Escape to this beautiful retreat surrounded by picturesque ferns on beautiful Lake Henderson. Relax on a screened in porch in one of the most utilized rentals around! Our piece of paradise offers a private dock with stunning views of the sunset and scenic native plants. Lounge on the back deck and grill your favorite meal. Be wonderstruck by personalized touches, customized light fixtures and knotty pine ceilings. Bring the family as the second bedroom offers two twin sized beds!

This home is a retreat from the hubbub of life. Surrounded by water and nature helping calm nerves and restore peace! This home is accessible by golf cart. You must be 16 years or age or older to drive the cart. Limited to 4 guests. All guest must be on the reservation. Dogs are welcomed however they must be preapproved before arrival. This includes service pets. Dog Fee $50

Welcome to Airboat Territory. The Cove is the only restaurant on Lake Henderson available by boat. We get plenty of pleasure craft and airboats as customers. Airboats are fun to watch, but can be noisy.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home! This home is intended for the use of the reserved guest only. Guest staying on the property must be added to the reservation. The use of this facility for parties, events or meetings is expressly prohibited unless pre-approved by the facilities manager.

We spent a week in the bungalow to celebrate retirement. We could not have been happier with our choice. The bungalow was comfy and cozy. Cold beer at the Cove was an added plus.

The Cove cruise stay

It was everything we hoped for. just from the pictures and description online I kind of thought it would be further out by itself, but this was no problem, we booked this just because you had to have a golf cart to get to it but it was in perfect location to food and drinks. We will look for this booking again if we are ever in the area.

A Perfect Lakeside Retreat in the Woods

This property is simply amazing. We were seeking a peaceful getaway in the woods near water and hiking, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin is well-maintained, clean, filled with natural light, and surrounded by lush greenery. The added bonus of a golf cart made exploring the property even more enjoyable. We were thrilled to find out we could dock our boat right in front of the house, so we quickly hooked it up and brought it along. The lake is stunning, with plenty of open spaces and scenic canals to explore. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, offering great food, drinks, and a great atmosphere—we dined there both days. Each morning, we enjoyed having coffee on the screened-in porch, enjoying the tranquil water views and the sounds of nature. We’ve already started looking at dates for our next visit. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place

This was such a cute cabin. Although it isn’t large the four of us never felt crowded. The lania was a wonderful place to just sit out and enjoy nature. When you are there you feel like you are out in the wild but really you are only five minutes from downtown. Having the Pub and Grub so close was great too. I think we had the bread puddind every night it was available.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this area 10 years ago. Having been customers of the restaurant, we wondered about the possibility of purchasing the property when available. Our dream came true 2 years ago and we have been working non stop to make much needed improvements and create a space for all to enjoy. The property has much local history and the "ole timers" tell us stories all the time about what used to go on at The Cove. This is a hidden local favorite enjoyed by families. We host weddings, corporate events or private special occasions. We love this house and wonder everyday why we don't move in! Our home is also located on the property closer to the restaurant but this house is so darn cute!
