Beautiful Mountain View Home with Private Resort Style Backyard

Our home has an amazing setting right next to Superstition Mountain with a beautiful view of the desert from our backyard. Our 5 bedroom home offers 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with triple bunk beds and the master suite has a King sized bed. You will enjoy sitting in the recliners in the master suite either watching your favorite thing on TV or just sitting quietly as you sit in awe at the beautiful mountain right outside the windows. The master suite also has a patio that you can enjoy a beautiful view of the backyard, the desert, the golf course and the Mountain. The luxury master bath has a oversized bathtub set in a bay window overlooking the mountain and shower. We have a pull-out sofa both in the formal living room as well as the den on the main floor.

The 4 bedrooms other than the master suite are on a different wing of the upstairs. There are two bathrooms in this area of the house as well as a recreational room that offers a sectional couch, television and a shuffleboard. Feel free to use our pack and play for the little one that is staying with you.

All 5 bedrooms, the den and all three living rooms have a ceiling fan. Our den is equipt with a desk and printer.

Our fully equipt kitchen is a joy to cook in! A gas cooktop, double oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher along with many small appliances will make your time in the kitchen fun! Our breakfast nook seats 8 people, bar in the kitchen seats 4 and formal dining room seats 8. The formal dining room has a butlers pantry off of it with a wine cooler as well as all the dishes needed to set that table. We also have a highchair for you to use.

You can enjoy quiet time sitting by the fireplace in the formal living room or watch television in our family room all while gazing at spectacular Superstition Mountain or while watching what is going on the in the backyard

Our backyard is the place where we spend most of our time. It is like a private resort. Our 6' deep pool features a swim up bar, beautiful lighting and a flowing waterfall. You can enjoy the pool by sitting in a lounger by the pool or jumping in! We also have a hot-tub that is lovely to enjoy any time of the day or night! Our pool can be either heated or chilled. (Pool Heating or Cooling as well as Hot Tub Heating is an additional $50.00 per day. We do have a community pool and hot tub that you can use at no additional expense). It's quick and simple to grill out in our outdoor kitchen next to the pool. The outdoor kitchen is equipt with a gas grill with side burners, a sink and an outdoor television that you can watch while you cook or swim. And, if you are still looking for something else to do while you are in the backyard you could sit by the gas fire pit or play a game of pool or ping-pong on our outdoor pool and ping-pong tables.

We have a lemon, lime, tangelo and kumquat tree in our back yard as well as a green turf area. Besides the loungers by the pool we have a bar with 4 chairs in the outdoor kitchen, a full sized patio dining set and 2 hammocks to lay in.

You will be able to park your car in our double garage. When you come into the house from this garage you will be in a room that has a laundry sink as well as the washer and dryer that is on our main floor. You will also have a washer and dryer for your use upstairs where the 5 bedrooms are located. We have an ironing board and iron to take care of all those wrinkles in your clothes from traveling.

When you are not enjoying time at our home, you might want to enjoy a walk or run on the trails in our neighborhood or you are just a few minutes drive to hiking trails. You could also enjoy some time at the community pool or spa. The east valley offers amazing places to dine at as well as golfing, horseback riding, mountain climbing, hiking and so much more.

As you have read, our home is great for families and children are welcome. We do expect that children will be under the supervision of adults at all times and the the pool, pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard etc will all be used with care and respect.

Great place to get away

My family (wife and 3 kids) stayed here with another family (also with 3 kids). The property was great and the pool area was awesome for escaping the 108 degree temperatures! Ryan was great about checking in with us when we arrived and then again before we left. I would highly recommend the property for anyone looking to escape for a few days and not wanting to stay in the heart of Phonenix/Scottsdale.

The house was amazing! We were here for a week paid to have the pool and hot tub heated. Glad we did as it gets cool in the evening.The backyard is amazing our Kids and grandkids loved playing ping pong, pool and loved swimming in the pool. Impressive in every way

We all feel privileged to have had the opportunity to stay in this home for our Christmas.The back yard was a private resort, everything is well maintained and ready for fun.The kitchen was a gift, fully equipped for the guy who looks forward to cooking everything and anything.The owners were very helpful and proactively called to help us with the pool/spa controls.The place would comfortably sleep 15, it's no exaggeration.

Wow! Beautiful home with so many extras! Perfect for our family! Backyard pool, hot tub and ping pong table were enjoyed every day. So appreciated the heated pool with night covers. The forecast was in low to mid 70s and pool was warm enough to swim. Location is so nice! Nestled at foothills of Superstition Mountains made for awesome views! The living area is spacious. Absolutely amazing home!!

