▶ Dining

▶ Fireplace
For insurance and fire safety reasons our fireplace is not available for guest use. Please do not attempt to use it.

▶ TV/Game Room
Roku TV; no standard cable. You may bring your own streaming device/log in to your own streaming service. Lots of games and puzzles are in the bookcase.

▶ Winter Reservations (Elevation 4,300')
Snow and icy conditions may occur during your stay. We recommend 4WD/AWD, and snow tires. Our long driveway is plowed, but can still be icy—please use caution. Since snowfall is typical in this area during the winter months, we do not offer refunds for weather-related issues or flight cancellations. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip.

▶ Wildlife & Insects (Rural Area)
This is a rural, mountain area and a native habitat for many animals and insects. These include deer, quail, wild turkeys, coyotes, bobcats, mice, snakes, spiders, wasps, flies, ants, bats, etc. Do not approach wildlife - even deer. Be mindful of your surroundings and do not allow pets off leash outside at any time (especially at night). Always supervise children on the property. Use caution when driving to/from the house at night in order to avoid the numerous deer in the area. We conduct regular pest control and inspections, but can't guarantee you won't see the occasional insect inside. We try to keep them out, but they're persistent "buggers" :-). We're located in a dry, high desert environment and dust is a part of that. We are meticulous about our cleaning, but can't guarantee you won't see some dust inside; especially in summer.

▶ Wildlife Alert - No Food/Drink Left Outside:
We are located in a mountain setting surrounded by native forest and wildlife. To help keep both guests and wildlife safe, please do not leave any food or beverages outside, in backpacks, or in your vehicle. Even small items such as a wrapped granola bar, gum, or empty drink containers can attract wildlife.

▶ Children & Pets - Safety:
Children must be supervised at all times and may not be left unattended anywhere on the property. We are in a rural mountain area with native wildlife. Children may not understand they should not approach, attempt to pet or feed wildlife. For your pet's safety, they should always be on leash outside due to wildlife in the area.

▶ Cell Phone Coverage & Internet
We have good cell phone coverage and WiFi speed.

▶ No Hunting/Fishing of any kind on the property

▶ Security Cameras & Recording Devices
For guest security, we have two, outward-facing, exterior security cameras that actively record audio and video when motion is detected. They overlook the front door, and the parking area in front of the garage. Cameras must remain unobstructed and not tampered with or disconnected.

▶ Property Exterior Maintenance
This is a large property with mature trees. We must perform brush clearing and other exterior maintenance periodically. We try to minimize this when guests are present. We will notify you if this will occur while you are staying with us.

▶ Additional Guest Fees
Additional guest fees may apply (per guest/per night), depending on the number of guests you indicate on your trip request.

▶ Summer/Holidays Peak Season Cancellation Policy: Non-refundable due to high demand and bookings far in advance. Very difficult to rebook cancelled dates for large groups. We realize unexpected situations arise, and we are happy to offer a full or partial refund (minus) fees if we are able to rebook the dates you reserved.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy this home because of the privacy, quiet and its proximity to lakes and rivers. We love having a little Paradise to come home to.

What makes this property unique

Our cedar home is very well constructed, with old growth blue pine through out. Solid oak flooring and Italian tile when you enter. We have wonderful drinking water; our well is about 300 feet deep! The home has a unique geothermal heating and cooling system. The clean air and the beautiful surroundings make you feel right at home. The wildlife you will see makes you feel like you’re in a nature preserve!
