Casa DV is a really great cute little cabana for the price.
Positives: It’s nicely appointed with a hammock to sit in on the porch, a small desk, coffee pot, microwave, hotpot and dishes. It’s on the southern side of the island far from the noisier parts near the bars and the big hotels. There’s a cute yard with a nice picnic table, AC (that I never used), and good water pressure.
Negatives: There are a couple of bikes, but I asked about using them using the email contact I had, but never heard back. Luckily the owner’s cousin was there doing maintenance, and he gave me the code. It’s not on the water, so if you want a water view, look elsewhere. Finally, it’s small. It was great for me solo, and while two people can definitely use the room (particularly if you’re used to backpacking), some couples might find it a bit cramped.
