About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + 1 Convertible bed, 1.25 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

Our condo is now occupied for the winter and from June 1st to November 1st 2018. We are however taking bookings from April 27th through May and from November 1st.

The HOA does not allow pets in the building.

Our condo includes a beautiful new bathroom with full sized washer and dryer, separate bedroom with queen sized bed and vanity unit. Sleeping sofa in the living area has an inner spring queen sized mattress for a great nights sleep.

Fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and travertine backsplash.

There is a shared indoor hot tub and outdoor heated pool on the ground floor.

We are sure you will be impressed with our lovely condo. It is ideal for a couple.

Our top floor condo is home for my wife's parents when they visit from Tasmania. They are avid skiers and enjoy the ease of stepping out the door and onto the bus that stops every 20 minutes. They take the quick ride up to the resort with their ski boots already on because the bus drops them very close to the lifts.

Sometimes they come home in the middle of the afternoon, have a cup of tea, a little rest and then go out to a restaurant for dinner. It is only a few steps away to one of a half dozen places on the block but sometimes it's back on the bus and up to historic Main Street for a stroll, nice meal and possibly a draught at one the pubs. On other days though, with a full day on the slopes, they stop off at the grocery store on the way home, have nice soak in the hot tub and settle in for the evening.

My mother-in-law occasional quits at lunch and goes shopping for the afternoon or hangs around the house sending emails to the folks back in Tasmania.

About Fran or Tim

This is a family owned condo. We all worked together to complete the remodel and are delighted with the results. My daughter and son in law are Ski Instructors at the Park City Mountain Resort and have been based in Park City for over 20 years. They love living in Park City year round. My husband and I live in Tasmania and use the condo as our base whenever we visit. We also love Park City and have now visited in winter (of course) as well as spring and summer. Only fall to go and we will have experienced all four seasons in this fantastic town.

We strive to provide our guests with a friendly, efficient and personalised service and are delighted when they book return visits. We have the great advantage of having owners living in Park City who are available to provide assistance by way of advice about local conditions or practical assistance if required.

Why Fran or Tim chose Park City

We bought this property to provide a home for family members when they visit Park City. Our family love Park City and have been associated with the area for many years. We really enjoy being in Prospector Square. It is central to all Park City has to offer and has easy access to the fantastic free shuttle service that can take you to Park City Mountain Resort, the Canyons Base and Deer Valley or Main Street in minutes. Theatres, grocery stores, sports shops, for skiing in winter or biking in summer, and restaurants are all in walking distance or by taking a short bus ride. Carriage House also offers off street parking. We enjoy meeting the owners of other condos in Carriage House. In the nine years we have been here there have been regular upgrades and improvements made to the building to keep it well maintained.

What makes this condo unique

This conveniently located condo has all the comforts of home. The well equipped kitchen allows you to make a home cooked meal if you wish to stay in after a hard days skiing, biking, golfing or sightseeing. We now have our own full sized washer and dryer in the condo enabling our guests to travel light!

Recent upgrades to digital cable means you can keep up with your favourite TV programs, free Wi Fi is also available. We enjoy meeting other guests in the large community hot tub where we swap stories and experiences at the end of the day. The Sundance Film Festival is held in Park City in January and our condo is in a great location to enjoy all the excitement of the event. The historic Main Street with its wonderful galleries, shopping, dining and museum is also on the free bus route as is bargain shopping at the Kimball Junction Outlet Stores. There is a full gym in the next block. With the close proximity of all services a car is not a necessity when staying at Carriage House.

Nice, budget friendly condo

We stayed here with our 2 kids (ages 8 & 10).

The condo is very clean and some items are updated. Also, the owners are the most responsive I've ever dealt with through VRBO/HomeAway. They communicate very well.

The kitchen worked well for us. Keep in mind though, that there is no fan over the stove, so don't do anything that creates smoke.

The kids stayed on the pull-out sofa bed. The mattress is not the best, so we used extra blankets as mattress pads to smooth out the springs. Adults would probably want to avoid it.

Unfortunately, the snow was not the best while we were there, so we spent more time in the condo than expected. Even though the binder says the wifi was upgraded, I found it very, very sluggish. Also, the TV is standard definition, which is like looking through glasses smeared with vaseline. I know its trivial, but it's something I noticed.

Tolle Wohnung, Skigebiet und Restaurants gut erreichbar

Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht bestückt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und reagieren prompt, wenn es Probleme gibt. Sehr angenehm war es, nach einem Ski Tag den Whirlpool benutzen zu können. Die Bushaltestelle für den kostenlosen Bus ist gleich vor der Türe, der Bus fährt alle 20 min nach Park City Mainstr, zum Supermarkt und zum Skigebiet. Einige Restaurants gibt es in Fußlaufreichweite. Die Schlafcouch ist groß genug für 2 Personen und einigermaßen bequem. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist zwar auch für 2 Personen vorgesehen, uns war es aber zu schmal und mir persönlich viel zu weich, man kullerte quasi gleich in die Mitte, wenn dort 2 Personen schlafen wollten. Im Schlafzimmer hörte man die Heizung und Kühlschrank nicht mehr. Zum schnellen heizen gibt es im Schlafzimmer eine seperate Heizung, die aber sehr laut ist. Die Türen zum Bad und Schlafzimmer sollten geöffnet bleiben, damit dort auch eine angenehme Temperatur herrscht. Gut eingerichtete Küche mit Spülmaschine, Backofen, Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle und ausreichendem Geschirr sowie Gewürze, Öl, Essig, Kaffee, Kakau...Im schönen Bad ausreichende Handtücher, Fön, Duschgel und Schampoo sowie Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I just got back from a long weekend in Park City and absolutely loved staying at Fran and Tim's condo. It was the perfect size for the two of us and the location was great! We were able to take advantage of being close to both Park City Mountain and the Canyons. There was a grocery store very close by and the kitchen was well equipped, we were able to have most meals there. It was so great to have such a clean nice condo waiting after a long day on the slopes! We will definitely be coming back!
