Private and peaceful, this cozy cabin is located in boreal forest at the end of a private road close to Fairbanks. You will enjoy exclusive use of this retreat during your stay. The hooting of a great horned owl on the mountain behind the house is only rarely disturbed by the distant moan of the locomotive winding through the valley below.The property that this cabin and the main house sits on feels remote even though it is less than 15 minutes from shopping and Fairbanks International Airport.

I like this lodge very much! Just 10-15 minutes drive from the hotel and 20-30 minutes drive to the murphy dome where I saw the perfect aurora. The lodge is like a refuge from the outside world, queit and cozy, everything inside is clean and easy to use. If I want to visit Alaska again, this lodge would be one of the most important reason.

The views from the hillside were amazing, especially in the early morning and evening when the landscape lights up with that classic Alaskan beauty. It felt like the perfect mix of being close to nature while still having all the comforts of home.The hosts clearly care about their guests and the property.
