The Creole is located just off the Lafitte Greenway and only 1 mile from the French Quarter. This neighborhood is one of the most historical parts of the city, with beautiful city parks, above-ground cemeteries, interesting architecture, and local bars and eateries known for their quirky and eclectic local flavors. Guests enjoy staying here to get a sense of living like a local and how convenient the location is.

Getting Around: Being in Mid City means there’s plenty for you to see and do on foot, but if you’re looking to explore the rest of the city, staying here makes that easy! The Creole is located only 3 short blocks from the iconic Canal Streetcar line, making it easy to head over to all the other famous districts in the city, like the French Quarter, Central Business District and Uptown. You can also get to the different districts by taking the Lafitte Greenway by bike or on foot. For your convenience, Uber & Lyft also have a solid presence in the city with a base fare of $1.25
