4 west-facing PORCHES with unobstructed views of the harbour! INCREDIBLE SUNSETS every evening, and unlike most bayside homes, no power lines to get in the way!

Our DOCK has been featured in popular magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Travel & Leisure! The low tide water is deep enough for boats like a Boston Whaler, and large boats can moor in the bay or at one of the 3 nearby marinas.

MAID SERVICE every third day during the rental period. Additional maid service may be contracted and paid for separately.

Our CONCIERGE is available to help you with just about anything (extra maid or cooking, golf carts, dinner reservations, catering, boat trips, etc.)

The 5 Bedrooms have beds that can be configured in a number of different ways, and can comfortably SLEEP UP TO 16.

BEACH MEMBERSHIP - Free to Blue Dolphin guests, our membership provides 6 chairs and 3 umbrellas all set up and waiting for you in a manicured and convenient spot right between two of the most popular resorts on the island (additional chairs and umbrellas may be rented for a nominal daily fee).

The Blue Dolphin is CONVENIENTLY LOCATED only steps away from shops, restaurants and a short walk or even shorter golf cart ride (preferred mode of island travel) to the famous three mile PINK SAND BEACH.

WEDDING VENUE - Great location for an intimate wedding

Contracting Renter must be age 25 or older and must stay on property for the duration of the rental period.

Our family had the best time at the Blue Dolphin! The location is unbeatable — beautiful sunsets, plenty of great spots to hang out outside, and six beach chairs with umbrellas set up for you each day right between Coral Sands and Pink Sands. Everyone on the island knows the Blue Dolphin, which made booking charters and activities super easy.The owner and Blaire, the property manager, were both so helpful and quick to respond. Between the prime location, the beautiful outdoor areas, the beach setup, and the great communication, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Family getaway

The views from this house are amazing! Looking out over the water and morning coffee on the 2nd floor balcony was amazing! Blair was very helpful to work with and responded quickly when we had a small issue that was a quick fix. We did not eat at the house much at all but nearby restaurants were top notch. My favorite part about the booking is the reserved beach chairs and umbrellas on the pink sand beach! The backyard was also a peaceful retreat.

Wonderful stay on Harbour Island

Great Spot

Blue Dolphin was in a great location with plenty of room for everyone. We were able to walk to restaurants in the evening and it has beautiful views from the porches overlooking the water!

Amazing Place and Amazing Host

Everything was perfect. Pre-trip communication, pre-trip planning, arrival, the home, the outdoor space, the entertaining space, and the location. The pictures online are beautiful, but don't truly do this home and property justice. I don't know if there is any better spot for a Harbour Island sunset. My wife, kids, and extended family couldn't be happier with the entire process and experience. My only hesitation in recommending Blue Dolphin to everyone is that it might not be available the next time we come back, which we surely will!

Very convenient location, very nice front and back gardens. The property was less than clean, very cluttered and furnishings worn and dated. Host was very responsive and communicative and so easy to work with.... my suggestion would be for someone from the family go and review the property, clean out and Make necessary updates....basically just needs attention.

Good for big group

Property has plenty of room and beds. 3 of the rooms are not accessible from main house, you will have to walk outdoors to access which is actually nice if you go with a big group. The house had comfortable beds and linens and a/c!! Close to local bakery and walking distance to food store for supplies. 5 min golf cart ride to best pink sand beaches. Will stay again

Perfect girls getaway at blue dolphin

We had the best girls weekend at Blue Dolphin! Great views, big space, lovely back yard for a catered dinner and bartended cocktail hour! We loved every second. Also, customer service with Blaire was amazing!!

Great location

The best part about the house is the location. Very affordable waterfront home. Also a bonus to always have chairs and umbrella on the beach just for us. The house does need some tlc. I wish there were more towels supplied (and weren’t falling apart). The tile outside is very slippery. Our bedroom upstairs was very hot at night. On the last day the back door would not open.

Memorial Day weekend 2024

The house is located in a very convenient spot near ferry dock and Valentines Marina. Older house with older furnishings but well appointed. Everything you need including full house generator if the island power goes out. The chairs and umbrellas on pink sand beach amazing extra.

Lovely island

We enjoyed our first trip to Harbour Island, and the location of the Blue Dolphin was great! We could easily access all the restaurants, shops and beach. The chairs at TeeJay's were great and we loved eating/drinking there on our beach days. Sunsets from the balcony were breathtaking! The kids also loved playing in the spacious back yard with lovely landscaping.

Blue Dolphin visit

The Blue Dolphin was an amazing house to stay in. Beautiful views and great back yard. The Island itself was a fun place to stay as well. The one complaint was the electricity on the island went out daily and since we were there on one of the hottest weeks of the year, at times it was uncomfortable in the house.

I have been visiting Harbour island since 1961 and my wife, Kathy, and I purchased the Blue Dolphin 30 years later when it was a tiny two-bedroom home surrounded entirely by a 6-foot, cinder block wall. Five major projects later our vision became a true home not only for us, but also for our three grown boys and their families as well as a spectacular vacation destination for a wonderful variety of people, many of whom return year after year.

We jumped at the chance to buy the Blue Dolphin; located on historic Bay Street with spectacular west-facing views across the bay; its own dock; part of the local action, walkable to groceries, restaurants, shops, and a sprinkling of drop-by, friendly folks in the midst of the island vibe, and those who know Harbour Island know what I mean.



O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Best sunset views on the island from 4 (count 'em) 4 separate porches!

Able to comfortably handle large families or groups of friends who seek both large common areas for mingling as well as private places to recharge!

One of the most enchanting, spacious tropical gardens on the island, complete with orchids, hibiscus, bougainvillea, ixora, aloe, croton, jasmine, peas and rice, crown of thorns, desert rose, ferns, banana plants, papaya, alamanda vines and shrubs, and every species of palm you can think of ... and this gorgeous display is completely surrounded by a stunning, coral-faced privacy wall. Grill tuna on the rustic barbeque pit nestled in this jungle, catch a few z's in the hammock if you can find it, or tip toe around barefoot in the soft and moist grave yard grass pathways. Be careful to avoid the colorful corals and conch shells nestled among the flora; all together, a uniquely Bahamian feel!

Oh, did I mention the Blue Dolphin has its own dock, or that it has its own reverse osmosis system that produces quality water exceeding what you buy in plastic bottles, or a whole-house generator that protects guests from the inconvenience of island power outages? Few homes can make all of these claims!
