Wonderful week with family

Great condo! Clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to great dining and entertainment, and right on the beach. Pool was great as well. Will certainly return.

Kids had a great time!!!

Although Islands west is an older condo, it is updated and cleaner than we could have imagined. The staff was super friendly. We had an issue with our coffee maker and within two hours a brand new coffee maker was at our doorstep. I would highly recommend iIslands West!!

Beautiful condo

This property is beautiful and immaculate. Everything looks brand new. We love the location. Easy access to everything, and a couple of very nice restaurants nearby (right across the street and on the corner across the street.). It is evident that the owners really care about this property. We enjoyed it immensely.

Adequate accommodations

The condo was as advertised but could definitely use some maintenance and upgrading. It was fairly clean but we fought gnats all week in one of the bathrooms. The entry doorframe was broken so there was no way to use the swing guard lock to keep the small children from opening the door. The top of the doorframe was completely missing. The dishwasher was incredibly loud as was the washing machine. The community pool was missing some tiles on the side that made for a very rough surface. The kitchen was well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised at the number of games in the unit. It also had a great view of the gulf.

Very Nice View

The condo had a very nice view and great balcony. We had fun and made it work but there some issues overall. I feel like we over paid for sure. The condo was not clean when we arrived after check in time and the desk said it had been cleaned but not approved. We could wait for it to be approved, there was a wait or just go in. Well, after 10 hours we went for it. Hair and Dust on the base board and the floors were not clean. The dishwasher, washer and dryer all worked but are extremely loud. They were disturbing the say the least. Batteries in the remotes did not work, Fan in the master was loud and the outlet for the lamp did not work. We are not that picky but some of things were quite annoying. On a positive note, there was enough room and the decor was cute.. The kitchen is fully stocked.

GREAT CONDO! It was a short walk to the Shrimp Fest. .

Nice condo and great location. However, someone climbed the balcony walked into our condo while we were asleep and stole my daughters purse and sons wallet. The security team and police were great. We did get everything back but the cash. Just remember to lock the balcony door.

Vacation 2019

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The condo had an abundance of kitchen items and games for the family. It may be a bit of a stretch for 10 adults to stay, as the pullout is not very comfortable and the full beds are small. Maintenance was very quick to come fix one of the faucets in the shower. Our only complaint was the washer and dryer. They were very loud and in order to dry a small load of towels it would take the whole day (had to restart about 4 times). Overall though, we would stay in this condo again.

Island Winds West

Superb location. Very short walk to The Hangout and ice cream. Beach supply stores are everywhere. This is an older building, needs a little repair, the unit’s washer takes forever to wash and the dryer does not work. The dryer turns on, but does not dry at all. We had to find a laundromat 5 miles down the road. Loved quick beach access and the beach view from the balcony.
