About this property
Spacious Loft Apartment with Parking and Laundry
Enjoy all the benefits of home in our comfortable and clean private apartment. Located centrally between Big Sky and Bridger Bowl Ski Areas and situated in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood, Valley West. A quick walk or bike ride will get you to nearby eateries. Just steps out the door are walking and biking trails around a lake. Air conditioning and eight large windows will keep you comfortable after a day on the trails and radiant floor heat will keep you warm and cozy after the slopes.
The space
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a drip coffee maker and tea kettle with local tea, coffee, and cream for you upon arrival. There is also a filtered water dispenser in the fridge, and plenty of condiments for your conveinience. The attached private bedroom has a very cozy queen bed with a large closet and dresser. Rest assured knowing there is a washer and dryer to keep your travels light and clean. The living area has books, games, and the TV is equipped with a Roku for streaming apps with your own subscription/log in credentials. We pay very special attention to cleanliness and hope you will notice our efforts.
Our neighborhood lake and playground is at the end of our street and and is great for taking a long walk around. You can also paddleboard/ kayak in the Summer and ice skate during the Winter.
We are located on the west end of Bozeman, near the entrance to Gallitan Canyon. Our street, Alexander, is one block off of Babcock St. A five minute walk to the south will get you to the Market at Ferguson Farms. This a development that has restaurants like, Sidewinders, Tanglewood, Nordic Brew Works and Hachi Sushi Pub. Foxtrot Cafe is located in the middle of the market and it anchors all these stores with an open air feeling and tons of lounge seating and tables. There are also a few boutiques, a reptile store and a grocery store being built as of summer 2023. We also love the Well Juicery, a cold pressed organic juice bar if you’re feeling healthy, or a really nice liquor store and cozy bar called Single Barrel if you’re feeling more spicy!
45 minute drive to Big Sky Resort, 1.5 hours to both the West and North entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Bridger Bowl, 30 minutes.
A quick drive over the pass to Livingston will get you to hotsprings, we love Chico Hotsprings, if you’re in the area stop at the Old Saloon beforehand!
We are also close to a stop on the free transit bus system, Streamline.
Guest access
The apartment is accessed in the alley behind our home. There is room for one vehicle and more free, off street parking if needed. The apartment is completely private from our home. You may hear the occasional garage door open or close, or see us coming and going. There is plenty of space in the apartment but feel free to let us know if you need any further gear storage, we will do our best to accomodate your needs.
Other things to note
*There is absolutley no smoking. Dogs that are friendly and well behaved are welcome with an extra fee.
* Reviews- since acquiring this property we have rented on another popular booking site and there are some reviews there you can see. VRBO has changed its terms and no longer lets reviews carry over from the previous owner (s). This has been a popular rental here for over ten years. Since Covid we have been doing a more long term rental but are ready for Summer 2021 bookings. Please feel free to notify us with any questions.

Montana requires a 7% bed tax which is reflected upon booking.

We love living in Bozeman and the neighborhood, Valley West, we chose to reside and raise our family in is considered one of the best. We hope you enjoy your stay with us! We are here to lend a hand in any way we can. We are happy to share our knowledge of the best hiking trails, restaurants and botiques. I am also an Esthetician so if you are looking to relax and unwind I can accomodate a spa service for you, or point you in the right direction for your specific needs.
Why they chose this property
We have lived in this neighborhood for almost 20 years. The lake, and walking trails are ideal for exercising your dog or just a an evening stroll. I'm sure you will notice when you stay with us that Bozeman has a very friendly and welcoming charm.
What makes this property unique
Located almost halfway between Bridger and Big Sky ski areas, we are so central here. In the cold months enjoy radiant in floor heat and lots of books and movie streaming. During the Summer enjoy a central location to rivers, lakes and world renowned hiking.
