Incredible large place

This was quite the condo. It was so spacious; clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax. Communication with the host was great. Wish I had more time and more friends to share the Condo with. Will definitely Book this condo again when I return to Cabarete.

A wonderful stay in Cabarete

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and my birthday with a friend at Ocean Dream and it was a great place to stay. We were very happy with the accommodations and the hardest part of the day was deciding on going to the pool or beach. Everything we needed and enjoyed was within walking distance. The other residences were very friendly and we always felt safe in our surroundings! It was one of our favorite trips and we would consider coming back for sure!

Amazing apartment in Cabarete!

Perfect apartment for a nice get away in DR! Just steps to the beach, very central in Cabarete! The apartment is located in a very safe complex guarded 24/7. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and plenty of light in the living room. I had a very pleasant stay thanks also to the owner Eric who owns the best local kitesurfing brand: STAR KITES. Eric was kind enough to organize downwinders to Encuentro. We had great wind and waves conditions, fantastic! Eric also booked some kitesurfing classes for a friend of mine. My friend was delighted to discover a new sport. I try to go to Cabarete twice a year and Eric with Ocean Dream Cabarete team are my go to for all my trips! Get ready to get salty and refreshed in Cabarete!

2nd time staying here, 2016 and again most recently Feb 10th to Feb. 20th. 4 single women early 60’s

Per above 2nd time here, excellent accommodation and Sonja is readily available on arrival and is very reliable in responding to any and all questions. We couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t exceeding our expectations. I screwed up the tv and simply had to email Sonja and she came and fixed it. One piece of luggage didn’t make it and again Sonja was able to intercept and arrange for the luggage to be delivered to us and kept us informed along the way. We didn’t have a phone nor did we speak Spanish so we were very grateful for her help. We felt very safe and enjoyed that it wasn’t a loud party place. Great relaxing vacation with good restaurants and friendly people. Love Ocean Dream

Close to beautiful beach!

Location is perfect. The unit itself is in a bit of disrepair. Dated and worn-out linens and mattresses and pillows. Appliances did not work well, the freezer did not freeze ice, all but 1 of the stovetop burners would not stay lit, the oven did not seal. Limited pots, pans, glassware, and bowls. Lots of space, beautiful and clean pool. Lovely balcony. Sonja was a responsive host! Mid-week cleaning service was a nice touch.

Contesto elegante, sicuro e tranquillo, ad un passo dalla spiaggia e da servizi e ristoranti. L’appartamento si presenta un po’ vissuto, ma molto bello e godibile.

Best Place for Kiting in Family and others

Very large condo with impeccable decoration and clean in a very upscale residence on the water and reasonable prices All water activities are right there, and all restaurant and night life are also walking distance from the beach. No car needed. The perfect stay for kiting, surfing and other activities in family.

Great retreat for our group after hard days of volunteer work.

This property served our humanitarians from Hispaniola Cares very well. After long days of work in local clinics and schools, this place offered a great relaxing environment. Plenty of space for the 6 adults in our group. The property manager was awesome and responsive as well. Fantastic!!!

Great apartment and location!

Apartment is very clean and main advantage it is located 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. No car needed as you do everything (restaurants etc...) walking distance. You can also take fun moto concho! Great spot for kite surfing and surf spot is 15 minutes away with moto poncho. Try also Casa de Papy for excellent gambas !

Fantastic Place!

Just like the other reviews, the place was great. I just returned from a 9 night stay and absolutely loved it. The complex and the grounds are beautiful and all within walking distance to everything you need. Sonja met us at the property and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She also recommended a transfer company for one of our friends that continued his vacation further down the coast. I would stay in this exact unit if I returned to Cabarete.

Another great year ay Ocean Dream

Our group has been vacationing in D.R. for about 11 years. We've stayed in 3 different location however the past 5 years have been at Ocean Dream......We found a new home. The staff is friendly, Sonja is a Great, They take security seriously, plus a great location. In walking distance of many great restaurants, bars and clubs. A minute walk to the beach and a private pool for each building. Already booked for next year......

