The beauty of this property is the multiple sleeping spaces, patios and wide open spaces around the house. Perfect for families with energetic kiddos who love to explore.

My 25 year old son and I spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. If you're looking for beautiful views in a secluded and quiet location you would be hard-pressed to find a better place! The views from the deck are so great. We enjoyed hiking South Llano River State Park which was an easy 35 minute drive from the house. Will definitely come back!

The host was especially nice with whom to work. We enjoyed the solitude of the location, yet Fredericksburg is just a stone's throw away. The house was cozy and met all of our needs.
Good place for me and my brother to meet between West Texas and Austin area. Very quiet and secluded. Nice stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and exploring the property. Thanks for listing such an awesome property. Hope to be back soon!

Thank you for your comments. Thank you for choosing Jordan's Journey.

Its as advertised. Just a small older cabin on an old cattle ranch with a huge wrap around front deck, perfect to watching the sunset. Very clean and cabinet and fridge were stocked with essentials. WifI needs a boost.
We had the most wonderful time! This home is amazing! The photos do not do justice to the surrounding views and the porch is meant for relaxing. We made wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back! Be sure to make time
to play gold in Utopia, eat at Lost Maples Cafe, pick fruit at one of the orchards, go to the Pacific War Museum and play cards on the deck! Many wonderful memories!

Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. We are looking forward to your return visit!
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. So we wanted to getaway out in hill country. There were many places to choose from but not as secluded as this one.
Thank you Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It had basically everything we needed for a perfect week getaway.
This place is in a perfect location because it’s only 30 minutes away from several little towns to shop and explore in.
There were so many deer on the road to the house. I made my husband slow down just so we could enjoy them as we drove by.
We made friends with this mama dove as we sat on the veranda. Apparently she had a nest with two eggs in the tree next to it.
If you want to getaway from it all this is the place yet still close enough to shopping and things to do🥰

Find this Gem for my sister and I for a weekend getaway. House is very clean. Beautiful views. Hot tub works well. Enjoyed being close enough to Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Junction, but able to come back to a Lovely Peaceful Home. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us. :)
Great views from the large deck. Bedrooms spacious & lounge comfortable.
Steep stairs inside - may not be suitable for old folks or those with young children.

We arrived July 4 and stayed until the 7th. The property was everything it said it was and then some. The owner was extremely helpful. She went over and above to make sure our stay was what we were expecting. If you are looking for peace and relaxation this is the place for you. We are already looking to see when we can go back.

About the host

We've lived in the Texas Hill Country area since 1974. A Native of Mississippi but my husband is a Native from Houston Texas and we both consider ourselves Texans first. We also have a daughter who will be 13 in October of 2018. We currently reside near by this property, in Kerrville Texas.
Why they chose this property
Family owned property and land that has been in the same family for over 5 generations. Renovated in 2018, top to bottom, for your comfort. Enjoy your stay here, in our home, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy a quiet and relaxing Hill Country get away. We're located ideally between Kerrville Texas, Fredericksburg Tx, and the summer camps and attractions in near by Ingram and Hunt Texas. Kerrville has become a festival destination, hosting many arts and crafts fair, the state wide popular folk music festival, and a host of annual triathlons etc. Fredericksburg is quickly becoming one of the top tourist destinations in the state - hosting many special and seasonal events - and being the home of too many wineries to count!