We couldn't be happier with EVERYTHING to do with this home and our stay in Gold Canyon! Our family stayed for 10 days and didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect from the well stocked kitchen and baths, to the backyard which truly felt like a resort!! We absolutely couldn't think of one more thing we'd have wanted or needed. The hot tub and firepit were used a lot, because the weather was very cool - but that didn't stop us from enjoying the outdoors. We had ping pong and pool tournaments, card games on the patio and at night the most comfortable beds and pillows to ensure a great nights sleep so we were ready for coffee in the hot tub or by the fire pit when the sun came up!! Thank you so much Rachael and Ryan - you were terrific hosts and made us feel so welcome in your absolutely stunning home. We'll be figuring out dates for our next visit to Gold Canyon!! This worked great for our family. We had some issues with the hot tub and pool heating, but the owner did everything they could to rectify the problem, including a credit at the end of our stay. (greatly appreciated) We would definitely stay here again.

This house is everything you’re looking for!

This was an AMAZING property! We surprised my mom for her 70th birthday with a family trip to this gorgeous house! It was better than advertised! Plenty of room for all of us and endless entertainment! We loved the backyard paradise! Between the outdoor pool table, ping-pong table, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, pool, and spa we never had to leave the back yard! We weren’t sure if we would need the pool heated at the end of April, but we were glad we did - because we had a couple chilly nights where we would sit in the hot tub and watch the kids roast smores at the fire pit. It was wonderful!! The inside of the house is fully stocked and beautiful as well! We spent several nights having family shuffleboard tournaments in the game room! The game closet is also stocked with plenty of fun board games for hours of family fun! There’s lots of space to lounge and spread out, both upstairs and down, if you decide on a movie night! The bedrooms are great size and beds are super comfy! The mountain views from the back bedrooms are amazing! And don’t miss the sunset from the upper balcony off the master suite - it’s breathtaking! My only complaint was that the French doors off the master patio, have no blinds or shades. I’m sure this is intentional, because the views are fabulous, but that morning sun is very bright and wakes you up every day at 5:30am! So if you like to sleep-in on your vacations - make sure you bring a sleep mask. =) The location is perfect! 2 mile walk to grocery, ice cream shop, Mexican restaurant, and more! Tons of great hikes within minutes. We loved the bike paths and walking paths around the neighborhood as well! Thank you to Rachael! We really enjoyed staying in your home! Your hospitality was much appreciated! I have already recommended your home for many friends and family and we definitely will plan to come back! It was a very memorable vacation!

Family spring break

This is an awesome property! The backyard and pool area worked out very well for our family of 14(6 kids ages 1-7). Having the pool heated was great even though the air temperature was in the low 90’s. Having pool toys and floating things was nice. The house and kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and dishes. The hot water heater went out during our stay and the owners had a new one put in within 24 hours. They made it happen and we appreciated their quick attentiveness to the issue. Our family would all recommend this VRBO and some day we hope to be back there again!

Outdoor Oasis

We needed an escape from COVID and this property was perfect!! Room for everyone to spread out and relax and all the amenities we needed. The outdoor pool area is an oasis! Complete with swim up bar, we enjoyed many hours making memories and relaxing in the pool/spa. The pictures do not do this home justice. So beautiful!!

Awesome place - great time.

The house and property are fantastic, and worked great for our family of 10. We were here during Covid, but there was no reason to leave. The heating of the pool was definitely worth it, as we used it many hours each day. The outdoor kitchen was a gathering place, with a lot of seating in that area. Enjoyed the turfed yard area with the games provided. Slammo and ping pong were a hit. We appreciated the instruction booklet (should have looked at it sooner) and Ryan and Rachael were a pleasure to deal with. Hope to come back again.

Gold Canyon Stay

This owner, property, area, and overall appeal was miles above the competition in Gold Canyon. The owner took the time to make sure we got checked into the house and make sure there were no issues. Communication was above board throughout the entire booking process as well. Great owners really do make the difference. The property was immaculate and had everything necessary to make a memorable vacation spot. The amenities are second to none. The back yard is truly an oasis and will be missed for the next 363 days! Our group has been vacationing in AZ for the past 8 years and this is by far the best property. The location is also perfect. The neighborhood is extremely nice and in a beautiful place. Superstition Mountain is literally in the back yard. In addition, getting to golf courses, the Open, etc. was a breeze with this central location. Thank you to Rachael and Ryan for sharing this great property!
