2 Bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house with mezzanine is located in a private gated community at the bottom of the hills of Playa Hermosa. A unique bungalow style house is surrounded by lush vegetation and amazing jungle views where toucans, iguanas, macaws and monkeys visit regularly. There is an onsite community pool and rancho available for renters' use. Less than a 5 minute drive to a world class surf break (2.4 km).

Bamboo Bungalow

This property is in a great location. It's in a gated community that is off the beaten path and quit. Amy is very attentive and easy to contact. When we return will stay here again.

Great stay in Playa Hermosa

We stayed for 3 nights at this cozy cottage in playa hermosa. It was very clean, easy check in, and Amy was accommodating. The location is quite a ways off the beach and the pool is not right at the house, but it is a private and secluded community and we felt very safe. This property is non refundable, so consider that in your travel plans. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful Home in a gated community

This home is beautiful we loved sitting on the deck listening to the jungle !! Big view windows in the bedroom overlooking the amazing views!! And All the convinces of home!! A/C community pool washer and dryer and everything you need for cooking. It’s A short walk to Playa Hermosa however you do cross a busy highway but we walked it easily and my husband and I are in our 60’s !! Also if your planning to visit Jaco its close too with lots of restaurants bars music and surfing!! Not walking distance but we rented a Motorcycle or taxis are about 15 dollars into Jaco!! Amy was very attractive even though she was having a family emergency..But she made sure we had everything we needed!! We will definitely will stay here again when we go back to Jaco!! A must see the pictures don’t so it justice!! It’s beautiful ☺️

Amy’s house Playa Hermosa

We stayed in Amy’s house Feb26 to March 10 2020 to be close to the beaches in the area. The place was clean when we arrived despite the hard water mineral buildup on the kitchen sink and shower. The house did not have a TV as advertised, it had a computer monitor. Amy was quick to respond by bringing down a DVD player that provided internet access of Netflix and youtube which helped but without the correct remote it was awkward. We enjoyed the birds and the iguana living under the patio stones he ate most of our mango and banana peals. I would however make a point that the upstairs bed and half bath is not suitable for youngster or oldsters. The stairs are steep and aggressively pitched, technically its a ladder but once up there it was very comfortable with it’s own AC. The king bed in the master was also comfy. The shared pool had no shallow end and access was by ladder only. Amy was very friendly and helpful with local info such as restaurants, bars, farmers markets, beaches and attractions. All in all we enjoyed our time at Amy’s house and would recommend it.

Amazing Hidden Gem

We had such a good stay in Playa Hermosa at Amy’s place. She was so helpful and welcoming. The cabin had a great view of the jungle canopy from the porch, we enjoyed sitting out there every morning and afternoon. The rooms were very comfortable and we had plenty of towels for our 3 guests to use which was awesome. The community pool was really pleasant and very private surrounded by lush gardens. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend anyone to enjoy this spot in Playa Hermosa!

Lovely days in Paradise

We have rented the house for one month. The house is located in a gated quite and silence community, with friendly neighbours. The house is in perfect conditions, everything working as it should. We high light the shower, with a huge amount of water, pressure and awesome temperature. Amy, the landlord, was very friendly and she was taking care of everything we demmand asap. she provide us with very good tips to enjoy the nature around the area. Without any doubt, it is a place where we will come back. P.D. Amazing atmostphere during sunrise and sunset, spooting tucanos and red macaous from bed!!!! Maria & Javier from Spain
