This was a beautiful home and fit our needs perfectly! It was very clean and well maintained. Our host communicated well and was very prompt to respond to our questions. We especially enjoyed the peaceful afternoons, relaxing on the dock, evenings around the fire pit table on the deck, and the many spaces in the house where we could visit with our family. I can't say enough good things about this home. We will certainly be back, and would love to stay longer next time!

This was probably the best house we stayed at the lake over past 6 years. Clean, spacious, with many nice sitting/hangout arrangements for groups to spread. Very large bedrooms, comfortable beds and clean linens and towels. All bedrooms had darkening drapes/window coverings for longer sleepers. Very nice views from almost every space in the house over the lake. Gorgeous landscaping, great 2 story deck with firepit and sitting looking over the lake. Absolutely amazing dock with full cover, partial shade and sunny areas for all weather. Many watertoys (kayaks, floats, boards, a huge green floater was a hit), conveniently placed water hose to wash off any sand or fish cleaning. Just amazing house from all aspects! Definitely will be on our list to come back next year.

Beautiful property

So spacious and great for a family or large group. The beds are very comfortable. The decor is very nice and the dock is really great. Very accessible location both on and off the water.

highly recommend!

Our group had such an amazing trip at this house - the dock has everything you need and more. All the kids had blast playing on the floating lake pad/mat and we loved the large outdoor table for meals. Each room is spacious and exactly as advertised.

Amazing luxury lakefront home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is gorgeous inside and out with lots of personal and artistic touches. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and marinas and the neighborhood is lovely. We will definitely try to stay there again. I would highly recommend booking this home.

Family Favorite

This was our second visit to this spectacular home. It is so charming and comfortable. Our adult children all walked in saying..."Hey, we're home!!" It has all the amenities that make it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy quality time with your family.

Beautiful, well appointed and situated home

This house was perfect for 7 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was incredibly equipped for meal preparation and we found everything we needed for a long weekend to enjoy our time together. The cove is quite and nice for floating and swimming even for very young children. The host is very sweet and helpful. Easy to book, enjoyable to stay!

Great Property and Amenities

Our party of 8 (6 adults and 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake. Kirsten is an excellent host and communicator. The house was stocked with essentials. Location was perfect. We loved the dock, which was well equipped with seating, kayaks, rope swing, and diving board. We highly recommend this property!

Gorgeous property & home . First time at the lake and it was wonderful. Super fun. Boat dock was so nice to wake up to. Breezy point Lane boat launch was easier for us to use than the neighborhood Gangplank launch.

Amazing SML stay!

We had such an amazing weekend. This house was soooo nice. Everything in the house was top quality all the way down to the sheets and the towels. This house had everything we could have wanted for a fun lake weekend. Kirsten was an amazing host and everything went smooth with checking it. We’re definitely staying here again for our lake weekends. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.

A magical home and location!

This is our second year returning to this house because it’s just so perfect. The location overlooking the water, the beautiful dock, and the gorgeous home and all of its accoutrements are a great way to spend a week at SML. We’re already talking about booking for next year! We had a small inconvenience at the beginning of the trip which the owners were so apologetic about, and they more than made up for by graciously letting us stay longer — it was such a nice surprise. A Family Gathering Gem

Our stay at Kirsten's home surpassed our expectations! We loved the home, its location and the attention to details especially for a family like ours who love to play games, boat, kayak, and eat home cooked meals. The appliances in the house are top rate, the ping pong table was used continuously and the fire pit was an added bonus for the cool evenings. Kirsten is a terrific host who communicates honestly and in a timely manner. The home is expensive and worth every penny! We will want to stay here again in the future. Our adult children thanked us many times over for finding such a wonderful house to stay.

