The space
This recently updated modern home boasts impressive high ceilings and large rooms perfect for large gatherings. The four bedrooms with attached baths give everyone enough space and privacy to enjoy themselves.

Living Room:
Marvel at the view of Lake Pend Orielle and Schweitzer Mountain. Includes gas fireplace, 75 inch TV, BlueRay, Netflix, HULU and Sonos surround sound.

Game Room:
Have some fun while enjoying lake and mountain views. Includes ping pong table, (NEW) pool table, shuffleboard, 2 player arcade game, 75 inch TV, Xbox, karaoke. The super-comfortable sofa fits 6-8 people.
Additional Sleeping: Jumbo bean bag (converts to Queen sized mattress). Full-size sofa bed(memory foam topper).

The Neighborhood:
Just a twenty-minute drive from Silverwood Amusement Park and Schweitzer Mountain for entertainment no matter the season. A short drive away, you will find the town center and have access to popular local restaurants, brewpubs, and wineries.

Outdoors:
(Please keep in mind that the backyard has since been renovated since pictures were taken. There is now a boulders and rock stairs to get down to the grass area)
In the summer months we provide bikes, paddle boards and kayaks.
Relax on the deck or host a BBQ using the outdoor grill. Grab a soak in the hot tub or take a dip in the lake from your private, secluded beach.
There is a private dock to keep your boat on premises, as well as a boat launch near by. For those who don’t have a boat, there are boat & jet skiing rentals nearby, as well. If adventure is your middle name, then there are tons of activities you will enjoy! Hiking trails, water-skiing, wake-boarding and mountain biking are at the heart of this beautiful town in the summer/fall months. In the winter/spring months you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing up on Schweitzer Mountain Resort. All year around, you may enjoy the deer and elk as they gracefully walk just feet from our windows.
Lake Pend Oreille water levels are controlled by the Army Corp. of Engineers at Albeni Falls Dam. They always have the lake full by first part of June and start slowly drawing down the water the first week of October. Most years the pool level is within a couple feet of full pool level by Memorial weekend which makes our private dock usable. We are hopeful this going to change in the near future for a longer swim season.
Also please note their is a train close by that runs through if your a really light sleeper.
We are nearby and will be available for help during your stay.

My husband and I chose this vrbo for us to be able to stay close to my brother and his wife for their baby shower. It was perfect. a wonderful getaway with lakeside beach and dock and a huge back yard for our dogs. Ann was amazing and welcoming and available to answer any and all questions about the property. This home was absolutely beautiful and had everything our family needed to have an enjoyable vacation. Ann greeted us upon our arrival and helped familiarize us with the home and a nearby boat launch. The game room, beach, and all the fun toys to use on the lake were a wonderful addition on our stay. The bedrooms were all beautiful, comfortable, and cool. The home had a ton of space to relax and enjoy a family vacation. It was truly perfect and we are already planning our next stay.

This is a wonderful property, with lots of room. The bedrooms are large and each one has its own bath. Everything is very modern, and the home is well equipped. The many amenities are as described. We were here with our adult children and their significant others, and this made for a terrific gathering space. The lake is very clean, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards, as well as swimming off the beach. The house sits on a quiet road. There is a railroad track vey close to the house, and the train traffic was heavy during our stay, but the noise did not bother us. Ann was very responsive both before and during our stay. She was a joy to work with.

What a fantastic property! You can’t find a house that is stocked with more appliances, amenities or water toys. It starts with Ann (manager) who ensures your trip is supported, to the house which is new, clean, sauna, and game room for the kids. We enjoyed the firepit for smores, the dock for our boat and the the paddle boards / kayaks, etc. the driveway is huge, enough for a handful of cars and the boat trailer. Being in a sheltered cove on the water is an even bigger plus, not having to worry about kids and speeding boats. Loved everything about our stay. Highly recommend this house for a family vacation.

Stunning and Serene!

