Bienvenue sur DOOR 42! Notre maison est situĂ©e du cĂŽtĂ© nord de Sister Bay, sur la rue principale. Votre groupe et vous-mĂȘme n'ĂȘtes qu'Ă  1,5 km de la colline et en direction de la ville. Dans quelques secondes, attendez-vous Ă  la plage, au parc ou Ă  l'un des restaurants raffinĂ©s de Sister Bay, ainsi que des cafĂ©s et des glaciers! Notre chalet est parfait pour les couples et les familles.
La maison est pleine du caractĂšre du comtĂ© de Door et offre beaucoup d’espace pour votre retraite. N'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  m'envoyer un message si vous souhaitez en savoir plus!

Nous avons fourni de la documentation sur les environs, notamment des restaurants, des cartes, des brasseries, etc. J'espĂšre qu'ils pourront vous aider! L’un de nos restaurants prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©s pour les paysages est le Boat House, le Chop et le Wickman House. Un excellent petit-dĂ©jeuner est servi au Viking Grill, Ă  Ellison Bay ou au restaurant Caroll's de Sister Bay.

Wonderful property. Only very minor complaint is there are very few lamps (table or floor). Would like to see hoth in the living room and the 2nd king room some table lamps.Thank you for a lovely stay!

This house worked very well for our two families traveling together. We had 3 little kids and they had room to play and the house was safe and kid-friendly with plenty of space. Our kids rode bikes in the driveway and there is a fire pit. The kitchen is very well outfitted with all kinds of cooking gear. Wifi was reliable. No cable, but we didn’t mind. One bedroom we found a bit cramped and musty and discovered that the fan placed in that room was probably because there’s not great airflow, but it didn’t bother us much. The location is very close to town. We did walk to the ice cream shop and some adults did the walk into town or went for runs - however, the area is not very conducive to foot traffic, the road is narrow and hilly and people drive way too fast so if you’re taking the family into sister bay you’ll need to drive and park. We liked being super close also to Seaquist Cherries and a few other shops and restaurants in the opposite direction of town. Overall we had a great stay! Would recommend!

Fantastic location just minutes from downtown Sister Bay! There were plenty of towels and warm water for showers for our group of 8. The kitchen had all the basics. And, I really appreciated the nice clean floors! We’d love to stay again!

Thank you for opening your home. It was extremely clean, comfortable. We all loved that it offered a reverse osmosis system for our water. Very close to town. Would stay here again.

The setting is gorgeous and the house itself was comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the lovely back deck for morning coffee and to unwind at the end of the day.The kitchen was well stocked and making meals in was convenient and pleasant.Location can't be beat! Beautiful property. The house sits on beautiful wooded property. Just 3 minutes down the road is the water, beach and downtown life. I had the Best of both worlds. The hosts are amazing to work with.

Warm and homey on wooded property

We walked in and immediately felt comfortable and welcomed like special guests. Information about using the house and Info about Door County was left for us to read. The house is spacious and well-appointed. Cleanliness was excellent. The house is located off Route 42 but feels secluded upon arrival; the location is perfectly situated, closes to shops, restaurants, and Seaquist Farmers Market. This is an excellent property that I can recommend without reservation.

Perfect!

We had an amazing time in Door County and this house was the perfect location. Excellent and well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of bet rooms. Beds were super comfy. Loved being able to have a fire outside and enjoy fire-like ambiance inside too. Comfy living room space as well. What would’ve made it even more perfect is if you allowed dogs!

Weekend in door county

The home was very clean. It was stocked with everything you need. We were very happy that we picked this property. The only thing that was a little different was that there was no closet or anywhere to put your belongings in the second bedroom but the king size beds were comfortable. We definitely would recommend this property!

Girls Door 42 weekend

We had a great time! The house was beautiful and comfortable! It had everything we needed! It was so easy to get to the property great location! The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. The only suggestion I would have is putting some type of post with reflectors on it to where the driveways at so at night it’s easier to see without passing it up. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back! TY

Sister Bay House

Simply an excellent property. The kitchen was filled with all the pots, pans, dishes, silverware and appliances that we needed. The washer and dryer were an excellent touch and used quite often. The bedrooms were comfortable and pleasant. Overall, the location was perfect for exploring northern Door County

Great Door Co house!

This is the second time my family (husband and kids) have stayed at Door 42. We love it! It's a great location for the things we like to do. The house is great for hanging out and relaxing. A big upgrade since we last stayed - the beds! 2 new king beds replaced the queen beds. Would highly recommend. The house has plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows to make your stay comfortable.

Very nice place

We loved our stay Door 42! It’s on the outskirts of Sister Bay. The house was nicely decorated and furnished. Very clean and comfortable. Also very quiet nestled in the woods. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Such a great home away from home

Our family stayed at this property and it worked out great. The house is set off from the street so it gives you plenty of privacy and quiet. The backyard was lovely and the kids loved to roast marshmallows. We would love to come back and stay again.
