"Luukku" tarjoaa viehÀttÀvÀn aitouden historiallinen koti taas tyylikkÀÀsti yhdistÀÀ suuri trooppinen ulkona asuintilojen ja modernit mukavuudet.

Home on suuri katettu ruokailutila, olohuone ja istuu baari. LÀmmitetty uima-allas, lounge alueilla ja ulkona biljardipöytÀ ympÀröi vehreÀ puutarhaa. Hatch on myös suuri ylhÀÀltÀ kannella lounging tai pyyntiÀ auringonlasku nÀkemyksiÀ.

PÀÀrakennuksessa on kaksi makuuhuonetta ylÀkerrassa, pÀÀllikölle parisÀnky, toisessa kuningatar. NÀmÀ on jaettu kylpyhuone clawfoot kylpyamme ja erillinen suihku. Alakerran makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja kylpyhuone. NeljÀs makuuhuone on erillinen guesthouse kylpyhuone. Kaikissa huoneissa on omat televisiot ja / C yksikköÀ. Keittiö ominaisuuksia Viking ruostumaton terÀs laitteet, kÀsityönÀ puu kaapit ja perinteinen puinen työtaso. Ruokasali sijaitsee alla suuri katettu terassi ja mahtuu 12. Hatch on kaksi olohuonetta, yksi pÀÀrakennuksessa ja yksi ulkopuolella. Rauhallinen sisÀtiloissa Olohuoneessa on valkoinen slipcovered sohva ja tuolit ja on tÀydellinen paikka rentoutua hyvÀn kirjan. Ulkona olohuone sijaitsee vieressÀ baari ja ruokasali. Vieraat varmasti katsella heidÀn suosikki tv-ohjelma ja viettÀÀ aikaa rakennettu sohvat tai kun kelluu altaassa. Asiakkaat voivat myös hiljainen mahdollisuus istuu kylmÀn juoman esiportaan keinu tai keinutuolit.

Great place to stay!

We loved staying at the Hatch! The location is perfect and the pool area was great for all of the kids. Owners are very responsive if issues crop up and help when they can. It’s a perfect place to stay with multi generational groups. Someplace for everyone! Would stay there again!

Fabulous week!

We had the best time. The Hatch was the center of our week. We lunched out around the island then returned for a swim. Read books and relaxed. Eased into cocktail hour and played cards until we couldn’t! Could not have been more relaxing and fine!! Much laughter!! The Hatch does not disappoint! The uniqueness of the outdoor living concept is perfect! The location is excellent. The owners were available and so helpful from check in to check out. The Hatch was the perfect place for our family during our daughter’s wedding week! We had a blast!

Charming, historic home with all the modern amenities

We had an incredible week at The Hatch. It is obvious that the owners have been thoughtful in every detail of the house updates, including the outside living areas and landscaping. The house has all of the historic charm of a true Harbour Island home, but has been updated with a modern kitchen, pool, air conditioning in bedrooms, etc. Absolutely amazing retreat from our normal busy life! (If you have not been to Harbour Island, research the area as this is not the place to go if you want the Nassau scene of casinos and endless nightclubs) Thank you for an amazing week!!

Just be aware of the time of year you go. This house is on a noisy corner. Dirt bikes, gas fueled golf carts
.. and a rooster Hotel 

. Literally next door. I slept with swimming ear plugs . My daughter never had a good nights sleep so unfortunately we left three days early.

Great home, great trip!

We had a fabulous stay. We had 4 couples and 2 kids (5 and 1) in our group and we all enjoyed the home. There was something for everyone in the group. It is a great home for hanging out and spending time together which is exactly what we were looking for. It's close to everything! Being next door to shops & stores for groceries & liquor was perfection not to mention a short drive/walk to the marina for dinner & drinks. I cannot say enough great things about our experience. The host was fabulous and stayed in communication with us. She even came back to help us with the pool heater and brought us bug spray. The housekeeper was so sweet and it was a nice touch to have her come by each day. I can't wait to visit again.

4 couples that loved 'The Hatch' and Briland !

