We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gene's place, even though unfortunately a nor'easter blew through while we were there. Gene was very responsive to a couple questions I had. The place was very clean and comfortable. It is steps away from the beach and has a great view from the deck. It is in a centrally located area for touring around the Outer Banks area. I would highly recommend Gene's place for a great stay in the Outer Banks!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! The space was absolutely gorgeous and had the cutest turtle theme throughout, which added such a fun and charming touch. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming.The ocean view was beautiful, and we loved having direct beach access right from the deck or conveniently from the parking lot. It made enjoying the beach so easy!The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing beach getaway. We would love to stay here again!

Great clean property right on the beach. Nice decor and well maintained. We had no issues so we didn’t have much communication with our Gene, but he did text us before we checked in to make sure we had all our info and once during our stay to see if all was well, which it was! It’s small, but perfect for a couple. Thanks for the lovely accommodations!

The condo was perfect! Beautiful beach and ocean views along with comfy living and bed space. Nice tvs in living room and bedroom, ample room for a couple. Quiet evenings with the perfect beach access for evening walks as well as going out during the day. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was great and condo is located so nice to go eat or shop easily.

Where to begin, this place was awesome! For two people this was a perfect rental. The place itself was super clean and had a nice beachy vibe to it. The back deck with a breath taking view of the ocean that also has a gate with direct beach access. There is also a foot wash on the boardwalk from the beach to the deck to clean you and your belongings before heading back in. The welcome gifts were also amazing and we couldn’t thank Gene and his wife more for everything they provided for us! This is a 10/10 recommendation!

The property was just as advertised. The view of the ocen was fabulous. The cleanliness of the unit was outstanding. It was exactly the place we needed for a short getaway at the beach. Highly recommend.

weekend was amazing and having such an adorable little home with an awesome view topped it off. if i could share a photo here of the sunrise sunday morning after some iffy weather - it was beautiful. communication was perfect between the owner as well. would def stay again!

Very clean, tidy, and well equipped. We really enjoyed the closeness to the sand and the walkway to the ocean was very nice to have. Gene is very responsive and provides clear instructions for check in and check out. The stemless wine glasses his wife makes for souvenirs are a very nice surprise! We will definitely be coming back to Turtle Tides for a longer stay.

This condo is fantastic. It is clean and well equipt and has a million dollar view of the ocean!! This morning we were watching dolphins swim. The owner is very welcoming and answers all questions right away. Highly recommend this condo.!!

Great place. worth the money. Host was fantastic. Only thing I could say that needs help is the deck is old and needs the nails pounded back down. one board was split (when we got there) and not comfortable to walk on bare foot. but sitting out there in the chairs watching the ocean. wonderful. room was well done and spacious. great location. Loved our stay

Great location, centrally located so short drive either way to all the sights you want to see. Fantastic hosts, well maintained, well stocked, right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises, would definitely stay again.
