This delightful large, affordable self contained & self catering double studio on the ground floor of this period Victorian house in Barons Court (W14). An ideal base for exploring London, situated close to Barons Court Tube (District & Piccadilly line-great for Heathrow), meters from Queens Club (LTA Tennis Championships). You can enjoy all the comforts of home, we are an ideal establishment for both leisure and business breaks, where privacy and comfort are a number one priority and free Wi Fi comes as standard. Perfect for 1 to 2 people

The large studio is fully self contained and as such you will have 'free reign' over the place.There is a fully fitted kitchen including oven, hob, and a washing machine. The area is quite large considering, with a area for dining table, and chairs, plus a two seater sofa , as well as two bedside tables, and wardrobe. TV with free view, Hair dryer, travel adapter plugs, plus many more 'small' things.

We live just a three minute walk from the premises, so we can be on hand, in the unlikely event that anything may arise. We like to welcome our guests personally and will always be there for your check-in, and to offer any help and advice.

I like to communicate with my guest (usually via email), to ensure everything is to your liking and that you are comfortable in the studio. If you have any questions I would be happy if you contact have a a 'welcome' booklet listing just about everything you would need - if there is anything that isn't covered my email address & phone number are in this booklet.

Barons Court is situated in West London, within the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. It is close to the River Thames (with a 17th century River Pub), the Queen’s Club is only 70 to 80 meters away which holds the annual LTA Tennis Championship before Wimbledon. There is a very unique theatre on the same road in a friendly pub. The area is predominately residential.

Car parking is not included and you would have to pay and display. The underground/tube network is only a 4min walk away, Barons Court Station, for the District Line & Piccadilly Line which is great for Heathrow-travel on either of these lines to central London is 10-20min depending on where you go. The EasyBus to & from Gatwick terminates at West Brompton a 10min walk away.

Very pleasant flat in very convenient area

A perfect welcome to London

Perfect studio apartment located close to Barons Court station with easy access to Central London. It is a great place to stay where your neighbours are local Londoners and no tourists in sight. The apartment had everything I needed for my week in London. Mia is a great host and even added a Christmas tree to the apartment as a nice welcome. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

Mia was very responsive and was there to greet us. Great location near the Barons Court Tube line. lots of shops and restaurants. The small studio was perfect had all we needed.

Comfortable cozy apartment in nice quiet location

Apartment was well appointed and comfortable. Conveniently located near 2 tube stations and a range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Mia met us on arrival and gave very good instructions and advice. Also her communication before check-in was excellent.

Terrific!

This apartment is a great bargain! The location is fantastic. The Barons Court and West Kensington Tube Stations are minutes away yet it’s so quiet. Mia is a perfect host - great communication before and during my stay and she has everything you might need in her clean and comfortable apartment. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Cozy apartment in perfect location

The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The neighbourhood is friendly. Restaurants, shops and the tube (takes you directly into the center of London) are in close proximity to the aparment. The hostess is very friendly. So all in all we really enjoyed our stay there!

Overall a good rental, but had some issues

The property host was very helpful and friendly and the check in was very easy and super quick, even on a bank holiday! We arrived during a heat wave, it was 90F and the apartment was probably 100 when we checked in. I messaged the host for a much needed fan and she had one over in less than an hour. It helped exponentially and we were so grateful! I picked this property because the reviews were so good, and they were not wrong - the host was amazing, the property was clean, the amenities were very good, and the location was great as it’s in-between two Tube stations on the District line which is very convenient for getting to a lot of the top tourist destinations. However I was surprised by a few details that were not mentioned in any reviews that I read but would definitely prevent me from staying at this property again or recommending it. First, the room is MUCH smaller than the picture makes it appear. The bed was extremely tiny and very uncomfortable, I’m 5’3” and my feet hung off the end. The shower only has about 2 feet of head room so I hit my head on the ceiling every time I showered. Most surprising, while the location is good for getting to the Tube and having restaurants and groceries nearby the street is extremely busy with both foot and car traffic and the apartment is literally on the street, someone can easily step from the landing into the window at the head of the bed. The morning foot traffic is very busy and noisy. If you have to have the windows open, which we absolutely did, people can see directly into the room and there is absolutely no privacy. The neighborhood also gets pretty dodgy at night, there is a pub literally steps away and there were drunk people walking past screaming and fighting every night which did not feel safe, especially as the windows have three separate locking mechanisms on them. There’s also no privacy in the bathroom so if you want to have that window open the entire back row of flats can watch you do your business! Lastly the walls are paper thin so we got to hear the neighbor’s domestic violence situation every morning and night. We even had to leave the property at 10:30 pm one night because the yelling was so bad, which again did not make me feel safe being out in the dodgy neighborhood at that time.

Wonderful stay in London!

Ideal location with easy access to the London Underground, the Tube. An easy to walk to Kensington High Street with fabulous shops and restaurants. I recommend Dishoom restaurant just off Kensington High Street for wonderful Indian food with a social conscious promoting unity for the world. Mia is wonderful, she accommodated us, allowing us to checking in early since our flight arrived at Heathrow at 6 am! She also communicated with us quickly, which always makes me feel at ease when renting. The flat was just right, with all the amenities needed, hair dryer, converter plugs to use with our US gadgets. Loads of mirrors, which us ladies know is a necessity with traveling! Kitchenette had everything we needed. I highly recommend Mia's place and would happily stay there again.

Perfect stay

The studio is small but very confortable, and fornished of all the needed for an enjoiable stay. What ‘s more the location is perferct to reach all the most important places and services in London thanks to two tube stations round the corner. We hope to go back to Mia’s place in the future.

Little gem

We love apartments away from tourist town when we travel. This apartment was ideal. Everything you need. Quiet location with a five minute walk to Barons Court Tube, good pub in the street and Tesco next Road. Mia was a delight to deal with. We shall certain recommend this place to others.

Fantastic place to call home base while my girlfriend and I explored London

Mia and her daughter were more than accommodating from the moment I booked the flat. Helping out with suggestions for pubs and things to do. The flat itself was perfect for my girlfriend and I with a washer, full kitchen and good size bathroom. The location of the flat was also great for exploring the city being that it was a 5 minute walk from barons court tube stop which allowed us to quickly and efficiently move around the city without worrying on how we are getting somewhere. Overall Mia and her daughter (who helped out tremendously) are outstanding hosts and we look forward to coming back for our next trip to London in the future!

Great place to stay, lovely little town!

Mia is the best owner we have ever used! As soon as we booked with her she emailed all the instructions and information about the place which was so great! To begin with do not come to the UK during Easter vacation! Besides that, I want to tell you how awesome this little apartment is and how close it is to the subway. Mia the owner and her partner Jamie met us when we got to our station in the morning, They guided us to her adorable apartment and told us a little about the place and the surrounding town. The subway stop is only a couple blocks away and perfect! The shower was a little small, but we’re on the shorter side so it was fine. Our part of West Kensington is a cute town that has several grocery stores, pubs and restaurants that were all very good. The Curtains Up right down the street is excellent, we went there just about every day and ate dinner there twice. The pizzeria and bakeries are also very good! Our stay was very nice, but because of the Holiday it was extremely crowded and there was a little protesting going on so next time we will come at a different time of year. There will be a next time and I sure do hope that we can stay in Mia’s place again! Please consider her apartment it’s perfect for 2 with all the amenities!

Clean, quiet, safe and 3-4 minute walk to the tube (Piccadilly line to Heathrow and Kings cross and Distract to tower bridge and beyond. They both of course can be used to get many other lines)
