to 7 minute walk away but why pay more for much less. Walk a block and there is a CVS that has everything from rum to aspirin. (Too much of the former will require a little of the latter.) There is a little market/coffee shop a minutes walk from the condo. Next door to the market is local restaurant called Mi Casita. Check out their $2.49 breakfast special and do not miss the mofongo. Walk another 10 minutes and there is an American style super market if you want to eat most of your meals in the condo. Many other restaurants are near by. You get the picture. Stop looking. Book this unit and start thinking about sun, sand and Puerto Rican nights. But you better hurry. I'm making plans to come back soon!

perfect vacation

Our vacation was perfect. We especially appreciate Maribel accommodating our early arrival.The apartment is very nice and clean, stunning view, ideal beach access, enjoyed walk on the beach every morning very much. Couldn't have asked for better place. The apartment is located conveniently close to restaurants (Mi casita is our favorite), supermarket, pharmacy. All our expectations were met 100%. We felt home away from home, even better :).Our trip to Culebra was cancelled due to weather condition, but we went to Ventana cave and Arecibo abservatory instead and had great experience. Looking forward to return.

I particularly don't like the ceramic floor through out, not easy to keep clean; having to sweep and mop each day. No matter how careful we were coming in from the beach. Also not having the conforms of room service is a bummer. Windows are filthy and the bathroom could use TLC. Overall the place and the area is nice, and area could use lounges. Nice, but a bit noisy

We enjoyed our stay. The place does have more noise than some others in the area because of the street right below the condo. Trash trucks backing up with those warning beeps early in the morning. A snippy detail is that the owner placed what were apparently two ceiling tiles in a large plastic bag at the back of the closet - sitting vertically. At some point I drew out a shirt on a hanger, it must have snagged the tiles, they tipped over and an edge broke. The owner deducted part of my deposit for the "damage." My complaint is that if you set up something like that that can be so easily damaged, you own responsibility for the problem. Stash them somewhere that they cannot be harmed in such an easy manner. She apparently didn't see her responsibility for properly storing something so easily damaged. We have also owned rental property for eight years and I would have taken responsibility for how I stored these tiles. Seemingly small details like this can color a vacation stay and the owner's response was disappointing.

Nice get away

I enjoyed my time at this condo. Perfectly located right on the beach, there is nothing like waking up to that view of the ocean and hearing the waves crashing (the pics in the description are exactly as the view appears). The building is in walking distance to many restaurants (lots of fast food nearby and nicer restaurants in nearby hotels/resorts). I did not have a car and used the bus system exclusively particularly for going to Old San Juan; there is no set schedule but they tended to come every 30 min or so and if you are not in a hurry they are a good way to see the local area and are air-conditioned and only $0.75 each way. Maribel is a great host with prompt email replies and instructions. She even notified me 2 days before my trip that the wireless internet had stopped working and I may need to use the cord for my computer. However, when I arrived, she had already had the cable company come remedy the situation and the wireless worked perfectly (and was fast!). For amenities, the bed is firm and the futon relatively comfortable. There was some difficulty having a consistent temperature of water in the shower, but this was not a problem. The photos are exactly as the apartment appears. It was very clean upon my arrival. Large TV with DVD player also a plus. Great place to stay for a get away. Located close to airport and about 30-45 minutes from old san juan by bus (much faster by taxi). Also nearby hotels which provide easy pick up/drop off for island excursions through tour companies. If getting cab from airport, tell them you are going to Water and Beach Club Hotel (there are set fares by distance from airport) as it is less than a block away and will put you in the right location.

An enchanted home on the Enchanted Isle

My husband and I treated ourselves to a 5 week stay in Puerto Rico this summer and Casita Maribel was the absolute perfect home away from home. All the conveniences of home were there from dishes, glassware and utensils to linens, towels, beach chairs, a cooler. The apartment is centrally located with easy access to all major points of interests, great bars, restaurants, casinos and an absolutely fantastic beach. The property has excellent 24 hour security, a nice pool and washer and dryer right outside our apartment door. The views from the bedroom and living room are breath-taking and although, A/C is available, the ocean breezes make refrigerated living, optional. I highly recommend this heavenly piece of paradise and would definitely stay there again. I think the only thing I would change would be to have some seating by the window where I could sit and gaze at the view with a great book and an even better glass of wine. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Maribel for the excellent service and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!!!

Words can not describe the wonderful and amazing time my wife and I spent here at this beachfront condo. The pictures of this property are breathtaking but pale in comparison to how wonderful it really is. In the pictures you can not feel the wonderful trade winds that pass through this home away from home that both soothe and revitalize you. Waking up to the sounds of ocean waves were so good that I made a recording that I listen to in order to put me in my happy place. For lazy days you can just slide the floor to ceiling panoramic window open and surf on the free wifi or as in my case write till your heart is content. It was my writing haven. The owner was friendly and provided excellent customer service and there were no hidden tricks or gimmicks. The property is well maintained and pristine. It is 5 minutes from the airport and is centrally located and close to excellent restaurants and hotels for nightly entertainment. We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Casa Dante. I had the Trifongo with shrimps, a dish to die for, followed by the coconut flan. There is 24 hour security guard but honestly my wife and I felt as though we were in paradise. Hopefully you'll stay here in this hidden gem, we highly recommend it. But hopefully not when my wife and I make our reservations to return next year! Yes it really is that GREAT!!!