I cannot say enough about this property and home. The owners went gone above and beyond to make our stay stress free and relaxing. There was a beautiful basket filled with snacks and goodies for our stay along with personalized water bottles with our family name and fresh flowers in almost every room. The property owner Ann was a joy to work with. She was very communicative and more than kind to come welcome us and show us around the home and property. The house is stocked with everything you will need from extra blankets, highchair, so many outdoor games and activities for the entire family. Wonderful location and great amenities

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning and we enjoyed them every day. The interior of the house was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. We especially loved the hot tub, sauna, and game room - they were perfect for relaxing and having fun. Ann, the host, was amazing - she surprised us with seasonal decorations that made our stay even more special. She was also available to answer any questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation!

Amazing family getaway!

There were 15 of us. The beautiful home accommadted us well. We could all be in common areas with plenty of room and seating. Outdoors was amazing and the view was a pleasure to take in everyday. There was plenty to do both inside and out! A side note since I did the cooking is the kitchen is the bomb! I dont believe a better host can be found!!

Perfect Fall Family Vacation

Family had an amazing time! So spacious and well stocked with everything you could think of. I brought our Berkey Water filtration system and was surprised there was already one for us to use. All the live plants made this place feel like a home. With the low water this time of year, we weren't able to spend time on the lake, but there are so many other fun things to do that we didn't mind. We enjoy the cooler weather of October and are looking forward to coming back!

Perfect relaxing getaway!

Amazingly beautiful home. We loved how spacious it is. Very clean and organized. When you first arrive they have aromas going that smell amazing and relaxing, you feel like you are at your own personal spa. Hosts were very helpful. We really loved everything about it but especially the views, the whole house surround sound for music, the kitchen, and the sauna. We even extended our stay an extra 2 days because we loved it so much. It was the perfect anniversary week!

We'll comeback to Comeback Bay!

We had a fantastic stay in March for a week of training and ski racing at Schweitzer Mountain. The interior of this home is beautiful. Every room was well appointed and the whole house was decorated beautifully! This house will easily sleep a crowd of people. We were just two couples and a dog, but we did use the house for a ski team gathering of 20 people. The kids loved the game room! The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Check in and check out were a breeze too!

Beautiful and spacious home in a perfect location!

Beautiful and spacious home! We enjoyed this vacation so much we are planning to return! Everything was perfect! The beach and water kept our grandkids entertained for hours. Every room has its own bathroom and the closets are so spacious they even fit the pack and plays for the babies. This home is beautifully furnished and has everything in the kitchen you would need. The game room was a blast for everyone! Ann was amazing to communicate with. The family said this was the best vacation home we have ever rented and I agree. Thank you, Ann!

A peaceful retreat

The grounds of the home are beautifully maintained and you immediately felt a sense of calm as you stepped out to the backyard. The house was filled with vases of flowers and felt welcoming and warm. The house was well equipped, clean and the rooms were filled with natural light. There is every sort of entertainment (pool table, ping pong table, darts, games,water equipment). We enjoyed sitting around the table at night playing games. Daytime we were in the backyard enjoying the view. Ann is very responsive to any questions or needs that you may have.We all want to return soon.

Great house and lovely host!

This was by far the best house we’ve rented for New Years! Ann is so kind and thoughtful, they left us a gift basket full of New Year hats, goodies and treats. Ann stopped by in the first night to meet us and see if we need anything else or had questions. The house is so spacious and fully stocked, with extra chairs, sheets, towels etc. The kitchen had everything you would need, literally, big pots and pans, slow cooker, kettle and everything in between! The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and walkin closets, perfect for multi families. Ann was so kind to even provide a high chair and pack-n-play! The kids loved the game room and us adults enjoyed the sauna (its a small one) and the jacuzzi. Highly recommend this house and would love to come back in the summer time to enjoy the lake!

Amazing home, perfect for a family gathering

House is gorgeous, and HUGE. There is plenty to do inside and out. There were 10 of us, 7 adults and 3 kids. We played shuffleboard, pool and connect 4 the most. Very cold when we were there (Thanksgiving) so totally enjoyed the Hot Tub and Sauna! Watched all of our favorite Football games, (3 big TV's with lots to choose from to watch) enjoyed the grill, our walks - wildlife (saw eagles and a moose!, and a lot of deer evidence...). Only suggestion I have is, there is a train near by - if only they wouldn't blow their horns! Bring ear plugs and/or white noise at night. Ironically, only bothered half of us, the other half were fine. Sand Point is super close by. I can only image how awesome this place would be in summer!

