Sunset Waterfront Resort is one of Kelowna’s primary lakeside resort accommodation located in the heart of downtown Kelowna. This luxury resort, and this suite offers panoramic views of the city, the west side mountains along with stunning views of Okanagan Lake. Located right on the Waterfront, there are kilometers of waterfront walkways offering visitors a relaxing park-like setting. You are within walking distance to coffee shops, stores, and restaurants as well as Playtime casino and The Match restaurant and live entertainment venues. Fancy taking a stroll or a jog, the waterfront board walk from Sunset Drive to the floating bridge and back is 5Km.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite features Lake and Lagoon views. The master provides a Queen bed with Ensuite, Queen bed in the second bedroom and a Queen sofa bed in the living room. This suite is equipped to accommodate 4 guests.

There are 2 TV’s located in the master bedroom, living room. Full cable service along with high speed internet, as well as extra towels and linens, washer and dryer and laundry supplies and a gas BBQ on the deck. Within the secured, undercover building parkade you will find a reserved SINGLE car space.

Amazing location and view!

The view was spectacular, and the location was perfect for a Kelowna beach week. Close to downtown, great food and action. The apartment was great! No clutter - all closets, drawers, etc were clear for us to use. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and a few spices. The only minor issue we encountered was that some of the dishes and pots weren’t at all clean. Perhaps the dishwasher hadn’t run properly for a load. The rest of the apartment was clean, so we didn’t feel it warranted losing a star. We would definitely stay here again! Recommended.

Our condo was right on the water with beautiful view. Perfect location, close to everything. Clean unit with everything we needed. Would stay again.

Needs some TLC

The suite is beautiful but needs some attention. - The large blind in the living room is broken, the string is broken on one side and completely missing on the other, it’s not possible to lift up and enjoy the amazing view. The reason we paid so much for a week was for the view and the access to the beach (which we didn’t realize required a 7 minute walk around the lagoon despite being out front of the building, this should be in the property description). The hook in the second bedroom that holds the blind up is broken, stripped out of the wall. - There are cigarette burns on the couch and a pillowcase and cigarette butts on the deck. - Neither of the bathroom fans work. One turns on but blows out instead of taking air in. The other doesn’t turn on at all. - There is build up on the BBQ grill. - While there are two big closets in the master bedroom, there are only 6 hangers to hang clothing. There are no hangers on the entry closet and only a handful in the second bedroom. Hangers are so cheap, it would be great to throw it 30+ more in the suite, so easy. - There is also insufficient space to unpack in the master bedroom, Just a couple drawers. And it would be nice to have a proper night table with a light on each side in the master bedroom. The furniture throughout the suite is dated. - Because there is a rule that disallows hanging towels on the balcony, more hooks and towel racks should be available in throughout. - One other major concern is the difficulty to open and close the sliding glass door to the deck. We are in and out all day long but of course keep the door closed in order for the air conditioning to work inside and to keep the forest fire smoke out. The door is extremely difficult to open and close. - 4 Adults in the suite should each have their own key fob. We were given 2 key fobs which meant when people were out doing things they would have to coordinate with each other to get in/around and run down to let the other in. I messaged the manager during our stay to report the above items and my message was ignored. Hence I'm making this information publicly available so you can decide for yourself if it's worth the money to stay. Due to the state of the suite and the lack of response from the manager, we won't be returning. Please give this potentially amazing suite a few small additions and some much needed maintenance so future guests will thoroughly enjoy their stay.
