I stay in VRBO homes for every trip I book. I don’t even bother with other sites. I truly want to give five-star reviews when they’re earned, which makes this one especially disappointing.Booking was easy, and the host, Justin, was responsive, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to answer my questions, accommodate changes, and help however he could. I booked this house because it’s the same model I stayed in two years ago in the same neighborhood, so I already knew the layout worked well for our large group.Unfortunately, the condition of this home was very poor. It gave me an “ick” feeling the entire stay. When you see that many visible issues, you start wondering what can’t be seen. Call me a snob, but some of this is what I’d expect in a condemned house. The guests clearly haven’t taken care of the place, but ultimately it’s on the owner to address these issues or update the listing photos so they’re accurate. The TV in the bedroom didn’t work the entire time, which was upsetting since that’s how we usually relax at night. The dryer shut off every five minutes, and when I looked inside, there were mounds of debris and dirt. The outside of the house was also neglected. The location was good, but overall the condition of the property ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
