About this property
Breathtaking Waterfront Views For Miles-93 arces
All season house with pond, creek, lake, hills, huge lawn and forest
Four-bedroom lodging will full amenities, located in a quiet 93 acre land, “waterfront” with a two kilometer hiking trail through plains, forest, wetlands and rivers. Lake perfect for rafting, or wading. Near town centre with numerous attractions, from fishing, shoppes to parks to casino.
An hour away from the heart of downtown Toronto, lies the peaceful town of Scugog. Away from the boisterous city noises and sounds of passing cars, our cottage is located amidst a valley of local farms, for the only noises you’ll hear in this 93 acre land will be the chirping of crickets and the rustling of trees.
To say the property is lakefront isn’t exactly true. Yes, it does border the wonderful lake Scugog, but with a lustrous 2-kilometer hiking trail leading the way.
The path shares the glory of the great Canadian experience. Take a walk down the hills through what could be the plains of Manitoba. As you see the river, choose to enter the forests reminiscent of Labrador and Newfoundland or the wetlands only present in Ontario. While the journey is sometimes more valuable than the destination, the beautiful lakefront provides a treasure worth searching for.
Too tired to go for a hike? No problem. Stay right by the house in the 93 acre field; perfect for soccer, football, or whatever your kids want to imagine, while you sunbathe on the rustic balcony of the cottage.
Need to get some work done? 8 gigabytes of wifi are provided for you to catch up on whatever work you need to do, and don’t worry about distractions. You won’t even hear the neighing of neighbour’s horses as you type away at whatever you need to do.
But all work and no play is never the solution. After trekking through the Canadian wilderness, settle down into the cozy lodging. Enjoy the vast array of board games provided, from Scrabble and Monopoly to Traditional Chinese Mahjong. Play a game of Go Fish or Uno by the basement fire, or settle down by the 48 inch tv if that’s more so your cup of tea.
If all these activities aren’t enough for you, head to the town, only minutes away from the property. Enjoy a tour of the isolated district of Port Perry. Take a jog alongside the lake, enjoy the ice cream chalets by the park as your children frolic. Enjoy a fresh, local meal, or head towards the casino just minutes away for some late-night fun
