Cozy and peaceful
Cozy perfect little cabin for a weekend getaway! Make sure and catch the sunset 🌅
Great little cabin nestled in a country setting
The cabin has everything you need! It’s small but neat as a pin. Woke up to a beautiful view and several deer drinking at the pond. Includes WiFi which was great because we didn’t have cell service there. The owners are great and make sure you have everything you need. Be sure to buy some steaks from them to cook on the grill.
wonderful cabin, you have all you need and relax. I highly recommend it.
Wonderful cabin, although it is a little cabin you can fin all you need and relax too. I highly recomend it.
Peace, quiet, and beauty.
We came to get away for a few days before the crazy of the holidays settles upon us. We wanted to do some hiking with the kids and just disconnect for a few days. We enjoyed our stay at the Lily Pad immensely. The cabin was clean and quaint, and had all the appointments needed for the few days we were there. The view of the pond was beautiful, and the sunset view was spectacular. We walked around the property and found it to be very peaceful. The kids enjoyed the farm dogs and free range cows as well. We brought lots of firewood and spent a lot of time by the fire stargazing and eating marshmallows! Our son spent all his spare time fishing in the pond. The hosts make sure to take care of their guests and even brought us fresh baked cookies! What a treat! The only thing I will mention for the sake of anyone reading this with a sensitive back, you may want to bring an air mattress as the bed provided is a futon. We were aware of this from looking at the pictures and brought an air mattress to place on top the of futon mattress for added comfort. My family is already talking about our next trip to this beautiful place!!
Perfect and relaxing
We very much enjoyed having this private space away from the hustle of a city. This location is great as it is close to numerous hiking and climbing destinations while still far enough to feel like home away from home. The privacy was great. Directions were easy to follow and the road to the cabin has obviously been well maintained by the landowner. I can't wait to come back. Also the kitchen had all the tools to cook a great dinner.
Take Firetower Road, off of highway 43. Go exactly 3.5 miles and turn left onto Stoverville Road. In 1.3 miles the Lilly Pad will be on your left, and you will see a 3 acre lake as well. (Do not turn left after Crossroads church, it will take you to Ponca down the mountain, the back way!)
