Il y a deux grandes chambres, un roi et une reine. La grande salle a beaucoup d'espace pour se dĂ©tendre. Il y a aussi une salle d'entraĂźnement avec un tapis roulant, TRX, des poids et un entraĂźneur pour votre vĂ©lo. La kitchenette Ă©quipĂ©e comprend des comptoirs en granit, un Keurig, une plaque chauffante, un four micro-ondes et un grille-pain. Une entrĂ©e privĂ©e vous offre tous les avantages d'une location de maison entiĂšre avec le service client haut de gamme d'un B&B. C'est une escapade parfaite pour les couples ou les familles prĂȘts Ă  s'Ă©vader et Ă  se dĂ©tendre!

Nous sommes situés dans la ville de La Grange, à seulement 16 km d'UW Whitewater, à 16 km d'Alpine Valley, à 32 km du lac Léman et à moins d'une heure de route de Madison et de Milwaukee.

Les attractions locales en plus des pays nordiques, John Muir et Emma Carlin incluent Scuppernong, Lapham Peak et Old World Wisconsin. Nous avons Ă©galement un certain nombre d'expĂ©riences locales que nous pouvons vous proposer, notamment des cours de cuisine, des visites du parc d'État, des cours de vitrerie de poterie et la fabrication de bougies. Really relaxing and lovely property for a couple or family. Visited with my wife and 2 kids (9 & 10). Didn't leave the property for the entire 3 days. Used the pool, walked around the neighborhood, and visited the animals A LOT. The house itself is very nice, tasteful and comfortable. Lots of extra touches make it nice, little bits of food, drink and fresh eggs. My son fell in love with an alpaca and cried when we left. So we will probably be back.

Wonderful and secluded rental

The Den is a lovely getaway from the world. You can hike right up to the Nordic trail in the Southern KM. The area has some fun sights/restaurants and the owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable. It really has a rustic feel with modern amenities. There are alpacas, chickens, goats etc. The dogs were fun to play with as well. I would stay again!

Excellent Hosts and Property

Jarvis and Chris host their VRBO at their stunning home, nestled in the Kettle Moraine Woods. They were the most gracious and kind hosts, and their property is full of peace and joy, serenity and opportunities to explore nature. We were dazed by hummingbirds and woodpeckers while also enjoying visits to their chickens, alpacas, and their sweet dog Sophie. We will absolutely return, thank you so much for a great weekend!

Stunning Property!

We loved every minute of our stay! The home and property are stunning! The grounds are immaculate with spectacular gardens and blooming flowers! We felt we awoke to a paradise! The house was sparkling clean and we wished we could have stayed longer! They had thought of everything from bacon and eggs to beverages and everything in between. Our daughter adored collecting eggs and visiting all their beautifully maintained farm animals. Hope we can come again!

So much to discover and enjoy!

We were met by our amazing hosts when we arrived and given a great tour of the whole property. From the beautiful gardens to the fun farm animals—the outdoor space was so well cared for and breathtaking. Chris and Jarvis thought of everything for our visit and were so generous and thoughtful. The bed and living area were very comfortable. Everything was clean as can be. Communication was perfect. Location was great for our visit to Alpine Valley Music Center. I would love to stay here again for another concert or even just for a quiet getaway!

Great location

We were greeted by the owner and was given a tour of the property (beautiful). The accommodation's were clean and beds were very comfortable. They had bread and danish on the counter, eggs and a couple beers in the fridge. Would recommend this to anyone!

A gem

This getaway to the Nordic Den far exceeded our expectations. We savored every moment. A lovely house situated in beautiful surroundings, and with a number of wonderfully cared-for animals who want for nothing. The love of and respect for nature and its creatures are so very apparent. Thank you, Jarvis and Chris, for making possible such an amazing fall weekend. What a special place. We will be returning!

Beautiful, relaxing place!

My husband and I and one other couple were in the area for a wedding this weekend and wanted to stay somewhere relaxing that wasn't a hotel. We are all homesteaders at heart, just haven't found the right piece of land yet, so it was absolutely wonderful to get to meet and play with all of the goats, chickens, ducks, alpacas, and of course the very sweet donkey, mule, and pony. The property is stunningly beautiful and Chris and Jarvis were so welcoming. We were given eggs from the chickens, bacon, pastries, bread, and a bottle of wine and told that if we needed anything else, including more eggs, just ask. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of towels and bedding. The back porch and pool area were lovely. Chris recommended a local supper club for Friday fish fry, The Nitingale, which was delicious. Our only regret was that we were only there for the weekend and had to spend most of Saturday at the wedding! We will definitely be back. :)

The Den

What a weekend! Myself and my children just experienced the most relaxing weekend at The Den! Such a clean and beautifully maintained property with the most welcoming and accommodating hosts! My kids got to pick fresh chicken eggs, and a quail egg- then got to cook them right up fresh! We will definitely be returning!

Holiday Getaway

Great property to stay at! Jarvis greeted us when we arrived. Showed us around. He’s very personable. Answered all our questions. Very quiet peaceful area. My adult children loved the different animals that were here. Very calm and taken care of. We loved all the extras( snacks, wine, bacon and eggs from their chickens). 10 Stars!!

We absolutely loved staying at this place and can’t wait to come back. Jarvis and Chris were incredible - super friendly, gave us great recommendations of things to check out, and had everything we needed + more. The property is stunning. Gorgeous woods surround it and they have beautiful perennial gardens all around. We adored the animals too - dogs, goats, alpacas, and more. Make sure to give Austin the goat some extra pets when you visit. The area is awesome. Lots of things to do from hiking trails in the backyard to kayaking to brewery visits. We were there to see shows at Alpine Valley and it was a quick easy drive to and from the venue. Can’t recommend this place enough. We hope to be back soon!!

Serenity... with kids!

I couldn't be more happy with this experience. There was enough activity locally to keep kids (7&8) engaged while accessing opportunities nearby. Chris and Jarvis were welcoming and responsive. The kids fed the goats and alpacas and collected fabulous eggs from the coop. We feel completely relaxed after a lovely long weekend.

A feast for the eyes!

We have stayed at numerous rental properties over the years and this home was above and beyond our expectations!! So much to enjoy and explore! From the collection of unique antiques inside the home to the beautiful landscaping and grounds outside, everything was top notch and perfect! We felt instantly welcome and had so much fun visiting all of the animals! They are all well cared for and truly living their best lives!! Jarvis & Chris, the owners, are so personable and their hospitality is superb! All of the extras (snacks, beverages, eggs, danishes, and bacon!) were more than we could have hoped for! We will definitely stay here again!

Unique & Welcoming!!

What an amazing place to stay! Stop by and see the animals with your coffee in the AM. The hosts were so helpful and responsive, we couldn’t ask for more! Check out Edge of Town diner for a spot on breakfast too!

Absolutely perfect accommodations on gorgeous, quiet property

Jarvis was a wonderful host on an even more wonderful property. Nestled in a quiet wooded area, this property was one of the cleanest and relaxing properties we have stayed. The space was clean and very quiet, even with provided snacks! We had everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway. Plus there are many fun animals on property and unique amenities (Firepit, grill and pool) to enjoy. We will be recommending this property to any friends and family travelling to the area and will be staying again when we return! If I could give 6 stars, I would!! You will not be disappointed here.

We love the outdoors. Whether that's hiking, biking, skiing or just watching all of mother natures beauty! Our property sits on 6.5 acres in the rolling hills and trees of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Our location has allowed us a chance to enjoy the beauty of the forest and create a great little farm filled with chickens, goats and Alpacas!