4 couples stayed at the Hatch this summer in July 2023. We LOVED it! WE enjoyed the open air living room, kitchen, dining room, very large pool area and deck spaces. The 4 bedrooms were cool and with perfect air conditioning at night for sleeping. Our VRBO hostess, Joanne - was super ! about helping us navigate the island and she made us feel like family while we were staying at her VRBO for the week. 'The Hatch' was right in the heart of Dunmore Town. We loved the outside bar / TV area and the pool area at 'The Hatch'. 'The Hatch' was a 2 minute walk to the beach bar and the public beach, which had umbrellas and beach chairs to rent . 'The Hatch' was a 2 minute walk to handfuls of 5 star restaurants. Golf carts were need to get around the island, otherwise . LOVED the Hatch ! AWESOME ! Joanne the owner, quickly answered all our questions and helped us navigate the island. I totally recommend staying at 'The Hatch'.

Can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at the Hatch! Our family has been coming to Harbour Island for years and stayed at many amazing properties. One of our favorite things about the Hatch is the layout. The large outdoor living and dining space open up to the pool, making it very easy to relax while keeping an eye on kids swimming throughout the day. The homeowners are welcoming and easy to coordinate with, and a housekeeper came to clean and do laundry everyday. The convenient location is steps away from groceries and shops, and the kitchen and bar are stocked with all the cookware and serveware you need to cook or entertain. We are very much looking forward to returning next summer. Thank you Vic and Joanne!

Adorable beach cottage on Harbor Island!

This home had an amazing outdoor space for us to swim and relax at after spending the first half of the day at the beach. Proximity to small grocery store , restaurants, ice cream shop, and beach made this a great place! Note- there are roosters next door so you will want to use ear plugs. The house had those there. Carol kept the house nice and clean each and every day.

Week long get-a-way at The Hatch

We had previously stayed at The Dunmore when visiting Harbour Island, however this go round we decided it would be more fun to share a house with close friends in the heart of Historic Dunmore Town. The Hatch provided the perfect home base for our weeklong vacation. The decor was quintessential Briland. We loved preparing meals in the open air kitchen and dining and entertaining friends al fresco. Cocktails made at Wic's Bar quickly became a nightly routine. Looking forward to our next visit to The Hatch!

Wonderful stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Hatch in February 2022. Vic and Joanne are fantastic hosts who were communicative, proactive and helpful throughout our trip. The set up is perfect for families who want to soak up the beautiful weather and outdoors of the Bahamas, and particularly great with young kids (the pool is fabulous to hang at during nap time)! Overall a fantastic stay and we look forward to returning.

Wonderful!

Our family had the best time! Great location! We walked to a bakery each morning for yummy breakfast treats. Close to the Piggy Wiggly and General Store. Great location. The outdoor living was so much fun! Loved the outdoor shower, pool, TV was great for the playoff games which was important to our guys. Carol, our housekeeper was great! Just the best trip! Have recommended it to a friend who goes often and she has given The Hatch recommendation to her friends who have looked into going! Just a wonderful week in Harbor Island!!

40th Birthday at the Hatch!

We hosted a group of 18 to Harbour Island for my wife's 40th. Eight of us (all adults) stayed at the Hatch. We hosted a welcome party w/a bartender and a private chef's dinner at the house during the week. The largely outdoor property, including the outdoor bar, living room and outdoor kitchen, were simply perfect for both occasions. Our guests loved sitting around the outdoor living room at night, talking. The pool and palm trees gave the house a resort-like feel and the top-floor deck with views of the water is great for sunsets. If you're looking for an authentic stay in a historic house with all the amenities, the Hatch is the place on Harbour Island. Vic and Joanne are amazing hosts and Carol (the housekeeper) is great! We had an amazing time - and will definitely be back!

Great time at The Hatch

We had the wonderful two weeks at The Hatch with our two small kids. The house is at the heart of the village, and Joanna and Vic are the perfect hosts. The WiFi is great for working remote, and we spent lots of time around the swimming pool in the wonderful garden. 10/10 overall

A beautiful outdoor oasis and great location!

We enjoyed staying in this historic home. The upstairs bedrooms are cool and cozy. We loved morning stops to coffee shop across the street and ease of shopping. Also, a quick golf cart ride to beach and all restaurants! The outdoor space was incredible; made for fun & relaxation with a large pool, great lounge and entertainment space and lush landscape! We look forward to return trips to Harbour Island!