Beautiful and amazingly spacious house

This is an amazingly beautiful house. Everything is perfect for a totally relaxing time. The location on Comeback Bay is excellent with mountain views from all directions, and a view of the bay from the huge patio. Easy access by boat to Lake Pend Oreille without the wind or big waves. You have your own private dock and beach to enjoy with your choice of water toys to use. If you get bored outside, there are tons of games and movies inside, including a pool table, a shuffleboard table and video games. After all that, there is a wonderful hot tub to relax in. The kitchen is a dream for any cook. So spacious and with new appliances and all the kitchen tools you might need. Very comfortable beds in large bedrooms each with it’s own private bathroom. Ann is a superhost. Very responsive to any questions we had. She went out of her way to be accommodating with a couple of unexpected situations we had. We totally enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back again.

This house literally has something for everyone in your family/group. It is convenient and easy to get to, the communication with owner is easy, and the house and view are stellar. The indoor plants and handcut flowers were such nice touches, not to mention the Sonos speakers, the comfortable beds, the quality linens, the high end touches that just keep going the more you look around the house! (LOVED having a Berkey water filter!) The gas stove, the multiple coffee making options (and coffee/pods!), the deep freeze, and so many cabinets full of dishes and appliances to choose from made it fun to manage the kitchen duties. Lots of beach towels and life jackets available for the paddle boards and kayaks (family favorite) and helmets for the bikes, plus too many board games and outdoor games to list. Personally I just loved all the birds around and in the air and water around the property. This is a two story house, and my adult kids who stayed upstairs commented that it was well insulated and they didn’t have problems with noise from the rest of the house. There is A/C upstairs. Downstairs has a portable AC for master bedroom and between that and opening windows, we were always comfortable even with the first heat wave of the season. The game room was awesome, everything is such good quality. We had read the reviews carefully about train noise; it really wasn’t a problem at all. Fans and earplugs available in all rooms. There are two lines through town so same issue anywhere.

Peaceful Retreat

The most beautiful, relaxing home. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 small children and two dogs. We had friends at an adjacent home, as we were here for a wedding. From the moment we arrived and had a walk-thru with Ann, we stepped into our lakeside oasis. The home was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. We needed absolutely nothing for the home! Beds were all comfortable, views were stunning, and the kitchen was a fun place to gather around for drinks, games and visiting. We have cooks in our group and the kitchen had good knives and plenty of quality implements. Blendtec blender, mixer, plenty of dishware. Hot tub was sparkling clean. Poole table, shuffleboard, karaoke and video games were all used by us on the rainy days. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards, as did our pups. The aroma therapy in the kitchen and master bath was a nice touch, as well as live plants, and fresh flowers in all the living spaces and bedrooms. We used the BBQ several times and watched some stunning sunsets. I loved the welcome water bottles with our family name on them and the s’mores basket. So thoughtful. We will be back and are so grateful to Ann for being such a wonderful host! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Ann for everything!

The Best House Rental!

Wow! This house is amazing! We spent the week of Thanksgiving here with family from Florida, New Jesrey and Kootenai. A gift basket with snacks and beverages was waiting for us on our arrival. That was such a pleasant surprise! Everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms, which was great! The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds were so comfortable, with plenty of pillows to chose from and so many blankets! So cozy! There's so much space, as the pictures portray, and so many things to do, even with a little snow outside. We spent the majority of our time while at the house in the fantastic game room. Ping Pong Tournaments every day, a little video arcade, some table shuffleboard and nightly xbox jackbox games that had us all laughing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even sharp knives :) We rented an SUV so had no problem getting out the driveway with snow, but Ann was so kind in asking if they should have the driveway plowed. Ann and Philip are so thoughtful and the house had everything we needed plus more! On our last full day, we braved the cold temps and tested out the hot tub. It was so relaxing and we wished we would have gotten in it sooner. We highly recommend this house and can't wait until our next visit! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us.
