It features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and is only 25 yards from the ocean. It is a perfect oceanfront condo to relax and rejuvenate on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Upon entering the condo, you are greeted with an easy beach vibe and open concept living space. The panoramic oceanfront view is perfect from every spot. There is plenty of space to relax in the living room to watch a movie, or enjoy a nice meal at the dining table. The kitchen overlooks both of these areas and is large enough to prepare a delicious Lowcountry meal. Step onto the oceanfront balcony where you can admire the waves and salty air just steps from the condo. The first bedroom contains a king sized bed, and can be found on the first floor. It has its own TV, and semi-private bathroom that also opens to the hall.

The second floor features the other two bedrooms. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a TV, and private bathroom. The third bedroom, the master, has a King bed, TV, private bathroom, and impeccable oceanfront views. What better way to wake up to than the gorgeous splashing waves! Washer and dryer can also be found on the second floor, making laundry a breeze.

There is access to the Mariners Walk community pool just out the front door! (Seasonal)

Exactly as pictured. Easy check in. On the beach even when the wind and rain kept us away. But the windows and balcony made it possible for us to enjoy the beach 24/7.

The View Overshadowed The Issues

We checked in on Thursday evening, and discovered Friday morning that the refrigerator was not functioning. We contacted the property management team and they offered for us to move to another unit. We opted to stay and they provided coolers and ice for our perishables. On Friday evening, the internet went out to the unit and the team was unable to fix that at all. We also had no cable in the living area but was able to have that in the bedrooms. The unit has a beautiful view but is in need of some updates. The general cleanliness of the unit was okay but noticed some food stains on the baseboards in the kitchen. Someone had left their underwear in the drawer in the downstairs bedroom. We did receive some compensation for the inconvenience with the refrigerator but was promised a call on Monday to discuss the internet issues. To date, no one has followed up with us. Overall, the unit was okay…dated a bit but okay. We understand nothing is perfect. The policy on early check in and late check outs is ridiculous and a money scheme. Have some common courtesy and allow it when you can without trying to get more money.

Quick little getaway

Perfect location with great views! The only thing complaint is that the TV in the master upstairs would not connect we tried to get it to work an Amazon prime would not, and the only thing other than that would have been better since we were traveling with a four-year-old and two-year-old would be a safety lock at the top of the front door as well as the balcony sliding glass door however those are all minor things that can all be fixed, note: we did not get reach out to the property owners about the TV as it was not a big of a deal. This was a very kid friendly unit that accommodated all of our needs, we would definitely stay here again.

View and location was fantastic! However, I have stayed in other Mariner's Walk condos and this one needed an upgrade and some TLC. It showed it's age. Sorry, just being truthful.

Great getaway

This property is in a great location with a wonderful view of the beach and a very easy short walk on the boardwalk to the beach. It was very clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! The only thing we wish we had was bigger bathrooms, but it worked. Overall, it was great for our family.

I wouldn’t spend this much money on a vacation normally. The convenience of the beach/ocean was incredible. Absolutely loved how you could be with those you were with, yet have the privacy of the upstairs.

Wonderful experience

We truly had a wonderful experience vacationing at this location. Steps from the ocean and pool. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the waves come in. We are fond of Wild Dunes due to the beautiful landscape and bike paths. This rental had all the accommodations needed for our family.

Annual Girls' Trip

Sisters-in-law and daughters have been taking a 4 day trip together for 9 years, except 2020. We try to find a place equidistant from Florida and North Carolina. My son was married at Wild Dunes some years ago, so we knew we'd like the area. We want to be on the beach with great views, near restaurants, and comfortably accommodated. 12D ticked all the boxes. Having the pool was a great bonus. We loved the way the house was laid out. Having 3 bathrooms was terrific. Everything was quiet and we all slept well with lots of pillows and comfy beds. We will be back!

Perfect Moms weekend

We LOVED this place for our Moms weekend away. The view was stunning and beach was quiet and private, just what we needed and wanted for our weekend away. The place had plenty of space and the deck was perfect for our afternoon wine and appetizers. Mariners Walk 12D

Overall I give the condo a 4 but the building/facilities a 3. The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfy. The view was lovely with quick access to the pool and beach. The pool was tucked back a bit which provided nice relief from the windy days we had. We had 3 adults and two children (ages 4 and 7) and we just fit in the condo. It was very nice to have 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies. There were no kids cups or plates and the stemless wine glasses were all glass but one. It would have been nice to have had some beach/pool friendly cups and plates. The building and boardwalk are in desperate need of an upgrade. Many boards on the walkway were loose, there were nails popping up, and the steps to the beach were a bit treacherous for my elderly mother-in-law (luckily there was a ramp on the other side of the building but we had to cut through vegetation to access it). The condo had been updated but not the windows or doors which were very old and dirty (the windows did not open). Despite the upgrade, the condo showed it's age in the trim, doors, windows, wall cracks, and stair/upstairs carpet. There was no community recycling bin so we had to take that somewhere else which was inconvenient.

Fantastic spot!

We had a fabulous week enjoying IOP and Charleston from our home base at Mariners Walk. The condo itself is well appointed, clean, and modern, with all the conveniences needed to relax and unwind. We baked brownies, cooked meals, made smoothies, all with the equipment provided in the kitchen. The oceanfront location was amazing, with spectacular sunrise views from the master newsroom and the deck. We rented bikes and a beach chair/umbrella package with daily setup that made it so easy to enjoy ourselves. Two additions would be welcomed - a full length mirror in at least one bedroom (or all of them!), and hooks in the bathrooms for towels/robes. All in all, a top notch stay!

Wild Dunes: week of 3/20/21

We had a great week for our spring vacation. The weather was beyond our expectations as was our view from our deck. We rented 12D for the oceanfront view and it did not disappoint! Daily sunrises on the balcony became a morning ritual. The condo itself was well stocked with everything we needed. The kind size beds and multiple pillows were very nice,I do prefer a firmer mattress and pillows so my suggestion would be to bring your own pillow if you can. A few of the doors squeaked and could use some attention but overall I would stay in this condo again. A few minor issues were resolved on the first day with a quick phone call to the rental company. I had to call twice and I got excellent service from the rental company. Check-in and out was "contactless" and very easy. We had a wonderful week with great weather, and will return!