Excellent 2-month stay!

Great unit, and great customer service by Sonja! We feel very fortunate to have stayed here for two months. At first, there were a few basic kitchen items that were missing, but Sonja was quick to help us get everything we needed. The unit is situated in a quiet area, with an easy sight-line to the pool, so we could keep an eye on our kids. In addition to Sonja, the maintenance staff, security, and cleaning crew at Ocean Dream are all very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of city-wide power outages while we were there, and we did have a few related issues with the air-conditioning units, but Sonja was always quick to help get the situation remedied. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The apartment, the town, the watersports, the people... all amazing.

Great looking property, very clean and well kept friendly staff

I love it wil recomend it to everyone who is looking for an awesome place to stay at while in the Dominican Republic. Awesome place to stay with everything you need close by beach pool and plenty of great food choices within walking distance. If you're into water sports there's plenty to there and other adventours right up the way in the next town. Loved it so much will be coming back again in the future.

The place is good the vibe is verry good to. Quiet place in the low season. Easy and quick acces to the beach. The condo is verry clean and we receve a good service to the rental (SeaLane Escape inc.) Thank for all.!!

Big and beautiful by the Beach

Restful, just what we all needed. The manager, Sonia was great to work with. She arranged airport pickups for us and answered any questions we had. The unit was clean, beautiful and relaxing, large bedrooms and each with their own bath. Napping on the balcony chaise after hours in the sun was especially nice with the tropical breeze. Everyone in Cabarete was friendly and all the local platos tipicos were tried and enjoyed. I highly recommend this unit if going to Cabarete on your next vacation. Recommend a new mattress in the queen bedroom as a bit of rolling to the middle was an issue. The King BR was great. Bliss, The Lazy Dog (ask for their plato tipico menu), and Mis Otra Cosa were just 3 of the best restaurants we tried.

Better Than Any Pictures ! Comfort & Safety...

We have just spent an amazing week at Ocean Dream, Cabarete ! Great Apartment fully equipped right in the heart of Cabarete. The unit was very comfortable, very calm and relaxing. I appreciated being able to park the rental car and have everything at walking distance. Perfect location to go kiteboarding in the afternoon when the wind starts blowing or spend your morning by the beach or around the pool. If you surf or enjoy flat water kiteboarding, you are also at equal distance from la Boca or Encuentro... Stop looking around, this is the best place to rent in Dominican Republic !

Great place Great location, Paradise!

I loved the unite had at Ocean Dream. It was super clean and confortable. Huge living room and kitchen with terrasse on the pool. 3 bedrooms plenty of space!!! Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes from the beach, from the kitesurfing spot, from restaurants and nightlife, so you do all you need by foot or moto-concho!!! The owner, we met, is a cool guy and knows perfectly Cabarete,. He gave us plenty go good tips about kite surfing downwinders horseback riding surf restaurants etc... We came for a week with friends and kids and we all had a blast! Next year we come back to Ocean Dream Cabarete!!! AN

With a passion for nature, animals, salsa and water sports (windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing) it was just natural , after 20 years of intense NYC tech-corporate life , to fall in love with the boutique village of CABARETE.

A dream place I could easily travel to, while staying well-connected and enjoying all the activities this amazing place has to offer.

As a father, it was also imperative there be the utmost security for my 3 children.
I love being able to combine in one day so many activities without having to spend any time driving, which leaves more time for social life and a perfect balance of work and play!!

My priority in life is now to share the experience of such an extraordinaire place with my guests.
Addicted to kiteboarding (since 1999!!), I am developing internationally an emerging kitesurfing brand and CABARETE is the best showroom I could possibly find …. I also love to organize A+ downwinders to Encuentro for our kitesurfing visitors.

My guest manager Sonja and I can be found right in the beachfront residence where the condos are located and take great pride in being responsive to any of our renters' needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly – from all guest services to maintenance and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities to make you feel right at home!
