Peaceful, Beautiful, Overall Perfect Getaway for Our Family
Thank you to the Long's for allowing us to stay on their beautiful property!! This was an amazing place to relax after a long day of sight-seeing. Cabin is well kept and stocked with the essentials for your stay. Small, yet cozy. The pond is a very nice bonus. Our daughter really enjoyed the kayak and we enjoyed walking down and fishing for awhile in the mornings and evenings. We also enjoyed just sitting on the front porch and taking in the scenery. There was almost always a very nice breeze!! We had a few nice visits from the family cow. She was very friendly!! Our family of four would definitely recommend this location for a serene, relaxing getaway! Thanks again!!
Ronnie was very nice, the cabin was awesome! Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back again!
Ronald and his family were wonderful host, they checked on us to be sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a lovely view from the porch of the private pond. The fire pit was nice with wood there for you to use. Meeting the animals was wonderful, daisy the cow came and visited each afternoon for a head rub, a shepherd mix came every morning and kept us company on the porch as we drank our coffee and got ready for the day. It was perfect for a girls getaway. I will definitely return here to stay.
The Lilly Pad was the perfect getaway!
Our stay was very pleasent. The cabin was clean and tidy. It was even stocked with some essentials in case you forgot. The owner has a heart of gold. I would totally recommend the Lilly Pad
Simple get away with everything you need!
The cabin a new and is surrounded by beautiful country. Owners are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
It was perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay. The farm is so neat with the dogs and cows and chickens! The farm is secluded and with ATT we had zero cell phone reception. However the cabin is across the dirt road from an RV camper that can also be rented out. So you may have neighbors but I’m sure you can ask them before you go. Our understanding is that it shouldn’t be there much longer though. We got to visit with Kerri while we were fishing one night and she’s super friendly and knowledgeable about the area! The cabin felt a lot like Little House on the Prairie with us and our 3 little kids! It was just what we wanted though and hopefully we can stay again.
Take Firetower Road, off of highway 43. Go exactly 3.5 miles and turn left onto Stoverville Road. In 1.3 miles the Lilly Pad will be on your left, and you will see a 3 acre lake as well. (Do not turn left after Crossroads church, it will take you to Ponca down the mountain, the back way!)
