The warmth and peace surround you. The animals, people, food, house and quietude come together to create a realm of contentment and tranquility that is from times past. A sense of Old World stone and wood coupled with extraordinary wine, cooking, fires and spatial openness.

Nothing fancy but very comfortable and in the most breathtaking setting imaginable. The home offers privacy but is close to stores, etc. All of the animals, including the cats, were very friendly and non-threatening. The pool was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful, restful stay.

Relaxing Getaway on a farm!

The house was so cute and we loved seeing the animals! It could use a good deep cleaning and repair of some things, but nothing that made us uncomfortable or want to leave. The pool was wonderful and my son loved being able to go for a swim! Very quiet and private, and felt very relaxing!

We will definitely stay here again. My daughter and I had such a relaxing time. The beds were comfy. The house was spotless. My granddaughter loved all the farm animals. They were all so friendly and had fun feeding them.The host John was so accommodating and quick to respond if we needed anything.

Amazing!!

We lucked into this gem in search of a place to stay for my Daughters graduation at UGA. Oh my goodness I didn't want to leave Super quiet and the house was very clean. I had wo much fun petting the dogs and seeing all the farm animals. It was incredible treat for this city girl. Thank you John for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Wonderful family visit!

We had a wonderful time in this cute little cottage! The farm is beautiful and our little ones loved seeing the animals. Cottage was very clean and owners are very courteous. I would recommend for anyone. Hope to visit again soon.

Family visit

This house was the perfect location to visit my Georgia family. Located almost exactly 15 minutes from each Aunt made this a very enjoyable spot! John was very communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when visiting family and hopefully in the spring so I can see the beautiful gardens. The farm animals are very cute and John is currently working on a greenhouse that he said he might have finished by the next time we return!

Great farm cottage

We loved the property and enjoyed seeing so many farm animals. Waking up and hearing the roosters in the morning was pretty awesome. The cottage was cozy, the pool refreshing and everything we needed for relaxation. John communicated wonderfully.

Why they chose this property

The Cottage is situated on 12 acres.

There are several fenced pastures on the farm as well as several small barns. In the pastures there are goats, sheep, pigs, dogs, ducks, pigs and chickens.

All the pastures are accessible to guests and all the animals are safe.  A large deck is situated next to the pasture where you can sit and watch the animals.

A blueberry patch is situated on the back side of the property. There’s also a wood shop and a blacksmith forge close to the house. The swimming pool is open.