5 Star property on the lake

A spectacular property all around, the pictures really don’t do it justice! It has an excellent layout that provides both privacy for getting school and remote work done (including a great home office set up), but it also has great gathering areas for the family after work. The interior has high-end designer furnishings throughout, including the kitchen appliances, TV's, streaming services, and Wifi which are all state of the art. The view from the kitchen, sitting room, and deck were all perfect for sunrises and the tabletop firepit was a great addition for the evenings. The exterior is just as wonderful with a beautiful selection of flowers, plants, and trees that are meticulously landscaped. And the large dock area provided great family relaxation time down by the water. Even the garage and covered entry way was great to have, since we arrived during a thunderstorm. There was clearly a lot of thought put into this property as it provides plenty of comforts and amenities for both kids and adults, and it really shows!

Beautiful House!

We had an amazing stay at Kirsten's property! More than enough room to spread out and the kids loved the bunk room! The screened in porch on the lower level was perfect to enjoy the thunderstorms! Plenty of lifejackets for everyone which we used everyday for swimming. The diving board and rope swing was so much fun (as I was told), and so much room in the cove for swimming right off the dock. Fishing off the dock was also fun. Lots of little perch and some huge catfish in the evening. The kitchen was great for cooking up meals for the 11 of us, and the beds were so comfy! Loved the open concept of the house. While the pictures show how beautiful the home is, they still don't show how open the kitchen is to everything! The only issue (minor issue) we had was getting the TV on the top level to connect to the internet to watch movies. We have some older generation homebodies in our family that wanted to watch tv, and my brother was able to connect his laptop to the wifi and the tv, so they could watch something. Not a big deal to me as most of us were on the lake all day, and Kirsten was quick to respond about it. Location was perfect! Can get to most of everything within a 20 to 30 minute drive. Definitely recommend Kirsten's lake house, you won't regret it!

SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE

This home is absolutely beautiful and the property was awesome. We went to celebrate Thanksgiving and I was very impressed with the kitchen. Our grandchildren had fun fishing off the dock. The host was always available and made our stay so much more pleasurable by proving us with all of her thoughts and suggestions on what to do in Smith Mountain Lake. Would definitely go to this property again.

Perfect lake house

This house was just perfect for our friends and family to get together. The house was clean and had lots of room. The location was great and quiet. We enjoyed spending all day on the lake floating and jumping off the diving board. Cannot wait to come back again and enjoy this great property!!

Utterly fantastic home

We visited with 3 adults and 6 teens — this house had tons of space and the perfect room configurations. We loved lounging on the dock couches/swings and magic carpet during the day, as well as sitting at the firepit table on the high deck off the living room for breakfast and after dark. The cove is lovely and quiet, the home is near lots of amenities, and the owner was super helpful and responsive when we had a few questions. Already dreaming of next year!

Lovely Vacation Home

This is a beautiful home on the lake with all the amenities and conveniences for a week’s vacation. The house is situated in a quiet cove and we loved spending time on the dock and enjoyed using the kayak and floats. Kirsten was prompt to replying to all of our questions. Incredible Smith Mountain Lake getaway for the family!!

If you are looking for a home right on the water at Smith Mountain Lake that has a little something for everyone, this is the house for you! The view alone from the top deck is incredible, but the house has so much character and even our kids were on cloud 9 our entire stay. The owners were incredible to work with and we would recommend this house to anyone!

Location—Great by land and water. We’re ideally located just off the main channel at R25, right in the center of SML, making it easy to get anywhere on the lake. You’re also only a 10-minute drive to the Westlake Village shopping area, with quick access to restaurants, groceries, and local attractions.

Cove & Sunny Dock—Made for lake days. Our neighborhood’s deep-water cove keeps things calmer with minimal boat traffic, so kids can swim more safely. The dock gets great sun and is set up for fun with a diving board, rope/tree swing, and plenty of lake toys.

Stylish & Comfortable—A true retreat. This is not “leftover furniture land.” The home is thoughtfully styled with upscale furnishings, artwork, and finishes—comfortable, elevated, and family-friendly. With multiple gathering spaces, there’s room for adults to relax, kids to play, and game lovers to hang out.

Well-Stocked Amenities—Pack lighter. We provide linens, paper products, and everyday essentials, plus helpful extras like spices, hairdryers, and soap—and of course, lake toys are included. Just bring your beach towels!
