Come enjoy the beauty of Emerald Isle in our BEACHFRONT duplex, Rustic Peacock West (or East or book BOTH)!

Located at the highly sought after area of the island called the Point.

We totally made over both sides of this property in 2018 including a new saltwater pool (shared between east and west sides of duplex), quartz counter tops, bedding, appliances, paint, and flooring throughout. SEE the NEW PHOTOS!

NEW in 2024!!! We have built a boardwalk all the way to the beach. Now it is even easier getting all of your beach gear out to the water.

You will love the private walkway to the beach, deck overlooking a private pool (shared by both sides of duplex), ceiling fans in every room, covered parking, Wi-Fi, and Smart TVs in every room.

NEWLY ADDED enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and NEW area to play cornhole. (Added in 2021)

All new mattresses in 2022.

Spend your days on the largest section of the beach right out your door or relax in the private pool for a change before retiring into the spacious and beachy comforts that the “Rustic Peacock” has to offer.

Being at the Point offers the option to play on the beach, picking up shells or walk around the inlet and explore the Sound.

Emerald Isle faces south so you have unobstructed views of the SUNRISE AND SUNSET from your upper and lower decks!

Watching dolphins swim and play in the surf is another favorite pastime.

A Fabulous Family Beach Week

We loved Rustic Peacock! It was nicely decorated and fully equipped. There were great beds for everyone and plenty of seating indoors and out. The beach was not crowded, and the pool was a nice alternative when we wanted a break from the wind and sand. There was ample parking for our bike and kayak trailer in addition to our 3 cars. A very cozy, comfortable house!

Nice big house for a big group.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is located at the very tip on the western side of the island, and the beach is much wider there with few people around. You could walk around the tip of the island to quiet waters. The house is big and has all the needed amenities. The pool is nice for young kids and adults. It is big enough to have a room for a few people. Would definitely consider coming back.

Amazing views! The Rustic Peacock was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great, the area and beach were quiet and relaxing. The pool and outdoor shower were very nice. I would definitely stay here again. A great place to recharge.

Great place!

The Rustic Peacock was beautiful and serene. With heated pool, corn hole, a basketball hoop, and nice flat roads to bike, there was a lot to do when not relaxing at the beach. The beach is huge! We felt like it was a private beach as it’s so wide there is room for many, yet it’s not crowded at all. If you like quiet, ‘lonely’ beaches (like we do!) this could be it for you too. Note to anyone with mobility issues, it’s a long walk to get to the beach. The property pictures do not lie. A great time was had by all!

We were amazed at all the amenities! It was fabulous to have everything you needed already there! We had a couple minor problems but the owner was super easy to work with and had things taken care of right away. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect for my family

We had a wonderful time at the Rustic Peacock. It had everything we needed and LeAnn couldn’t have been nicer or easier to work with. The location was lovely and kept us socially distant from other visitors on the beach. One of our most highly rated vacations and we’ve been up and down the coast!

Location was great! When we arrived the umbrella outside was broken and i told the cleaning company... all they did was take umbrella from the pool and brought up to our deck... hence we did not have an umbrella at the pool. The outside furniture was ok not the best. The dishwasher was broken till thursday... the owner was responsive but it was a major inconvenience with 9 people in one house. The man putting the dishwasher in was not wearing a mask and very slow!!! Other than that it was a great week.

Blown away by this property! 10/10 RECOMMEND!

The best two weeks of my life! I’m not sure how to accurately describe the experience we had other than to say you have to experience it for yourself! The house is situated right on beachfront on the point of Emerald Isle. The point is a magical place that must be experienced at least once if you are a beach (and shell) lover. The neighbors are very friendly, the vibe is positive and it feels cozy and safe. The house looks exactly as it does in the listing but better in person. It’s updated and was perfect for our family of 6. It could easily fit 10 people. Check in couldn’t have been any easier. The owners responded to my emails in record time and with more thorough info than I even asked for. They were AMAZING! I had the rare opportunity to meet them while we were there and they were even more friendly in person. The decor is coastal, warm and inviting. The property is well maintained and everything was in good shape, it was clean, PLENTY of towels (which has been an issue with previous rentals), spices, salt and pepper, coffee filters, coffee, oils and vinegar, garbage bags, and more were there. I cooked all but two meals and had everything I needed there! The appliances are all worked well and having a washer & dryer was a huge bonus. Because of the pandemic, I am homeschooling my children and the wifi worked great for us the whole time, even during a two day wind storm. The pool was an amazing feature as I have one child that doesn’t like to swim in the ocean. She said it was her favorite part because it’s clean and warm :) I have not one bad thing to say about our stay here! The only thing I would want to make a potential renter aware of; there is a short walk from the end of the boardwalk to the beach and you have to walk through the dunes which can get a little challenging. This was no issue for my husband and I, or our children but may be an issue for folks with limited physical capabilities. That said, you are 4 houses away from the end of the road and right at the end there is public access to the beach. There is a staircase that brings you over the dune and you can walk downhill and then on mostly flat sand from there out to the beach/ocean. So if you are traveling with someone who is limited in their ability to walk tougher terrain I would highly recommend taking that route to the beach. We met a wonderful family while we were there and decided to make this an annual trip with them so we WILL be visiting The Rustic Peacock again!

Paradise at The Point

Beautiful property

Was looking for a place to unplug and found the perfect place. The vacation rental we originally had booked was damaged with the hurricane. We had less than one week to find another place. LeAnn answered all questions quickly and we booked this unit in less than 1 day. The views are amazing. Loved the sunsets, pool, peace and quiet. It is exactly what our family needed. Can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Peacock - West. The rental was well appointed and provided everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. It was nice having the option of going to the beach or just relaxing in the private pool. The beach was HUGE and being almost at the end of the point, few have access so it was very private. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend.

The owners were great at following up with questions and we really enjoyed our stay in Emerald Isle!

Overall, the home was ideal for 2 families. The beach was amazing and we really didn’t have any issues with sharing the pool with another family in the duplex. The only changes I would suggest are for the outdoor porch to have better coverage as the one small umbrella didn’t really shade from the morning and afternoon sun. Also, it would be great to have an outdoor enclosed shower with hot water. Other than that, we had perfect weather and really enjoyed our vacation week!

Such a great home! Just stayed at this spacious, clean, beautiful home with gorgeous oceanfront views, pool, and large outdoor deck seating. Close to everything including the pier. LeAnn so wonderfuly accomodating to answer any questions and make sure all needs met to have a great time! The walk to the beach is a little hike but the 9 of us managed just fine. No problem for us but might be for someone with heart or breathing issues. Thanks again for the opportunity to share in your paradise!

Great Beach Vacation

This was our first trip to Emerald Isle and this location near the point was ideal, no crowds. The unit was clean and appropriately furnished with all of the necessary kitchen items. The pool was a real bonus for everyone, especially the grandchildren.

Great house and AWESOME location!!

Nice house! New paint, carpet and furniture. All necessary items in kitchen and decent towels and linens. The location is the best part! Beach is super wide so takes some steps to get to ocean but it’s quiet and beautiful! Great hosts who replied timely to everything we asked! Will return.
